DISLIKE your digital coupons .... I say you show up and you should be able to get your deals if you use your Rewards card . Went into store this morning and what should have taken me 15 minutes to pickup items up it took close to a hour due to my phone ..... and other customers were down in the store. mind you I had already put the digital coupons in before I went to store had to redo and still didn't get the savings off the flour and sugar. Like to shop here and do so frequently but tried the grill for the first time and it's a HARD NO. Burgers were too greasy to eat bun was soaked fries tasted old and Mac and cheese tasted weird. Expected better from a service that caters. Sorry Price Chops..I will still shop here but not grab a quick bite. Ya can't be great at everything I suppose! UPDATE: THANKS FOR THE CALL. Today, I received a call from Debbie, and they will be doing training and making things right with me. It was an off day..more stars to them for great customer service. read more

Very good selection of groceries. This has a Starbucks in it too for coffee drinkers although I recommend Hazel's for Coffee which is close by. This has pharmacy, bakery , deli , liquor & meat dept. all of which seem very well stocked with good variety. I recommend stopping in here. Very nice addition to St. Joseph in my opinion read more

Very clean and sleek, like all of the other Cosentino's Price Choppers. As much as I like HyVee, some of the older ones, like the one down the street, don't have produce that look as fantastic, are a bit grungy, and give off this 80's feel. I kind off feel happy, maybe even a little hip, sipping on my Starbucks Chestnut Praline Latte while browsing the multitude of milk options in the beautiful refrigerated section. That being said, the snazziness hides some of its glaring issues. First of all, it is hard to find more obscure items, if they have them at all. For example, I searched high and low for hazelnuts but it was in vain. Also, I find the aisle organization odd. School supplies same aisle as cereal? Lastly, I wish there were more Kansas City products, like Roasterie or Parisi coffee and Farm to Market Bread. I do think that Price Chopper is a great addition to St. Joe (and a bit jealous... I wish they came to Atchison instead). I love having another grocery store option beside HyVee (and no, Walmart doesn't count). read more

Worst grocery store I've ever been in I'm in the middle of my life working Kansas City for 20 years that Price Chopper is ridiculous they were so busy was like Christmas which is nothing new I've been there before. But they could not handle it they will let anybody in the 10 items or less I'll so for those of us grabbing five items was just had to wait after I waited 25 to 30 minutes to get up there the lady behind me ask my check or question about her jar and he stopped in the middle of my order and helped her for two minutes I'm going back to HyVee and never going back there again. read more

Great grocery foot court. I got the swai lunch special and it was excellent! The pork tenderloins are HUGE- you can cut it in half and have enough for two sandwiches. Things look very clean and the counter help is friendly and quick. read more

Imagine Hy-Vee but sleeker, easier to navigate and more versatile. I went to Price Chopper the other day to get some delicious food. The salad bar was jaw-dropping! You could chose every item that you wanted in your salad, however they only had two workers assigned to the salad bar which lead to a depressingly lengthy wait time. It was splendid to navigate, with resplendent labels to help you get around. The variety was abysmal. If you went in looking for a very specific item, you could have a grueling journey. They had friendly workers and a scrumptious bakery with high quality French bread and top notch apple pies. The dazzling aroma draws you to the Baker's delicacies. "It was delicious; the best pie I've ever had" - Katherine C They also had a nice selection of sushi, a few for example were the Philadelphia roll and California roll. The food may seem a little expensive, however it's well worth it with how great it tastes. The amount of LED lights, while this may be a niche complaint, seemed a little overkill, and it had a strange atmosphere with how open it was. If you're ever in need of some delicious food and are near a Price Chopper on North Belt, you know where to go. read more
