Stopped by 1 afternoon for some traditional Mexican and this place did not disappoint. It is a mid size spot in the center of town in Wallingford. When you walk there are about 6 tables with the person taking orders by the register. The place is super casual and the girl working on the front super friendly. We had burritos and tostadas which were very good. The burrito which was what I had was super big and flavorful. Burritos are one of those meals that you can't go wrong with. The tostadas were what you would expect, crunchy with lots of toppings. Definitely a place to stop by while in Wallingford. read more

The chamango is one of the best ones I've have yet in ct! A good ratio of chamoy to mango. The fruit is fresh and good quality. Now the cholado? It was an experience. I'm allergic to certain fruit, and yet I'm literally watching them mix my drink in with residue from the last smoothie they mixed. After I specifically asked them not to and for 2 different beverages. Cups are not filled and I was charged extra for the most minuscule amount of honey I've ever seen. The lack of attention to detail is cringeworthy. I shouldn't have to ask employees to remove the inedible parts of a fruit from my smoothie before blending. Such as cores or stems. It was so delicious, the topping to corn ration was spot on. . The steak and cheese was well seasoned and the cheese is Mexican style (no American cheese option) but all in all it was scrumptious. It seemed like all was lost until one of my wife's co-workers suggested we should try this place. When we walked through the door we immediately felt like we were transported home. Lady at the cash register was rude as hell. Girlfriend and I show up to pick up our food (we asked for 2 sandwiches on the phone) and she hands us one. We mention to her that we ordered 2 and she just raised her voice saying "no" and turned her back to us.
