I have tried several other places for waxing (including the Benefit in Westport) and Mallory is the only one who I've kept coming back to. I have social anxiety and I usually hate having any beauty services done (haircuts, manicures, etc) but I actually look forward to seeing Mallory. The manager (I assume that's who she is because she presents as having authority) is always very rude. I have never had a positive interaction with her. During your birthday week you can receive a free brow wax, so I took advantage of that and also got a brow tint (knowing I would have to pay for the extra service). The manager told me several times that only the brow wax was covered and I have to pay for the tint and tip on the whole amount. I already knew all of that and did not appreciate her treating me like that, she was practically berating me. She has such a negative attitude and is so unpleasant to be around. I continue to put up with her though just for Mallory. The atmosphere in the boutique is also uncomfortable sometimes. I only come there for waxing services, although they do carry the full line of Benefit products. I do love Benefit but it is cheaper for me to buy their products at other stores where I can earn rewards or use coupons. But whenever you are there, especially if you are waiting for your appointment, employees will follow you around and push products on you trying to make a sale. After you get waxed they will ask if you want some aloe and I always say no (even though I would like some) because I don't want them to pitch any products. I understand they must have sales goals to meet but it is very off putting. Overall, it is worth it to come here for Mallory.
