Reading previous reviews here I have a big concern why if I paid for a full syringe for my lips and the second time why I received just the haft????? I paid a full price for it and the logical is used it on the client yes the service is good no complains about that but I spend 2700 $ plus 700$ I. Very happy with my lip filler, Stephanie took the time to dissolve any previous migrated filler and then about 2 weeks later perfected my lips. I like a more natural look and she definitely achieved that! I also get laser hair removal here. The only issue I've had with laser is that in the summer you can't really continue your sessions. I probably wouldn't have purchased the package knowing this ahead of time. Either way, will still continue to come to GMS! read more

Would NEVER return to Greenwich Medical Spa after they threatened to call the police on me...! I had a horrible billing and customer service experience at Greenwich Medical Spa Cos Cob Location. I have been a patient of Greenwich Medical Spa for 2 years without a problem. I had purchased treatments with a Black Friday special and had redeemed part of the package at a Scarsdale location - but not the entire package. Last week I went to Cos Cob GMS where the front desk told me I had already redeemed the package at their Scarsdale location . We went back and forth for several minutes because I was certain I still had credit on my account. They finally called to check the patient chart notes that day they found I was correct. When the front desk told me what I owed, I asked if they could pull up the original receipts so I could cross check because I wanted to look at the original purchase vs what was redeemed. They mentioned not having access to certain records bc of the the fire that occurred at their last location. Because of this I said I wanted to cross reference my bank statement to be sure our records align. The manager aggressively responded to me : "Then I'll have to call the police on you." I was appalled , shocked and extremely startled... I said I wanted to go into the sitting area and look at my online banking information. After I had a chance to look at my statement I went to the front desk to pay and I told the manager that she owed me an apology for threatening me. She came AROUND from the window and out into the customer area and aggressively got into my face. She yelled "I will not apologize to you!" And got extremely close in my personal space . I put my hand up to make some distance and she told me to get my fingers out of her face , and kept yelling that she would not apologize to me. Other patients in the Med Spa witnessed this , as did other staff and no other staff member did anything. I got angry as anyone would! I told her she should not be in a customer facing position if this is how she treats a paying customer and patient. She sarcastically yelled to me that "I hope I enjoyed the services and will come back again soon!" I've never had such a disrespectful, offensive , and aggressive interaction with an establishment. This review is not to negate the RN that I adore and think is extremely talented -- but unfortunately I can't bring myself to return after such appalling treatment. After reading SEVERAL other negative hidden reviews on Yelp (see below where it says 91 other reviews that are not recommended). I can see I am not the only person who has had issues with his establishment. I wrote an email to management and they did call me their apology was brief and lackluster , they made excuses for the employee saying she has been their for six years and they encouraged me to go to a different location. I've spent literally thousands of dollars here, have actually written a prior positive review and allowed them to use photos willingly for their marketing advantage to help their business. I have been to this Med spa on several occasions and had wonderful results, I have sent a friend and my daughter who spent heavily. This last visit the girl I usually use was not available, after meeting with an extremely nice RN I was comfortable having her doing the work. "We" agreed she would do exactly as what was in my medical notes as in vermilion and amount. As you can see by the photo she injected deep plane causing severe bruising and costing me several days of filming. I had emailed with the office manager once and had two phone calls with her asking for them to compensate me in someway as in having it done properly in the future and with the woman I normally use. They only offered a "red light" treatment and a follow up with the same RN. Did she not hear me right? I did not agree nor did I sign a consent for the treatment I received. Why would I see the same RN? Needless to say they never did the right thing. I am the easiest customer. They are not ethical nor do they have integrity, honesty or pride in the work they do. read more

The space is clean and attractive, and I liked the two practitioners I worked with a great deal. However, I have eight laser hair removal sessions on my legs (I have light skin and dark hair) and there is almost no change. I have been going to the Greenwich Medical Spa for about five months now. I had acne that just would not go away, and I would cake my face in foundation and concealer in order to hide my skin. That's when I met Ellen and the Face Reality Acne Clinic. Wow. My skin is clear and all that is left is some scarring that will eventually fade. I'm in absolute awe of the work that Ellen has done. I got lip fillers a couple months ago and paid for a full syringe. They told me to come back in a week or so to ensure that my lips were even. I came back to find out that they were going to charge me an extra $700 just to get my lips fixed. I've gotten my lips filled numerous times before and it is known practice to save some of the filler for your follow up appointment, and if not, then letting the customer know up front might be a good idea. I called and complained and spoke to manager who did nothing. Horrible customer service. read more

I told them my availability and then nothing...no reply...I responded to them again and still no reply. Overall a GREAT experience. It is clean and very well kept up. I went to get my lips done and i cant express enough how nice the staff was. Jacqueline was my NP and she was so understanding, nice and kept me calm since it was my first time. They keep up with how you are doing and make sure you are happy throughout your wait there. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and the medical assistant that helped me before my procedure was amazing! Amanda is amazing and they even schedule you for a follow up 2 weeks later in case you need just a touch more (it's included in your original visit fee for Botox). As we discussed my treatment, we talked about the constant flow/changes in info about Covid-19 and how the GMS team was reviewing and revising protocol on a daily basis. I agree with several comments, basically customer service is horrible. I did not make an appointment because the person I spoke with was clearly not knowledgeable about the treatments available or how to describe. In addition, a $100 deposit was required which is non-refundable and gets charged to your cc immediately. Yes, it is applicable to any service or product. However, I have never been charged unless an appointment is not canceled within 24-48 hours. I could not get an appointment for 2+weeks yet my cc was to be charged immediately. I totally understand a consultation fee and appreciate that it's applicable towards products, as well as services, but really...charging non-refundable deposit no matter how many days till appointment?! That's a lot of nice Interest for GMS. Never encountered a policy like this, especially considering the already inflated prices for Botox and other treatments. read more

I had lip augmentation with a physician assistant Shilpa Desai. I told her I wanted a natural look and to only use 1/2 of the syringe. She used it all and injected my lips with a needle 8 times including 2 on the sides. Greenwich medical used a filler that causes more swelling according to them. They also used a needle and not the less invasivevcannola. My lips are so swollen and painful 2 days later. I look ridiculous. They suggested letting this same PA inject a solution to dissolve the lip filler. I want to go to a doctor/dermatologist to do this. Greenwich medical spa is refusing to refund my money and wants an opportunity to fix it. I am writing to you to say go to a dermatologist and see a trained medical professional but do not go to greenwich medical spa. read more

I had a very bad experience here. I received Botox for a very special occasion ( my sons wedding in Miami) It was very painful ( no numbing cream offered or used) when I told them of the asymmetry that the Botox has caused on my face I was told it would correct itself in a week or two! Believing this I arrived at my destination in Miami and waited!! (They also tried to sell me additional very expensive solutions.) Three weeks later no improvement. In fact my one eye was almost closed shut and still bruised!! I found a brilliant practitioner in Miami Dr. Leslie Baumann and her team at Baumann Cosmetic Dermatology who luckily were able to help and correct the problems. She told me the work had been done by an inexperienced injector! I have since heard from friends very similar experiences. I would advise anyone who is considering any injectables to look beyond their fancy exterior and to seek a more reputable place before entrusting your face to people that are inexperienced and only interested in selling expensive add on treatments! read more

I recently got the Eraser done. My first facial treatment ever. From the very beginning of the process, everyone was super nice and helpful. I asked everyone lots of questions and everyone who had the treatment done themselves gave me their first hand experience. They do offer other products (usually kind of expensive) but no one pushes anything on you. If you say no thank you, that's it. Which i really like. The whole process was great and just a few days since the treatment- I am so happy with the results. Amanda and the entire staff were friendly and warm from the very beginning. If you want to overpay for botox and other injectables and not even see a doctor, this is the place for you! Sure, it is nice place and you get to have tea in a real cup, but I can get that at home. In fact, I do not understand why the term "Medical" is in the name of the place. No doctor was even on the premises the two times I went there. I prefer to go to a doctor, get expert advice and pay a whole lot less for injections given by a trained physician. This place was a total waste of time and money. They talked a lot but the job they did was sub-par and over priced for just about anywhere in this vicinity. read more

Nice place. Very calming. Receptionists were very nice. Painless, which I appreciated. All was well until the nurse priced my treatment at 700 in total. I came out to the receptionist and she said 904 with tax. I wouldn't have done it if it was 900. I told her what Nicole priced me and she was upset about it. She went to the back to speak to Nicole about and and said she'd have to honor the quoted price. Well, the quoted price was 700 and she still charged me $850 with tax. She really only gave me a $50 discount and thinks I didn't notice. I just wanted to get out of there. I can get this procedure done anywhere and will probably try another place next time. Little things like that make it difficult to think about returning. So awkward and it really wasn't my fault. Also, they advertise Botox at $199 but it isn't true at all.
