We hosted a party here back in January for my daughter's birthday, and although it's taken me a while to write this review, I wanted to share what a great experience we had. Reserving the space was super easy, and the venue was perfect for both gatherings and birthday celebrations. The owner was incredibly sweet and accommodating, and the staff were all very helpful. There are two mini golf courses, a fun play area for kids, and good music playing throughout. The adults had a great time in the birthday room, which featured both a foosball and a billiards table. Well, it's a great option for when the weather stinks and you wanna play mini golf. The course is super crammed but what do you expect? It's in a mall (Sugarloaf Mills Mall). Parking was insane! I didn't realize people still went to the malls these days, because I try to avoid them at all costs. The course glows which is kind of cool. The course was a bit under the weather, and you can tell it's been around a while. The cost was $34 for my boyfriend, me, my daughter and her friend. I really didn't care for the ones with the ramps. Ugh! I bet my boyfriend, and lost because I BLEW UP on one of the holes, and got a ten. Yes, a TEN! He was so happy to finally beat me at something, so now I gotta pay up. At the end of the course, you can do this prize hole, and I actually got it, so I won a free game for one player. Too bad I'm not really sure we would come back here. I mean, it was okay and all, but the one outdoors we went to was a lot nicer and cheaper. The girl behind the counter didn't seem very happy to be there either. Lunar Mini Golf sits inside Sugarloaf Mills Mall (off exit 109 on 85) right near the AMC Theater. It's an interesting spot for it to be, and I've walked by it many times before. The concept is basically putt putt played under black lights, so everything glows. I took my son here finally to check it out. The cost was $17 total for both of us. We grabbed our putters and balls, and then hit the first course. They have an easy, medium and hard course, and you get to play all of them with the price. The hard course was pretty challenging and getting a hole in one takes some real talent, and ability to smash the ball very hard with precision. We both got hole in ones on the medium course, which I liked a lot more. One of the courses had a loop on it, which I had never seen (like a roller coaster). There was a birthday party during the time we went and little kids going crazy, which kind of took away from the experience for me. At the end of the course, on the final hole, you have a chance to win a free game when you come back. It's almost like plunko. We both didn't get the ball in the winning hole. We looked forward to our date, and Lunar Mini Golf was in our sights for this event. The young woman who greeted us was friendly, and we started with the easy course. We felt a bit rushed with families with children coming behind us, but i is can't hold that against Lunar Mini Golf. Kids are kids. I have one myself. We knew we had the option to do both courses, and while there's were some powerful fans scattered through between holes, it was still kinda warm, so we decided to head out and skip the hard course. OMG! This place was sooo much fun. My date and I had the greatest time since there was a wager involved. I totally lost as the course got more advance, but it was fun nonetheless. If you haven't already guessed, this is a glow in the dark mini golf place. I love it because well, 1) it's indoors but most importantly 2) this place and everything in it glows in the dark. The price was $9 per person with no time limit. There was an easy course and hard course. I'm unsure if there was one in between as we sort of stumbled around and just went with it. Lol. At the end, you can attempt to shoot the ball into this last area to get a chance to win another game or something, but it's also a way for the balls to be collected. The service here was great as the gal who worked that evening was super friendly and informative. This is a great place for those first couple of dates since it's so much fun playing in the dark. I don't know. This was just an awesome place as my date and I had a blast last Saturday evening. If you're trying to locate this place, just aim for the AMC theaters and you will be relatively close. read more

My girlfriend & I decided to stop in here on a whim during our last visit to the Sugarloaf Mills mall. We visited on a late Monday afternoon and were the only ones in there for the first half of our game. The entire venue is glowing from the blacklights and neon decorations, which I thought was neat. There seems to be a dinosaur/animal kingdom/space alien theme throughout. $9 per person covers both the "easy" and "hard" course. The courses aren't the best quality as there is duct tape in several places and most of the arrows that point you to the next hole are faded. It was also a little warm when we went even though they had big fans blowing throughout. We still had a fun time though, and I think most people would as long as you don't have high expectations. Lunar mini golf was very fun and my family had a good time. A big con is if anyone you know has heat problems or you do not like a little heat you might not like this place. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Even though located inside a shopping mall, we experienced a couple of QUITE WARM and HUMID golf rounds. A few floor fans and ceiling fans were not very effective. Rounds are intentionally played at a low light level for the right atmosphere. Most of the golf balls glowed in the dark, but not all of them. Went for something to do with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. This place was swarming with kids and I started to regret coming, but it actually ended up ok. The kids aren't really playing golf, they're just breezing through the course so you don't get in each other's way too much. When had to skip a few holes and come back to them. There are two course a easy and difficult but difficult isn't really that bad though it is more challenging. You can do both courses, that'll take about 60 mins or so with just two people. And you can play as long as you want while you're there. Anyway we had a great time though I did feel a little rushed because there were a lot of kids there. Good thing is the course is at the mall so you can grab something to eat or something after you're done. read more

This is a glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course inside of Discover Mills. It's near the Books-A-Million and AMC in case you've trouble finding it. They've two courses, one easy and one hard. I think this place would be great for kids or for a fun date if you're not a kid. I have to admit there was a part during the hard course that I found a tad challenging. Haha. I highly recommend this place. It wasn't super expensive and it would be great if it was raining or cold outside and you don't want to go to an outdoor mini-golf place. There is a coldstone ice cream shop right nearby as well. So it's also a perfect place to stop by afterwards. read more

DID NOT SHOW UP FOR BOOKED BIRTHDAY DURING NORMAL HOURS! I was super excited when I booked my son's birthday party weeks in advance and then called again 2 days to confirm and they said we were booked. We showed up 2 days later at the reserved time, and even though the website it was open, the gates were pulled down. We called the phone number and noone picked up. I had to frantically and on the fly figure out what I was going to do with the 11 children and their families that came so we went over to Dave and Buster's. I think it's common knowledge that Buzz Aldrin is a liar and a pervert. If he had really gone to the moon, the "tapes" would have shown him doing ecstasy in the middle of a black light rave with a herd of plesiosaur. But that's not what we saw. Instead the government has been feeding us falsified videos of men playing Maxi golf on the moon, while not even wearing the appropriate Maxi Pads. But we know the truth. As a member of the fabled Illuminati, I have been shown evidence that depicts the true surface of the moon in stunning accuracy. The manager of this establishment must also be a member of the Illuminati, because she has made an almost perfect replication of it, from the mosaics of dinosaurs all along the walls to the black lighting and glow in the dark tape/wood that makes up the miniature golf course. I have taken several Make-A-Wish children who have always wanted to go to the moon here, and even though I can't really see their expressions due to the black light, I can only assume that their dying wish has been granted. Their never-ending sobs of joy echo in my mind as I fall asleep at night. I am a good man. There are two courses, one easy and one hard, that you can play for only eight dollars. The black light is a nice effect, with the only fault being that it prevents you from seeing the small hills that litter the course. Instead, these mole hills are outlined with glow tape, but it still makes it a tad more difficult. The easy course is pretty simple and is mostly there to help you get acclimated to your surroundings before you face the true challenge: the hard course. The hard course is slightly insane. Don't bother keeping score; you're going to do poorly. It's a little repetitive in the fact that most of the difficulty comes from trying to knock your ball up a slope without hitting it so hard that it goes down the slope on the other side. But overall, it's a lot of fun. There's even a bonus hole at the end of the course where you can win another round of golf. One of the few negatives here is that the manager has not had the time to install the anti-gravity fields necessary to perfectly recreate the moon's surface. Also, there is too much oxygen in the room. I had to continuously suffocate myself because the lazy staff members refused to do it for me. read more

So pretty much you pay for however many kids play golf, they provide a table area upfront where there is light and you bring your own cake, food, etc.....I would say if you were to compare it to a birthday party at like chuck e cheese you would come out on top. Really like any other mini golf place- except the lights (and apparently AC) are turned off. You're able to do both the easy and hard courses but I suggest doing the easy. The hard is more like "impossible" for some holes. Came on a weekday and we were the only people there which was pretty nice, but we felt like it was hotter in there than it was outside. The Jetsons meet the Flintstones at Lunar Mini Golf. Dinosaurs on the moon watch with whispered comments as you negotiate a truly tough test of putting. Just like the eggheads at NASA control, you better be on top of your geometry to score well. Some of the holes here are as difficult as you will find anywhere. Don't mind the little kids scurrying from hole to hole, they're just there honing their skills for future rounds on the actual moon. Went here yesterday 7-6-2016 and it was over priced $9 a person. But the worst part is the reason you go to indoor mini golf is to get out of the weather right.? It was like being out in the Georgia heat it was so hot in there. At least out side there is air.
