Well overdue review for Dr. Morno, Dr. Bahkos and their staff. To preface, I'm a licensed…read moreesthetician myself and previously worked for a cosmetic dermatologist so have had my fair share of different providers take care of me. I've been seeing Dr. Morno for a year or so, for Botox and filler. She is amazing! I've never been so happy with my results, she is humorous, very smart and kind. Listens to my likes/dislikes. Such an artist! She has amazing credentials as an Allergan trainer and experience as an ocular surgeon. I would not go to anyone else for injections moving forward. She also performed a session of microneedling/PRF injections under my eyes and the results are fantastic. I've scheduled another session. I would trust no one else with my under eye. 10/10! I can't say enough about her. In addition, I visited Dr. Bakhos for surgical removal of a lesion right on my cheek and the results healed beautifully. I would highly recommend both of them, whether you are needing a surgical treatment or simply visiting the med spa. Both med spa and surgery offices have the KINDEST, most professional staff. These treatments are not the most fun and someone is there every time holding your hand. Everyone I have met has been patient, kind, communicative and so well educated on procedures/processes/outcomes. Shoutout to Alicia, Alexa and the awesome assistant who worked with me during Dr. Bahkos procedure. Highly recommend for the best service and results every time. Do not hesitant to visit RL.

I'm disappointed with how this office handled a missed appointment. I did not receive a text…read morereminder or confirmation for the appointment, which I typically rely on--especially since the appointment was scheduled far in advance. I was not informed that no reminder would be sent. When I explained this, I was told that reminders are only a courtesy and that patients are fully responsible regardless. While I understand policies, I was hoping for some flexibility or a one-time courtesy waiver given the circumstances. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to meet in the middle. Because of this experience, I chose to cancel my future appointments. Just sharing so others are aware to closely track appointments on their own and not rely on reminders. After I requested cancellation of my future appointments, I did not receive a response or confirmation that my future appointments are cancelled. This further reinforced my experience of poor communication.

I had a return to make which went well. The young lady at the register was very nice and helpful. Inc so finished I decided to look around. This is where things took a turn. A sales associate with an orange head wrap on stood near me at the Patrick ta display. She didn't offer to help and was just staring so I asked her for assistance. Upon telling me the product that I was inquiring about wasn't available I proceeded to ask about any other suggestions for a similar color. She stated no there is nothing else. Before I could ask another question she walked over and asked another customer if she needed help and walked away. I continued browsing the store without a single store associate offering to help. There were several in the store, although some were with patrons, others were standing around or conversing with each other. I saw the young lady who helped me at the register who's name was Bre so I flagged her down and asked for assistance. Even though she was on the register she took the time to come to the floor to assist me and return back to the register. I'm truly thankful for her assistance. If she hadn't been so personable I would have left without making a purchase. However, after today this will be a store that I won't frequent. I'll stick with my normal Sephora location.

While I was looking through the gift sets, I noticed that one of the bags was a little open and I was trying to zip it to close it, I touched the zipper for 2 seconds and one of the coworkers/or manager (who has brown/blond ish balayage hair), told me "please do not open the products, thank you" in a rude and loud tone where everyone near me and my boyfriend can hear and gave me a look after that. I understand that it's her job to make sure no one is stealing and that she may of thought I was trying to open it but she could of been a little nice about it or came up to me personally and I would of explained to her that I was trying to close the zipper. After that, I continued to walk around but felt bad, embarrassed, and uncomfortable to the point where I didn't even buy the product I needed to restock and me and my boyfriend left. I didn't get the name of that employee but needless to say, I didn't really have good experience.

I really struggle with Ulta and being a regular customer…read more Now, don't get me wrong, I love beauty products, I am a VIB Rogue at Sephora (meaning I spend entirely way too much money on beauty products), however Sephora does not carry everything I use. Hence I still find myself shopping Ulta from time to time. At this location I rarely find items I want in stock. I don't have time or patience to keep returning or checking other locations, so I find it frustrating that products are constantly out of stock. Routinely I only find about half of what I am looking for. This holiday I went while shopping for some gifts. The store was in complete disorganization. Example: items for nails were in no less than 4 completely different sections. I get cross shopping concepts and so forth, I worked in retail for years, however this clearly is just poor organization and presentation. I asked for help numerous times and each time my questions were met with clueless stares and having to ask someone else and still not getting an answer. The only person who was helpful and knowledgeable was a sweet girl in fragrance who could have been Elle Woods cousin from Legally Blonde, she knew her product and was very friendly. Overall, I find it harder and harder to return to their stores. Maybe I should switch to online exclusively but with beauty products that nearly defeats the purpose. Hopefully they can make some changes to their inventory and stock practices. Based on what I have read about their company's expansion plans I sure hope so, because with these practices and expansion on top of that it will likely just get worse. We shall see.

Situated right between Red Robin and Gurnee Hyundai on the corner of Grand and Hunt Club, he's right around the corner from my house. A board certified dermatologist, Dr. Panine can also work on age spots, bumps, and many other little nits that bother you. He takes insurance for regular visits. Alas, my insurance doesn't cover erasing years from my face, so I'm sticking with paralyzing my muscles for now. I'm happy to report that three small pricks on each side of the corners of my face which was numbed for about 15 minutes under an ice mask has COMPLETELY eradicated my crow's feet. That's certainly worth the price. There were no side effects. It took a couple of days to really work. I just wonder how long it will last? Surprisingly, nobody noticed, even my husband of 32 years. You'd think he would have memorized every detail by now, but no. Doesn't matter! I can tell, and that's who matters in the end. What wasn't the most pleasant was a wait of 45 minutes after checking into reception on time. When I asked the attendant how much longer, I was whisked back to treatment room within 5 minutes where a very friendly and attractive attendant briefly chatted and gave me the mask to numb my face. Dr. Panine was no nonsense. He didn't really consult with me. I told him that I wanted my crow's feet done and he did it in a matter of 10 minutes. He also told me that this little patchy dry spot on my temple was not cancer. Hoo-ray! I'd heard about the slippery slope of plastic surgery, botox, and fillers so I guess it's no surprise that I'm increasingly bothered by the remaining wrinkles under my eyes and the deep nasolabial lines around my mouth. I sense more botox in my future and possibly a couple of vials of Juvederm to shave a few years off my face. I promise I'll stop before Carrot Top syndrome sets in.
