Met Kevin, the Owner, who's been in business since the heyday of collecting in the 80's. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and didn't mind taking time to answer questions, which I had plenty of since the collecting industry had changed so much since I stopped. Over the next 3 years I bought numerous hobby products from Kevin. When COVID hit in 2020, the industry went crazy and caused prices to skyrocket. Kevin remained true and offered prices well below what he could of asked for at the time. I asked him about it and he told me he'd seen numerous highs and lows in the industry, and he wanted to take care of his loyal customers who would always come back. I have a great deal of respect for Kevin, and while I have stopped collecting new cards (I just purchase vintage), I still stop by from time-to-time to say hello. He no longer sells sports cards because the distributors got too greedy, and he didn't want to pass those excessive costs to his customers. He still sells comics though, and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with anyone who stops by. It's a small shop and if he doesn't have something you're looking for, he has years of connections and will either find a way to get it or point you in the right direction. If you're in the area, stop on by and take a look. You'll feel welcomed and want to come back. Not enough places like this anymore.

I spent several minutes chatting with the cashier about the new Transformers series and why it's hitting so well, while another staff member checked in and recommended a few books I hadn't even heard of. This place feels like a local bar for comic fans, except instead of drinks you're deep into comic talk and shop news. The variety here is fantastic. The wall is lined with new releases and current titles, there's a strong selection of graphic novels, and the middle of the store is packed with long boxes full of back issues, including great deals like 50-cent bins, variant covers, and bundle finds. There's just so much cool stuff to look through. Benicia is lucky to have a comic shop like this, and whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to stop by. It's a down-to-earth, no-frills comic store that's simply a joy to visit.

I recently got back into collecting cards and so I always saw this place. I always wanted to check…read moreit out since I moved to Antioch over 4 years ago but I never really had the time to do so. I needed some top loaders for my cards and so I stopped in. Place took me back to days gone by when I walked in. I instantly remembered where there use to be card and comic shop all over towns around the Bay like this one here. There is some real cool stuff in there. Met Ralf the owner. He is a real cool dude and a straight shooter. I really enjoyed talking to him. Down to earth dude that won't BS you. He gave me a really good deal on the top loaders he had. I will be back as I enjoyed my experience here.

They've got a bit of everything - apparel, fandom gear, vinyl,…read morecassettes, CDs, current books, vintage books, collectible editions, signed editions, newspapers and magazines, clearance items, games (both tabletop and console)....not sure if I'm missing anything else. They also buy! There's a nicely-stocked kids area, and clean bathrooms as well. Friendly service too. If you're interested in different editions (Easton Press, Illumicrate, FairyLoot, etc.), there's a special section, but sometimes they have them in the regular shelves. While the prices are certainly lower than retail for these editions, they are about on par with what you could find on eBay. Still, it's nice to be able to see and hold the editions first!
