Walked in, no greetings, few customers inside but decisions kind of hard so we stayed for couple of minutes until we decided to fall in line, got couple of their Santa Chocolates, their Lunar Chocolates, some discounted coin chocolates and lollipops, variety chocolates and football assorted mini chocolates. We planned of ordering 5 boxes of 3 lbs (each) of assorted chocolates but there was a couple ahead of us, kind of Karen attitude .. There were only 2 workers but waiting in line for more than 20 mins was ridiculous.. I know we have to wait since there was this couple finishing their 2 lbs chocolates but 20 mins? or even more? Since there were 2 staff, One of them should have dropped focusing on this 1 customer and should have helped the next in line so in that way txhe line will be faster and that both customers will be attended to.. Just over all, poor execution of customer service, lack of PR . You are too overwhelmed helping someone ordering 2 lbs when we had (supposedly) more order to give your business.. Just because of poor service + a karen customer who thought she owned the line, we just decided to walk out and take our business somewhere else, this store just lost almost $500 profit for that day from us.. Next time, train your staff on how to accommodate more than 1 customer.. this happened Saturday, the 27th of December around lunch hour

I go here all the time and ive never had a problem. It was the simplest thing. "Can you return this to me at full price without a receipt" she told me not without the form of payment. I said okay and kept it till I figured out what it was on. After figuring it out I asked the cashier can I return this, this was the form of payment. She says yes very simple. The item was $10 she handed me $1 I said I paid $10 for this item?? She said oh sorry its on sale noww so I have to ask someone to help me. I waited while 2 ladies went back n forth yelling across the store and just kept telling me to wait. Finally she tells me yeah sorry its our policy we cant take back a return so I said thats fine, it is what it is but I only returned it believing I would get full price or else I would have just kept the item and sold it for more than $1. As I'm walking out she says "I really dont care you can take it and the $1" as if the $$ was the issue??? The issue was I would have kept it if I would only get $1 back. Then you go back n forth with all these people and have me wait with my toddler son and act frustrated when I seem impatient. She really could have easily said sorry its too late I can't do anything about it and I would have taken the loss. The communication and attitude is the problem, to me and to her teammates.

Usually I don't see these selections at other GO stores. Additionally, there was a big inventory of Pillsbury Gluten-Free Flour, Asian ingredients, lots of "unheard of" wines and more cider selections than other stores. With the nice selection of meats and cheeses that pair well with wine, I would definitely return.

There are convenience stores with a similar selection. They have a selection of liquor, locked up on the other side of the aisle. The Safeway on the other side of town has a far more extensive selection and puts this place to shame. The only advantage here, is that their prices are less than Safeway. So they get that extra star. They haven't made much of an investment on the grocery side either since there is no fresh meat or seafood counter, deli, or bakery. There's a very small produce department and all of the refrigerated/freezer aisles are very short. To make things even more inconvenient, you cannot buy alcohol at their self check out. Looks like I'll be making that trip to Safeway afterall.

There are thoughtful groupings of featured books by category, vibe and aesthetic. It made me want to buy everything.
