Not to mention she gives the best scalp massages, this is really why I get haircuts! ‍ Another thing I really appreciate is that they have a front desk person. They notify the stylist you've arrived so you don't have to wait long and they help with payments and appointment scheduling. I get text reminders when I have an appointment coming up. I've bought product here and been happy with it too. Probably most important and what you're interested in--the price feels reasonable. I can come and walk out with both a cut and a tip for around $50. This, aside from my relationship with my stylist, is one of the main reasons I've consistently returned. The first time I got my haircut, which was the same time I dyed my hair, I mentioned it was uneven but the way my hair was cut previously, when she would check it, it look like it was cut evenly. When I woke up and showered the next day, I realized it was pretty uneven and I called them and they told me I could come in and get it fixed for free. They were very helpful and listened to my suggestions about how I wanted my hair and then did the best they can to give me what I wanted.

I made an appointment for the bang trim and consultation and met Porshia. She was super nice during the consult so I decided to book the up-do with her. Since I'm really picky I showed her exact pictures of what I want it to look like (Penelope Cruz's side chignon) - I had the front, side and back pics. I was very particular about the way the hair twists in the back. The end result was better than I imagined. I was so happy... I did not even know it was possible for my hair to look that nice! The hair held up for the next 8 hours during the hectic day - because Porshia had used like 30 bobby pins to put it all together! Nobody could even tell (including me LOL). Given the awesome job Porshia did, I went back to get my asymmetrical bob cut after the wedding (Hebe Tian's short hair style). I showed her some pictures and she asked me what it is that I like about the hair. This is the first time a hair stylist has asked me that - it goes to show she really wants to understand not just WHAT I want but WHY. This level of detail obviously paid off. Since I'm blind without glasses, I could not see the entire time she was cutting my hair. From the minute I walked in the door, the energy was high and it really felt like the staff enjoyed one another. There was good energy buzzing throughout the space. She sees all manner of hoo-ha daily. So...I said the hell with it, flung my pants off, and she went to work. Conversation flowed easily, there was laughter, and before I knew it the hair was gone. It wasn't completely painless...but it was my first time after all. It wasn't the most painful thing I've experienced at all. It was over in under half an hour. I was give tips on after care as well. I could not be more pleased with my decision, and I will definitely be returning!
