This was my first visit to the north Indianapolis location. It was bustling for a Friday afternoon and the chairs were nearly full! Emily was my stylist and she was FANTASTIC! Loved all the tips she provided on how to work with my hair, she gave a great wash and scalp massage, and my blowout style came out so great!! Excited to have this great space to treat yourself and recharge your energy and style so close to home! I can't wait to return!

Sat in restaurant next door and decided I would make an appointment for Drybar next door. It was 2:45pm. Next available appointment was at 3:15pm and lots of openings after that according to their website. Rather than book online, I just jumped up and walked next door. I walked in and asked if I could get a blowout at 3:15pm. Receptionist response, "nah". -pause- I said, "May I book online since there seems to be a lot of openings this afternoon on your website?" She says, "no, our online system and our store booking system do not match up." Be careful booking online, apparently it will say they have lots of appointments when they do not.

My first time trying Drybar today. I had Saturn as my stylist today. She washed, blow dried and styled my hair. With the length of my hair (and I have extensions), it was about and hour and a half. She did a fantastic job. I definitely will be back. Thank you!

From coming in with a messy bun to leaving like this- I'd say it's a win.

My friend wanted us to have our hair done for her rehearsal dinner- so we started the day off at the DryBar. I needed my hair washed and was offered a ten minute head massage for an additional price. I normally would have upgraded because #treatyoself but the girl was already hurting my head with the normal wash. She was pretty intense and it was not enjoyable (hence why I'm only giving 4 stars). One we went to the chair for the style we talked about two different looks and which would be better for me. I felt great leaving and my hair was beautiful for the rest of the day! I'll be back before the next wedding I attend!

Lots of fly always and still frizzy at the ends

I came in about 15 minutes early all of the stylist who were working with their customers just stared at me then looked back at their chair then back at me and back to the chair. It was an awkward semi-staring contest no hi, hello, or someone will be here in a second. A few minutes later someone came out and introduced me to my stylist. She was nice and very friendly and knowledgeable. We started shampooing my hair and i asked for an additional mask which was an additional $10 on top of the treatment and style I booked for. Everything smelled amazing and our conversation went pretty well. I brought up the champagne and she just said yeah they serve it. It was kind of disappointing since that was the experience i was looking forward to. When she started styling my hair she was doing a different style and I reminded her which one i wanted to go with. She quickly fixed it and said we can straighten it afterwards. I think she styled it well and the softness and smell were great. There were a lot of fly always, the mask didn't make a difference at all, and the style lasted for about a day. Overall I was more excited to give dry bar a chance and was disappointed with the outcome. I would never pay $80 for an experience like this again. Drybar is fabulous! I went once last summer for a fun girls day with my sister and again to get dry styling and braids for a 5K I am running. I love that they now have a cheaper dry styling option - $25 plus $10 for each braid. All I had to do was wash and dry my hair at home and they did the rest. The wash/style experience is very relaxing but sometimes you don't always NEED the full package (like today) and it is just the perfect set up. My hair looks fabulous and I've gotten tons of compliments already.

Talk about feeling pampered! My manager told me about Drybar and I decided to check it out in preparation for a photo shoot. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted and offered a variety of beverages (I close Champagne). I instantly fell in love with the style of the place. The white, clean lines accented with bright, vibrant yellow was so stunning! My stylist was fantastic and efficient. She took the time to ask me what I was looking for and recommended a style that fit the occasion perfecrly. There are few things better than getting your hair washed so I was clearly in heaven. The products were great and so creatively named and packaged. I was in and out in under an hour and had a beautiful hairstyle that lasted all night! If you haven't tried it out yet, it's definitely worth the money for a special event!

A gorgeous blow-out for a gorgeous summer day!

Drybar is one of those special occasion luxuries (although, and this is just between you and me, it was a biweekly occurrence for me for a time there). It's where you feel pampered, completely, from the moment you walk in the door - usually. The Indianapolis branch is no different. Located in a strip mall near the Fashion Mall Commons, the outside is unassumingly simply. Walk in, though, and it's a different world: yellow and white everywhere, rom-coms on television, bridal parties, prepping for the perfect bachelorette...the list goes on. I was won over the minute my first stylist offered me a complimentary drink - who can say no to that? I love that the salon is all about blow-outs so because of this, they know how to give a GREAT blow-out. Complete with product, some casual entertainment, and no harm, no foul, I'm usually in and out within the hour! While I haven't been back post-pandemic, I have no doubt that on a day of pampering, Drybar is where I'll be headed next.

My daughter and I both got our hair done for a Mother's Day treat. My daughter liked that she got to choose the show she watched although she couldn't hear it. I was not very impressed. I got a very rushed wash, my hair was blown dry but no brushes were used to try and add volume so it was really flat. I then got a very quick curl and I was sent on my way. My hair fell out after a few hours and honestly my hair looked like I did it at home. There was nothing special, I could had saved the money. They only way I could see thins being worth it is if you needed an updo or you are the type of person who never does your hair to begin with otherwise, I'll be saving my money next time. My daughter was cute while it lasted but again, didn't look any different then how we do it at home. I would had like to feel pampered and had some volume in my hair but instead I felt rushed out and as if I wasted $200.

So for months I have driven by Drybar thinking it is a great concept. I just thought it was a great concept for white women. I never thought they catered to my hair type until today.. I woke up on a Sunday wanting my naturally curly texture hair straight. I started googling and came across Drybar. They were open and said they could fit me in same day. I will say the call center is out of the country, but is appears to work. Anyways, I made an appointment and showed up on time at Drybar. Quickly my stylist, Hailey greeted me and talked to me about different styles. She never seemed scared of my hair. She washed and then styled me. At first I was worried because my hair was caught in the brush. After about 15 mins, Hailey found her way and my hair looked amazing! She blew it out then curled it. My hair was left straight but soft. Polished yet playful! I was so impressed. The cost was only $45 plus tip. My hair looks fanatic! I am writing this review to encourage women with all hair types to give this place a chance. They are doing great work!

This my first visit and I will be back. I needed a style for going out for my anniversary. Tiffany did my blowout and curl. She gave me much wanted volume. The products smelt great and kept my hair curled from afternoon until evening. Extremely satisfied. They sell clear dry shampoo so I purchased that too.

I called her and left a voicemail, and she called back and left a voicemail a day later. I called her back a couple days after that and left another voicemail... and didn't hear back for 2 weeks. I had to try 3 more times to finally get a hole of her. Normally by that point I would have given up but I paid for the gift certificate and didn't want to lose it. When I made it to the salon for my finally-schedueled appointment, it was very nice. I wasn't greeted super promptly but within a couple minutes, and I was offeredf a glass of water, wine, or beer. i took the wine (of course). My stylist was running about 10 minutes late but no one bothered to tell me. What saved this review is the awesome job that Rachel did on my hair. It really looks beautiful. Perfectly placed highlights and nice long layers with lots of movement and bounce. The styling lasted all day as well. Each stylist sets their own prices as well, so I don't know what's normal there as far as prices, hours, and services offers. My total was $130 for the highlights and cut, then the $50 off. For the qualiy of the work I think it was a fair price. I may or may not go back depending on how hard it is to get a hold of her again!

Told her I had no idea, other than I wanted a little zing of color - maybe something underneath? And she helped me pick a color and a gameplan. We did just a hint of this gorgeous red/purple/cherry cola-ish color underneath, and a medium brown to cover up a few of my grays (I mean, a few of my strands of glitter, lol) And then she put a couple long soft layers in (havent had layers like , ever, and was very apprehensive). I think it turned out great. I'm already thinking about how we might up the game next time I go back. :) Pricewise, we came out to $155 (before tip) for the cut & color, which included a $40 conditioning treatment. Not sure if that treatment its somehtign I'll need every time, but it was worth doing this time. Also, Cianna recommend some hair care and products but did not push a hard sell (which was very nice). The salon was pretty busy when I was there (a Friday afternoon) and all the other clients looked like they were getting great cuts/colors as well. Since it was my first time there, I have nothing to compare but I *think* maybe some of the salon was a little under construction - maybe a bit of a remodel, becuase the seating area under the dyers and some of the area area around the washing station was a little cramped (not "spa" feeling) - but based on other reviews about hte atmosphere, I'm guessing this might be temporary. Very pleased with Cianna (and also Sierra at the desk) and already have my next appt set in 8 weeks! #ReviewsByRL

ON Another note, I must say that there were a few stylist in the back and at the shampoo bowl that were extremely loud and I'm not sure what was being said as it was in Spanish and at first I thought maybe these were other clients, no it actually was the stylist talking to each other in Spanish and extremely loudly and for long periods of time! they didn't seem to be aware about any of the other clients in the salon. All of the stylist seem to be doing shampoos and color which all looked awesome, but if the volume at the bowl would have been quieter while I was in my chair, I would have been more relaxed. I will return although because I loved my hair.
