I absolutely love a free day where I have time to go and just walk around World Market! Such amazing,unique items that makes you feel you've been transported overseas.I generally stick to the food and drinks but they also have rugs,soap,small furniture items as well. I've always been a fan of World Market and I make the 30 minutes drive to visit his store whenever I'm in OKC. The store tends to be a bit messy whenever I'm there, which is a mild turn off, but not enough to stop going. I especially like visiting around Christmas, they always bring in lovely decor and vintage candies. read more

I read on facebook that there are loads of British goodies at World Market so I got the husband to drive us to Norman to check it out. I tried not to expect too much for fear of getting a major disappointment because, so far, British groceries are easier to find back in Bangkok (being half British I never really missed England much when I lived in Bangkok). I'm delighted to report that I was able to get my hands on a number of things I've been craving. Although the groceries section was smaller than I'd hoped, there were a few essential English items (like Marmite and Branston pickle ), and everything else in the store made it quite an experience. Plenty of things to look around and lots of jolly Christmas items too Will be going back often! read more

The perfect place to buy unique spices, sauces, candies, dust catchers, accessories and kitchen gadgets. They also have dishes, furniture, a coffee making section and more. Price point for common items runs a tad higher here than most stores in the area. Where Cost Plus shines is the selection of unique imported goods from around the world. Things and treats you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the metro or greater OKC area. Because of this I would recommend World Market for gift shopping. I bought a lot of spices and chocolate today. Yesterday I was at the store for the opening and had trouble shopping because it was p-a-c-k-e-d. Today the store was still busy but the shopping experience was pleasant. Overall the store is clean. Has unique things and treats. Nice and eager staff. Good hours. Good location. So if you're a consumer then checking Cost Plus out is worth it. read more

I absolutely love this store! Decided to take my aunt here after spending time in downtown OKC. *Note to self, drive to Norman before or after traffic for the OU game! Nevertheless, it was worth the drive even in football traffic. This place is perfect for finding unique gifts for the hard to shop person or the ones that have everything. I mean who doesn't need giant teeth magnets or sweet treats! From wines and beers around the world to stylish furniture, they have it all! The only draw back is for us that live further North in OKC. I hope we get one but will definitely make the drive to Norman! read more

First I want to say thanks to Oklahomans who voted to modernize our liquor laws to allow the sale of wine and strong beer in outlets other than liquor stores! Now that our old silly law is out of the way we can welcome amazing retailers like Cost Plus World Market to our great state. I could do cartwheels I'm so excited!! We shopped at CPWM each time we drove to Dallas/Houston and it's so nice to have a local store to visit. Cost Plus has a little something for every person, every room and every holiday/special occasion! My favorite section of the store is the world food and wine (obviously!) but there is so much more. From deliciously scented candles to soft quilts, pillows in every shape & size and kitchen gadgets galore. I adore their home furniture and huge selection of chairs. Great for when you want to add some variety to your shopping experience. I typically frequent the marketplace and find foods, spices, drinks (tea, coffee, soda, wine, etc.) that I wouldn't generally find at other more mainstream stores. Great store service as well. Prices are mostly moderate but don't be shocked if you find rare items at a high price. Check out their kitchenware and furniture also. This store is so much fun! Every time I come in here I see new things that I must own. I found a jacket that is too much fun - I feel like an alpaca or a woman from Peru or just someone totally styling every time I wear it. In fact, I've gotten tons of compliments from wearing it. I found a cool women's puzzle but alas, my family does not do puzzles. The food items from around the world are simply wonderful. It's like going into an international bazaar. I really enjoy this store! There is so much to see! We love all the unique products you can find. A lot of things from different areas of the world. Their furniture offerings are nicely designs and seem to hold up well. They have cute place settings, and dining chairs. There is a lot of different food options from around the world. Excited that there is one in Norman, OK!! It saves me a trip of driving down to Dallas,TX. The store is well lit and clean. The staff was very friendly!! I love this store because of the variety of food, tea, drinks, snacks that they offer. Sometimes you can't get the items from other places. I love the home area because you can find the cutest little nicknacks. Wish they had more selection of wine compared to the other WM stores that I've been too but I know they just opened. The wine prices are reasonable priced, depending on what kind you're getting. read more

Cost Plus World Market in Norman? YES! This is actually the first time I've ever heard about this store but after some research, I see it's very popular in places like California. As soon as I walked in, I was actually very impressed. I didn't know where to start first but I definitely went towards the wine and the food isles. The wine selection here varies from color to flavor and all other categories. A couple steps over and I found the cider but not just any cider, Austin EastCiders! This particular brand is just so delicious. It blends exotic flavors with the cider crips to make a can of love. I kept seeing people huddle over this one isle and when I walked over, I realized it was the sweets. Props to Cost Plus World Market for having a good portion of the Kinder collection which is very hard to find. I usually get these candies imported from Puerto Rico. Moving on, I stumbled upon the furniture. It was cute. Very but very pinterest-y. But I was more interested in the candles. Spent about half an hour smelling every candle I could get my hands on. I love the all the variety of candle pours they had. Curious to try the bath flower melts along with the bath salts. Their employees were super sweet and entertaining. There wasn't a question they weren't willing to answer or find an answer to. Now, will I come back to shop? Yes! I want to what else they have to offer as the holidays push by. My first trip to this new store was exciting! The store was packed so we were unable to see everything! I saw many employees helping customers but I did not interact with any! There was a free coffee sample by the front door and at the back of the store in the coffee area! Lots of seasonal goods for Christmas were on display! The wearables and jewelry were all reasonably priced and not what you would see in most stores! Overall I thought the layout was good but I will need another visit to see the whole store! read more
