It was his willingness to work around my schedule and ultimately by replacing 20-plus dual pane argon filled windows, without damaging my stucco and or interior wooden shutters. Jason replaced my windows by replacing the glass inserts without altering the frames! During this process (completed in one day)!!!! I decided to have him install two shower doors, a full size tub as well as full size walk-in shower. Both showers door's are of 3/8th thickness, very solid, high end product and with a crew of professionals to complete an accurate and one time install. Jason and crew are Pro's, personable, approachable and an honest hard working group of guys! Jason works with suppliers to reduce cost, expedite deliveries and fight for me when scheduling became an issue. I waited 2 weeks…read moreto see if the sentiment would fade, but it didn't and here I am sharing one of the greatest finds on yelp. I recently purchased a house in San Jose. One bathroom was made to be handicapped accessible. There was no shower enclosure, so water from the shower would hit everything from the toilet to the walls. There were also handrails along the walls, which added to the difficulty of adding an enclosure. I had a few quotes previous to Boyd. There was expensive quotes. There were also designs that didn't seem to make sense given the lack of space. In the end, I chose Boyd because of design knowledge, speed in installing (installed the same week as the quote, because it was standard materials), and price. Boyd came in, expressed opinions I thought were very useful (ie. which way the shower door should open), and also put to rest any questions I had about fitting or sizing of the shower (because of the 1/2" gap from handrail to window frame). He was always responsive when I called with any addition questions. On top of this, he also called back a week after installation to check up since he was in town.

I requested replacement of a bathroom mirror that had a 6 inch crack coming up from the base of…read morethe mirror. The mirror was 48 x 42 and poor quality, plus an ugly stain at the base from the original installation. Banks Glass sent a 2 person crew, Cody & Liam to measure. They explained the removal process that would be used. Very thorough explanation. The replacement mirror had to be ordered and, upon arrival, was inspected and an install date was set up. The installers, Jake and Pete, arrived at 8:00 a.m. and began the task of removing the old mirror. A bit of a job removing the old mirror as it split where the long crack had appeared, thus ending up coming off in large pieces. Never the less, they worked efficiently and professionally and had the new mirror up and installed beautifully. They cleaned everything, vacuuming thoroughly for any pieces of old mirror that may have fallen. Cleaned the new mirror thoroughly. I highly recommend Banks Glass for any glass installation/ replacement. Very professional, excellent staff and installers, well trained and experienced. I also feel the price was very fair.
