French Onion Soup Gratinee
Adriana D.

Everything was amazing!! One of the best parts was the many options of desserts. Each one sounded better and better than the previous one. We got the nutella soufflé and it did not disappoint. It was gone in 2mins! The onion soup and the pesto gnocchi were also amazing.

Lobster Ravioli

We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. My friend and I shared the Lobster Ravioli and Honey Roasted Salmon. Both were absolutely delicious. The flavor was great and the salmon was cooked the perfect amount. It's definitely a fancy place - as the quality is high, but the portions are not large. Overall, service was excellent as well!

Delicious food. Kid friendly family restaurant - very warm staff and great service. We got humus dish appetizer, pasta and fish for entrees and white wine. Kids shared a burger with fries for dinner. Everything tasted very yummy. Great Ambiance, and really good service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Linguine alle Vongole - Delicious and light

Ate here 2 days in a row it was so good! There are enough items on the menu to eat here for almost a week and not be bored. Some of the dishes it was hard to believe they were so good. Personal favorite had to be the Gnocchi in pesto and the Ceviche. The Gnocchi was the most delicate and flavorful version I think I've ever had. The ceviche also had so many layers of flavor, it really stands out amongst others I've had in Sofla. Wasn't a huge fan of the mussels which is most just because of the sourcing. Has a stronger flavor than I prefer, but they were cooked nicely. Also didn't think I would love the Chipirons, but the way they grill and spice them is really nice, could've eaten a second plate for sure! The Eifle tower is also a staple there, the goat cheese was so creamy it really paired well with the veggies. Also the staff here are very accommodating and create a nice atmosphere for dining at dinner or lunch. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Jumbo Fresh Wild Caught Scallops Over Pumpkin Puree and an Apricot and lberic Ham Chutney

Intimate and peaceful atmosphere. Friendly, inviting, and attentive wait staff. And a menu with unique and endless options. This place is a must-visit for any foody. The French onion soup is generously portioned, savory, and delicious. It was painfully difficult to choose an entree. Having already been familiarized with the decadent assortment of ravioli during my last visit to Costa Med, I decided to go with the seared scallops over pumpkin and iberic ham & apricot chutney which was to die for. Talk about an explosion of flavor! And the perfect finish, the rich and famous guava soufflé. Perfection in every bite. Special thank you to Antonio for the hospitality and the incredible wait staff Tanya, Daniel, Jose, Jimena, Cristian, Sol and of course the handsome and charming Nicolás. 5 Stars! I will definitely be back.

Mahi special in coconut milk with pesto. Light and so delicious!

4.5 stars Very nice experience here and have wanted to try this restaurant for awhile. I tried their mahi special in coconut milk with pesto sauce. So light and delicious along with the accompanying cous cous. I would order this again. Beautiful ambiance on the patio in a quiet shopping center in Key Biscayne. Service was also very good. Can't wait to come back.

Excellent experience today at Costa Med. From the safety precautions they take to the quality of every dish, specially the squid ink fettuccine in a spicy lobster sauce and the fantastic service by Harold...second to none!!! Hospitality at the highest level!!!

I came here for valentine's day. This is just another restaurant in Miami that you pay for location and reviews. Place is really small and tight that you can hear peoples conversation. Food wasn't wow, and over priced. I ordered lobster ravioli, or better to say 5 piece of ravioli with small chunks of lobster for 28.00 No special seasoning, no special flavor, nothing new. Just over priced pasta with lobster. I have tried Carrabba's lobster ravioli, and was way better. Carrabba is a italian food chain, which shouldn't be better than a mid-high end restaurant. Also, tried the crab cakes. They should be 15.00 not 19.00, because 3 small pieces thst were Way too cooked. It came with 3 1/4 tablespoon of jalapeno, mango and peper sauce on the side. Service was whatever, nothing special. They even forgot to give us fork and knife to eat with bread, so bread was there for minutes. If you really want a tasteful experience , this is not the place for you. Sorry owner, but my experience in your restaurant was below average. 18% gratuity included is robbing customers. I would have left 1.00 dollar to such bad service.

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

I sat at the bar with my husband and heard the bartender, Phillip taking repeated orders of old fashioned and espresso martini. I saw a table polishing glasses and glasses of wines and then came the surprise - their selections! Their selections were smaller than expected but thoughtfully chosen. We asked Phillip for his recommendations, along the lines of red & bold. He gladly pointed us to a wine that was not on the menu. It seems they offer a menu selection and off-menu/rotating selection from unique wine regions. We had a red blend from China (yes that's correct, it surprised me equally). But then I realized, I haven't had wines from most of the regions they offer and the curiosity sets in. Looking forward to explore the menu and off-menu selection.
