I am so happy to have been introduced to Vinya for the first time by friends on Saturday during their Patio Pounders Grand Tasting event! What a great opportunity to get to know a small business with a huge heart! Allegra was on top of every single detail & everyone involved in making this event a pleasure left me anxious for the next one! So pleasantly surprised with the bites provided but the selection of wines & sommeliers at hand was SO impressive. The true testament to this event was the amount of times we heard Allegra's name being mentioned over & over again by the wine reps at each table... "Allegra's own private picks" or "Allegra's top choice" or "Allegra's favorite". This is how you know a small business will continue to succeed - when those that are there representing their own brands know the owners first hand! Beautiful staff, beautiful day, beautiful set up! I participated in their Grand Tasting Spring Edition, early May. This is my second time coming to the event and it was just as fun, and well organized. I think the food offered this year was also better. They had a great variety and a good amount which was great given the amount of wines on the tasting menus. Curated by the very knowledgeable owner and sommelier Alegra. I don't personally know her but her staff's adoration of her only ingratiated the event that much more. It sounded like she really took time and care into curating this lovely event. Overall there were 16 tables with anywhere from 4-10+ wines to try from all around the world. I think it's so cute how they also have a scavenger hunt and loved that the first table was a spin-the-bottle. Very creative. The special prices for the wines were also a great touch along with tags describing the wines as, "old school," or "delicioso." The selection of wines in the store was just as impressive as the ones being showcased for the event. All in all, this is a great establishment that also holds wonderful events. read more

Surprisingly good food in a strip mall restaurant. The service was not amazing (the waiter either gave no attention, or was rushing us, and even took the plate away while I was still eating). The appetizers were not small, you can have one as your main if not too hungry. I came in right off the beach, ate inside and was treated as if I had been rocking one of my threads from Austin Burke's :) While they do have outside seating, I was welcomed to sit inside in air conditioned comfort. After an impromptu beach trip to nearby Cape Florida, I was pretty hungry. I found Vinya in a strip mall on the main highway out, and decided to stop by. A wine shop / restaurant, I also bought a bottle of Moscato d'Asti to enjoy at home. Foodwise: what's better after a beach day than a burger? Very few things for a meathead. Thus I enjoyed their Vinya burger. Start off with a juicy portion of American Wagyu with a smoky flavor that seeps into the runny egg. Place that on a fluffy bun and spike with a spicy sweet chipotle sauce. Mix in some thick cut house fries, also seasoned with either classic ketchup or the aforementioned chipotle. Sweeten your tastebuds with their fluffy key lime pie garnished with blueberries. Pair all of that with friendly service, great people watching and vino. Don't feel like vino? Their lemonade mock tail is great to hydrate. They also have stronger stuff. read more

This is my new favorite Saturday night spot. This restaurant/wine market is such a unique, fun environment for all diners. They even give you the option of purchasing a wine bottle at market prices for consumption at the restaurant, for only a $15 corkage fee. For dinner, our server, Johnny, made our night. He gave excellent recommendations and was very attentive the entire night. Thanks to him, we found all our favorite menu items. We will definitely be back soon! read more

I went to this place for an event and I had a wonderful time. It's located on a shopping center so you can park for free on the parking lot. They have a nice bar and they also have a room for events. The wine market was simply outstanding. I felt like a little kid in Disney. read more

This spot was a fantastic place for a dinner with friends. All four of us were in love with the cute, cozy ambiance of the place which also serves as a wine shop. The waitress we had was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection to make a good pairing. And the food was spectacular. We had several items, my favorites being the lamb baklava, the branzino, the rib eye, and the bacon wrapped dates. The mango pavlova was also ridiculously good - so many textures and flavors- it was one of th best pavlovas I've had in Miami. The rest of the food was good too though. Vinya, was definitely an experience. We almost didnt get a seat because we booked the wrong place but the host was kind enough to get us a table on busy Friday evening. We had the empanadas and bacon wrapped dates as apps. Those dates were so so so good. We tried the gnocchi, which was not bad, but I wouldnt be able to eat a whole plate of that. The burger was absolutely amazing. We coudnt stop talking about that burger all weekend. It made it to our top 3 burgers. $25, we were tempted to do it again. But its definitely one try again. Next time I want to come more prepared, drink wine, a few apps and get back to my burger. The cheesecake was not so bad, not the texture I am used to on a cheesecake, the compote was delicious, the honey ice cream was amazing, nice touch. Service over all was okay, I didnt like how our dinner plates were served so far apart in time. We didnt get to eat dinner together, infact my friend was told to start eating because it would take too long for the next plate to come out. That we didnt like, very odd. But it is what it is, maybe it was just how busy the night was. The ambiance is cool, i really liked the little room in the back. I'd say I'd prefer to eat there even though its next to the kitchen. A fun buzzy place that's a good place for a cocktail, glass or bottle of wine and a bite. We stopped in on a Monday night and enjoyed splitting both an order of grilled artichokes and one of the best burgers ever. A delicious DR cocktail and a solid martini topped off the meal. Love this place- its our favorite go to local spot. They have the best happy hour with tasty cocktails and a really fun atmosphere. My go to cocktails are the 'That James Taylor Song' which has- Mezcal, Amaro, Framboise & Grapefruit Zest- which is on their happy hour menu. They also make a good sangria! What is great about this place is that you can shop for your own bottle of wine to have with dinner there. They only charge a small corkage fee and they have an excellent Sommelier named Allergra. They also host fun events like wine tastings, oyster events, themed nights and more. Some of my favorite menu items include the black garlic shrimp, steamed mussels with gorgonzola cream & coffee powder (yum), Vinya Burger with American Wagyu by Meat n' Bone, Swiss, Bacon, Fried Egg, Caramelized Onion, Truffle Aioli, Brioche & the four cheese gnocchi. All excellent and great for sharing. The cheese board is also really great but sometimes its better than others. The first time we had the board it was fabulous as it was full of amazing options. The other few times we had it, it was a little lack luster as it was a not as impressive of a spread- my advice is to ask what they have currently for the board before you order. I definitely could of stayed the entire night! The flavor combinations of all the cocktails were delicious, thoughtful and beautifully executed. Before we decided to lounge I had to browse all the wines & spirits. We were in wine paradise & the vault was a wine enthusiasts dream! Even the spirits were unique & I could of stayed just to soak up the knowledge from the owner, Allegra. I completely forgot we were in a wine market as it transformed into a social lounge with pies by one of the best, Fireman Derek's, their FLAN was the best thing I've had. We also had light bites & everything was delicious! My favorite was the bacon wrapped dates. Towards the end of the event we did a final browse & made our purchases. Came in around 4 on a Saturday and sat at the bar for a drink and app before heading in to Miami for dinner. The drinks were expertly mixed and delicious. The short rib empanadas and bacon wrapped dates were amazing! Bartender was friendly. Hubby and I watched in disbelief as an older gentleman came in to return a bottle of wine he had opened but didn't like. A friend invited me to a wine event in the back room. I thought it would be a stuffy crowd with a super snobby sommelier in the back of a wine shop. To my great surprise and delight, I had so much fun. It was interactive, (we played games) and the somm (Allegra) was down-to-earth and funny. Will definitely be back for other events!! Went to Vinya Wine and Market for the first time and LOVED IT! The staff was so attentive and the decor is gorgeous. I loved how it's a bar as well as a market. We ordered the Vinya burger and the empanadas which were both delicious. Also found out that you can host private events there as well! This is definitely the new hot spot in Key Biscayne. We reserved but when we arrived they refused to give us the area we reserved in and didn't even offer an apology or explanation. It was a Saturday night so impossible to reserve anywhere else. I really do like Vinya for a glass of wine and a quick bite like a charcuterie plate or small app, I just can't recommend them for dinner. The food was ok, nothing that I could possibly rave about. The burger felt dry and mediocre, my wife had the gnocchi and found it underwhelming.
