In a town where it seems like a lot of restaurants struggle to get enough customers, Costa Vida is always busy. But not too busy -last time I went it there was quite a line for the drive-through but there were only 2 people in front of us in line inside. We love the food -especially the salads. My only complaint is that getting a side of rice for our young daughter with our meals is always expensive and further still the cup is always under-filled. Every time I go the employees aren't very attentive or nice. They put barely any meat or lettuce on the salads and forget stuff. Now that I've moved out of Brigham area I really miss this Costa Vida. All the Costa Vidas by me out terrible compared to this one. I was pregnant so we came here a lot! There was nothing better then sweet pork salad. When I came in they were always friendly and nice. They always got my order correct and never messed up. Also they would pile my salad high just like I like it. They always had wheat tortillas like I like were never out. Wow! Such a disappointment that I have to give one of my favorite fast food restaurants a poor rating but people should know how filthy this place is. I have dined at several Costa Vida restaurants in Utah and Idaho and they've all been fantastic except the one in Brigham City. Took the kids here on our way to Idaho. Stopped in at 6pm and it was pretty busy. Wyatt took our order and followed up with us afterwards. This is just my second visit to a Costa Vida restaurant and my first one was many years ago. I'm glad I stopped here for lunch. I ordered a small salad with steak. I had some changes and some additions, and they did very well with my order. The salad was very good. The greens were fresh and well cut. The steak was juicy and tender. The beans and guacamole where good. I don't eat dressing or rice so I don't know how those are, but my sister really likes them. I'm going to have to try the Costa Vida by my house. If the salad is as good, it will become my go to restaurant instead of Cafe Rio--since Cafe Rio's quality has gone down hill. read more

Just moved to Brigham City earlier this year. This is the third time I've been to this location and have been extremely disappointed every single time. Once even took the order back because it was so over cooked it was black. When the manager came back with the new meal he was pretty rude about the whole thing. And the replacement had maybe a plastic cup full of meat in it. I have always loved Costa Vida but this location has a rude manager and they give me crappy food every time. First time to Costa Vida the food was pretty tasty. However, I ordered an enchilada and rice. He asked me if I wanted beans. I said no. He asked if I wanted a drink I said no. Looking at their website, an enchilada a la carte is $3.49, rice a la carte is $1.29: total should have been $5.15. They charged me $6.99 for a platter. If I go to McDonalds and order a burger and fries they don't charge me for a combo and just don't give me the drink: I get charged for a burger and fries. Good food; BAD business. Have yet to have a positive experience at this location!! Tonight my daughter had both of her little ones in the car and went thru the drive thru which originally took 20 minutes. When she checked her order, the two tacos she ordered (without cheese because her husband is deathly allergic to dairy) had cheese on them. She was already out of the line so she called and told them the problem and they said she would need to come in or get back in line at the drive thru (even after she told them she had her two toddlers in the car)!! So she got back in line and waited more than 30 minutes this time, only to have the employee argue with her about whether they had cheese! All in all, she spent a total of over an hour there in the frigid temperatures with two little toddlers waiting in the backseat and had to argue with someone who was extremely unhelpful and rude! The food is tasty unfortunately you will rarely get your correct order if you order through the drive-through. We order tonight the salad did not come with dressing and the burritos we ordered had the wrong beans and rice in them. They really need to come up with a better process and double check your orders at the drive-through. I went to costa vida around 7:30 pm and there was no one there at the drive thru and I had ordered online and it took them 20 minutes to even come to the window. Even though I ordered online before I came. I got the food and I went home and everything seemed fine. I started eating my burrito and then I went to take a bite and I bit down on something hard and at first I thought " oh it might just be a not cooked rice" but no. It was A ROCK. A rock. I always go and eat to Costa Vida, and I can say as of today March 13, 2016. The people here are really nice and the manager is amazing. Communicates with customers and handles issues really well. Place is clean and food is prepared really well with no rush. He communicates with his team really well and you can tell that this guy is a good leader. Keep it up! My wife was craving Cafe Rio and instead we went to this Costa Vida... we were so delighted to know that their prices were just as comparable to Cafe Rio, but also they didn't smother their burritos in sauce which usually over powers the taste of the sweet pork. Stopped in when it wasn't busy, the person in front of me ordered shrimp and I did as well. They told us to find a seat and they'd bring it out to us. 20 minutes later and they never brought us anything. The other person went to ask and finally got their shrimp meal but still they never brought me mine. My husband finally went to check on my meal and the cashier said they accidentally forgot about it and that he'd bring it out to us now. He asked us what beans and I said refried. He brought my food a few minutes later with no beans but it had some rice. I asked him to bring me mango salsa and he brought me mango dressing. At that point I just took it and ate my meal after everyone was already done eating. In addition, the cashier took our card with his gloves still on and never changed them when making the next meal and it seemed that when I asked for shrimp no one knew how to make it, they all were asking one employee how to do it. read more

We took relatives visiting from NY to the restaurant, telling them how good this cake was. Unfortunately the cake was not available..they were out! On a Monday evening?? How disappointing! Also the time before that visit, the front glass doors were goobered up with fingerprints. I discounted it as unusual but when we returned weeks later the windows were still just as disgusting. I love coasta Vida and will eat at pretty much any location but I can tell you this cleanliness is top priority for me, I've done a lot of work for this company and this is the cleanest location out there.
