It's a nice little sandwich shop/bakery. The bread is very good! The cookies are just right. The raspberry rolls are fabulous. For someone who hasn't been here before the ordering process is a little confusing, but they were very gracious and helped me at the counter, very kind employees.

Back at Ol' Gris, trying a new hot sandwich today, since the last few times I've always gone with the Turkey Bacon Pesto, and they started to really lack on the amount of pesto sauce on the sandwich. Today I'll give the Chicken Bacon Ranch a try. After dining at other similar restaurants I noticed that Ol' Gris could use some updated fountain drink options- might even be a good idea to start making some specialty lemonades! I think this would make Ol' Gris stand out above other sandwich bakery stops. Review on Chicken Bacon Ranch- similar to Turkey bacon pesto, all I'm tasting in the sauce is mayo... really need to amp up the ranch or pesto- especially if it's in the name.

My wife and I paused here while passing through town, and our visit was well worth our time-and-money. We split a scrumptious chipotle turkey sandwich and a delicious blueberry muffin with white chocolate chips. And we bought some tasty dinner rolls for-the-road. Their prices were surprisingly great for such high-quality food (perhaps in part because they make their own bread), their service was nice, and their ambiance was great. I'd definitely stop here again.

Good food, good price, nice young servers. I'd go back. Their baked bread was particularly good.

Very fast service, good selection of baked goods. They even have frozen items to take home and cook yourself at a later time.

Always something yummy to eat. The mint brownie is always my go to. The ladies were friendly, and the price was fair.

Who in town doesn't love Le Croissant? They participate in the local Farmer's Market and it's been…read more a while but I'm still excited that they have a storefront. They tend to be busy but waits aren't unreasonable. I don't generally eat in the storefront itself, but I think that it's very cute and benefits greatly from being a stone's throw away from Cafe Ibis. This month they have Reubens because it's March and they are phenomenal. (First pic.) Please go try them if you're a Reuben guy. As always their pastries are great.

Their croissants are amazing, the best in the country, award winning, their burrito, well, although good, it lacks a little flavor, but still five stars. Then why two stars? Why? One word, service. Nothing is more frustrating than walking into a food establishment and waiting 30 minutes to pick up two croissants. I walk up to the counter, I point at two beautiful butter croissants sitting right there behind glass, and say, "I'll take those two." The person at the register takes my order, but then doesn't just reach over and place the croissants in a small bag and hand them to you, they put your order in the queue behind ten burrito orders, so now you wait 30 or more minutes to pick up your two croissants. To me, this is absolutely ludicrous. In comes the coffee, now I understand why they have some of the worst coffee in the valley--cold, self-serve, rattle can coffee. They're located right next to the best five star coffee shop in the entire country, Ibis Coffee, so you might think, well, I'll go buy a cup of coffee at Ibis, and a couple wonderful fresh butter croissants at La Croissant. Nope, you'll order your two croissants at La Croissant, walk over to Ibis, order your coffee, sit down, drink your coffee, finish your coffee, and surf Facebook, long before your two croissants are ready for pick up. (No, you're not waiting for them to bake, it just feels like it.) ...and that's why two stars. Their own success and lack of efficiency is their downfall, and why I never go back.
