So this is typically where I stop to fuel up for my trip home when spotting at nearby Travis AFB. Its not easy on easy off of the highway but it does not too much time. Its a medium sized gas station and I typically have not had to wait in line for long. It also is well away fromn the warehouse so it de-conflicts the traffic Its Costco and its gas. What is not to like? That's right UP from 4%, using the Citi Costco card at the Costco gas pump gives you rebates of 5% now. So, if gas if around $4.00 a gal, that gives you back 20 cents a gallon! The Citi Costco card is FREE, no fees and you also get 2% back on all Costco store purchases. It acts as your membership card when you go into the warehouse. The hoses on the pumps a long enough so it doesn't matter what side your tank is on, the hose will reach! The station is clean and all the pumps work well and the scanner for your Costco card works perfect, no multiple tries to get it to scan like those cheap junkie gas stations. Cheapest gas around! Go early, and avoid the lines! I just wish there was stuff to clean your windshield while that tank fills. read more

Pull up, pull out and go! November is when the remodeled gas station reopened. We're now working with 3 pumps per each stall. There's roughly 5 stalls total. Rarely a pump going out of bend. Evenings and weekend prime times can be hectic but most or the time it's a breeze. read more

COSTCO GAS IN FAIRFIELD IS NOW OPEN Just opened up about 3 or so weeks ago. Costco extended the amount of pumps to accommodate the loads of amounts of traffic they get at this loaction. They now have 3 pumps and 8 lanes (total of 24 pumps). They added the light up sighn indicating which pumps are occupied or available. All I'm all it seems to be doing justice against the morning rush hour and the afternoon/weekend hordes!! One of the best locations for a Costco Gas Station. The Costco can be found at the edge of shopping area right off of the freeway. You can take the main road further down straight to the station, no need to drive through the stores main traffic. The entrance is open to all lanes that lead to the pumps, no weird bottle neck like most stations. This Costco in general isn't ever too busy, neither is the station, so the wait is never long. The pumps traffic is one direction and theres 2 pumps in each lane. If you're ever in the area, this is a great station to visit. read more

3/14/19, Since being a Costco member now for eight months, my observation is: always a line and always a wait for Costco gas. That's just the way it is. I know that. I wait in line in my car and think happy thoughts. I'm never in a hurry. I chill. Inch by inch, I creep my auto toward the pump. I made it to the refueling station. I unlocked the gas inlet, got out and began to feed the old gal. Not me, silly! My car! Anyway, I looked about behind me. There I saw the Costco gas lines, all the autos in their row of choice. Their drivers gave me the impression they were chilling. No hazards, no fights or reckless driving was observed. Nice. I gave my old gal all the petrol she would take in, then locked her up and got back in my car. Started the engine and I turned my head back one more time - looked at the cost/gallon & my final charge. Good golly Miss Molly! Whole lotta savings going on! Costco always has the cheapest gas around. This gas station is located at the far end of the parking lot (near the MattressFirm store) with a lot of space to line up. The best time to go to is usually early morning when I first open for late at night before they close if you want to avoid the wait. If you go in the middle of the day, be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes in line. Yes you need a Costco membership card to use this location! read more

We have recently relocated to the US. Someone recommended Costco Gas to us coz of the discounted price. Initially we did not use for a few times (we were hesitant imagining the rush). However, one day we thought to try out (just to have an experience). It was a GOOD experience. Despite the rush, it did not take more 8 mins flat, there is a person at the station to guide you in case of need, people generally are courteous of each other's turn. Depending on the time of day you go, you are either going to be lucky and just drive right in or wait for awhile. I went on both occasions: morning and after lunch. Before heading to work, I needed to fill up on gas. I went around 7a and there was no one in line. During the weekend, I needed to grab gas after lunch and the lines were ridiculous. I went to another gas station and paid a little bit more, but I was in and out of that gas station. The pump stations are new and kinda complicated in the beginning. The same spot you slide your Costco card is the same spot you slide your credit/debit card in. The screen is touchscreen to choose your options. The gas attendant will come around and check to see that you didn't tamper with the credit card machine, which is a good thing. Since there are a lot of fraud out there. So don't get intimidated by them, as they are only doing their job and possibly protecting you from credit card theft. read more

It's ok now, borderline hectic during holidays. With one way in, one way out, the only Access to this store is through Business CTR Drive that's kinda chaotic with all the freeway entry being built around the main intersection, and even with all that fixed, I can't see the business ctr road clearing up. I think building another entrance to the freeway going 80 North on Suisun Valley Road will help alleviate the congestion. This isn't Costco's fault, just an observation. As far as the store, frankly it doesn't have many items I got use to being from the Southbay and peninsula, this Costco caters I guess to a different demographic.. but it's cool. If I get desperate, American Canyon is 10 min away. This store has enough, employees have been great, no complaints. read more

My girlfriend and I were recently looking to make a quick pitstop in the early morning on our way to Lake Tahoe National Forest from Sunnyvale. We ended up coming to this Costco Gas Station in Fairfield as it was the closest one to us when my tank was just about empty (don't be like me and wait until the last minute). Boy am I glad we chose this Costco Gas Station because it was tight! The Fairfield Costco Gas Station is located on Business Center Drive. The really nice thing about this spot is that the gas station's literally RIGHT NEXT TO THE FREEWAY! And by next to, I don't mean you have to drive only a mile or two from the exit. This Costco station is visible right along the I-80/680 Freeways. All you have to do is get off on Green Valley Road, turn left onto Business Center, and drive down until you see the Costco. If you plan on coming to this Costco Gas Station, I recommend stopping by during off hours because there's only a few lanes + just two pumps in each. Otherwise, you may have to deal with traffic and long lines; however, I doubt it will be anything like the chaos I experience on a daily back home. The best time though, is in the morning... ...speaking of which, who said every Costco Gas Station has to wait until 6 am to open shop? The Fairfield one doesn't, and that's a 5/5 in my book! More specifically, we came by around 540am on a Saturday, and we were actually allowed to pump! There was only one employee stationed at the time, and even though it wasn't technically "open hours," all lanes were open! All in all, I will definitely be back to the Fairfield Costco Gas Station if I need to buy gas in the area. Can't say much about another gas station. However, I do like this location because the line seem to always move quickly. It may be a hassle for some due to the fact it's not directly off the freeway. I Love getting gas at costco, I try an go early in the morning before 8 am so it isn't so busy or around 10 am. This is a convenient gas station for those who are already at or going to Costco. It's actually not too far from the freeway though if you're just stopping for gas. The price per gallon always seems to be a few cents cheaper than Arco, which is usually the cheapest gas station in town, so that's a plus. Never had any real problems with this gas station. It gets pretty busy around the late afternoons especially with people getting off work and wanting to go home. However, this place is completely empty during the early mornings. This is also one of the cleaner Costco gas stations I've been to. I really like the prices here as they aren't too high compared to other gas stations. This is one of my favorite place to gas up in Fairfield. Costco seems to always keep their prices lower than surrounding stations (although the Vacaville location seems to always be about 3-5 cents cheaper than this one). This location is always kept clean & there is always an attendant on duty to help with any problems that occur. Access to & from the freeway is fairly easy, so if you're traveling it's not going to take you too far off your time. The reason only FOUR stars instead of FIVE? There are only 12 pumps (some locations have 16) & sometimes during peak demand times the wait in line to get to the pumps can be fairly lengthy. read more

What can I say? It's Costco gas and all the benefits that comes with it. This is a great location that's nearby the 80 and the 680 freeway. There was very little wait time when I pumped last. The price is ridiculously less expensive that surrounding area within at least 5 mile radius. It was around 30 cents less per gallon. A great part is the hose stretches far enough so it doesn't matter which side the gas cap is located. Just go to the shortest line and you'll get out quicker. read more

Lots of pumps, so the lines are rarely long. People don't linger around after pumping their gas, which is great. The Vacaville Costco is usually a tad cheaper, but the prices here are for sure better than places like Arco and Chevron. One downside is that they don't have soap and water for your windows.
