This Costco gas station is right off the Pacific Highway, and really close to I-5. Traffic was pretty bad around this area when I was here. I don't know if it's normal or not. Everything just seemed tight, from the pumps itself to the parking lot. Still, it was a convenient location near two major highways, and had a really good price. read more

At this Tigard Costco location, the service is fairly quick, and because it's pretty much a standard for attendance to fill the gas tank throughout the state of Oregon, it's absolutely wonderful to not have to get out and deal with all of that. They literally get you in and out as quickly as they possibly can. The attendant was super nice, was happy to take my credit card, and when he returned it, did so with a receipt. Gas lines are much longer now and don't allow entrance from the north side. It's a bottleneck in the first parking lot isle on the northwest area. I recommend parking somewhere else. Usually I fly right through the Costco gasoline line but not at this location and not today. The girl "manning" the bay I went into seemed distracted, befuddled or something..... took her forever to knock off the chit-chat with her co-worker and actually engage me (the customer) in conversation. Then, she stood in front of the pump for over five minutes (literally...) just staring at it. I thought maybe she was having a stroke or something except that she looked to be only a teenager..... perhaps this is the first time she was ever introduced to a gasoline dispensing pump? So far, so good. This gas station is brand new. Seems to be run well, speedy, and the cheap Costco prices I have missed since moving back to the city from the burbs. Lots of pumps, and although you're only allowed to pull in one direction, they allow the hose to be pulled to the tank on opposite side. Glad to get a lower price on gas, but the lines have been longer if you don't want to use self serve. Self Serve is difficult for people with Disabilities. One particular attendant seems to always be complaining to other attendants and talking verses just taking care of pumping gas for the customer. This particular Costco is the only one I'm aware of that has Diesel as an option. Costco always has top tier quality gas and diesel and always at a significant discount. The staff at this location is very friendly and hard working. You do need a Costco membership or gift card to purchase gas at any Costco gas station. Costco has an overall issue of cars getting backed up due to the way they process cars serially. What I mean is if there are 3 pumps in your line and the car at the first pump is done, you cannot go directly to it. You have to wait for the other two pumps to finish. You get the idea. They having a queuing problem. However, it's worth the wait for both the employees getting a minute or two to rest and the cost savings. This location on Dartmouth is squeezed into an already tight parking lot which causes jams for people that just want or get into the store and shop. Sometimes they block off one side of the parking lot because of this so beware. The combination of one way busy streets and packed parking lots makes navigating Costco a bit more challenging. Expect to spend about 15 minutes here to get gas so if you are in a hurry keep that in mind. read more

This is my go-to place for gas. I haven't found another place that's cheaper and has friendly service so I fill up every time. I've never had bad service here and the pumpers really know how to be fast and efficient. While there are many pumps, the lines here are often long during peak hours and weekends. I have been a Costco member forever and have noticed lately that this location has the rudest "I'm just here for a pay check" attitude attendants. They aren't friendly and they seem to forget that you are there which is odd for keeping this high traffic gas station moving. Tonight was ridiculous. Not sure what is going on with this place. This location has older employees running the gas station and they were standing around chatting instead of manning the mass lines and keeping it moving. I have also noticed they don't have any energy... get some! The Clackamas location is nothing like this and I have been going there forever as well. The employees are friendly, thank you when you are done and extremely fast. I love Costco gas. They are the friendliest, cheapest and most efficient gas station in town. I used to live in Lake Oswego, so making the trip to Tigard was convenient, but I recently moved to Downtown and I still only get my gas here. At first glance, there are always super long lines and might not seem worth the hassle. However, when you have a car with a big tank, it makes a huge difference to fill up here. Also, the workers are always so friendly (even in freezing weather) and genuinely seem to have fun working there. That's always great to see. read more

Horrible experience today. You expect to wait during the holidays, but it was taking over 35 minutes for a single slice of pizza. At first I waited in line for my items, then for the pizza slice I had ordered. After waiting so long all we did was ask for an update and to make sure they didn't lose our ticket. Jenny working at the food court was so rude. She completely snapped stating that they were short staffed. We said we don't mind waiting, just making sure after 35 minutes that they still had our ticket. She was legit awful. Nearly 9 months pregnant and asking for help here is like talking to myself . People here honestly lack in customer service . Waited nearly 45 minutes for someone to help me load my car . And no one came !!! I ended up loading my car . This place is very accommodating. 18 pumps and plenty of workers running around to pump your gas. I haven't been to too many different Costco Gas pumps to compare, but as for my first experience here in Tigard, I'm a big fan. The lines can be a bit long, but don't forget that they can accommodate any side (gas pumps stretch to the other side. The lines move along fairly quick. I never had this kind of trouble ever since I driving. The guys at this costco gas station did not lock the gas cap after finishing his job. Recently my car started showing "CHECK ENGINE " light. I had no any idea what caused this light on ,so I had appointments with dealer. And searched website to find loosed gas cap possibly causing "Check Engine" light on. So I did check gas cap of my car to find it was not tightened, it was just hanging loosely in the mouth of the gas tank. I did tightened and gave a driving. But the light did not go away. Again I found there's bunch of business offering free check Check Engine light, including AAMCO and CANYON AUTO REPAIR on canyon road Beaverton. So I tired AAMCO first and heard "small leak in gas tank" was causing light on.And complete diagnosis would take a couple of hours. Since I had a appointment with dealer already, I drove out without spending any time with AAMCO.Like to have a second opinion, gave a visit to CANYON AUTO REPAIR .The guy came out with a small gadget and plug in into the computer in the driver's side. And told me evaporation in the gas tank caused Lights ON.And also he told me he could eliminate the light off with his gadget ,simply tightening gas cap won't put out the light. Oh boy, how many days I gave drive to put out this damn light off. And he did it without any charging All that was done within a minute. The guy at COSTCO GAS STATION gave me precious lessons. I come here often but mostly during the week during odd times. Naturally the line is super long but I'm from California and must I say, its so nice getting gas here in OR, ESPECIALLY at Costco! I never have to worry about which side my pump is on because that line is shorter and have people watch me struggling to pull the line to the opposite side of where my pump is. They have 3 rows with 3 pumps each so they. An serve up to 18 people at any given time but still manage to have long lines. They are kind/friendly and efficient. The hoses stretch to either side of your vehicle to keep the flow going. But the best exit is at the light since it's a one way otherwise. Just off 217 and not far from i5 either. read more
