My local go to value / membership gas station in the Brea / La Habra area. Pre-war gas prices were among the lowest in the area and since Costco added more lanes and pumps as been a better wait options (this might change as oil prices are rising sharply due to the current conflict in the Middle East)! This is my go to place for refueling, especially since the station was expanded, getting gas here is quick and convenient.

No line at 10:30AM! Or at least the lines generally for cars with the gas tank on your right hand side. Mine is on the left, but Costco gas hoses reaches all the way to the other side! So, while others wait, I just pull right on up and filler up! 7/1/25 is the date that the new 71 cent tax increase takes effect here in CA, so gotta get some gas now! This is one of my favorite Costco gasoline stations since it has been renovated to have 4 pumps for most lanes. Previously, with fewer pumps, there would be a much longer wait with several cars idling per lane. There is hardly a wait now even during peak hours of traffic. read more

This Costco had the cheapest gas prices this past week in Southern California. Lots of pumps, clean, and easy in and out quickly.

This is my local Costco. I use to love going to this every weekend and spend my money. However, I notice that staff changed and especially the Tire service team has lost many of their tenured staff and now you have a bunch of unprofessional rude no care working. I am being specific to the Tire service. Man it take 5 hours to get something done and really poorly managed. Oh yea, also fuel line and food lines needs better planing as there is chaos. I am sure there are smart tech to improve these issues. Costco team please fix the issue of making your staff have better customer experience than rudeness. I got married and was super excited that they put my Married last name on the Costco card, which was the first thing to ever have that last name and now she changed it to my maiden name without my permission. I just have to say whoever did the blueprints for this Costco GAS location needs to be reevaluated... you're not able to park in or around this area and that's because won't be able to get out of your parking spot.. and this is why the parking on the other side is insane.. Kombucha was on sale $8-ish for 6 bottles of Brew Dr. The cheapest I've ever seen; plus, they had new flavors I hadn't tried before. I also spotted a $5 wine, so hopefully, it's tasty. They replaced the cleaning products aisle (now aligned to the wall on the other side) with stuff like oat milk (6 cartons for $10). I was so happy to see macadamia and coconut, as well. Unfortunately, the line for the food court was there before and after our shopping experience. But I will be back for the $1.50 churros! Even the gas station had a bit of a line around closing time. P.S. The Sunrun rep was pretty informative, and he scheduled an appointment for someone to come out to our house. He said with the incentives and rebates for our state, it was possible to qualify for no upfront costs. read more

This isn't my closest Costco, but I go here often since they have a lot of different products than the Costco closest to me. Also, whenever I go here, it's overall less crowded than the one in City of Industry. For the nice selection of items and the lower crowds, I'm giving this place 5 stars. I wish this Costco was closer to me. I feel the gas station in La Habra compared to Norwalk is a lot more organized. I feel like every time I go to this location it goes by a lot faster than the Norwalk location as they have more ways of getting to the pumps as opposed to Norwalk they only have one entrance and people stop at the first pump and hold up the traffic. read more

I'm glad at 8:30pm Costco gas was still pumping gas. Glad Costco gas is cheaper than most other gas outlets. I don't exactly like this location in part of the parking lot situation but in the future they need a better gasoline design that makes it easier for people to get in and out. Also they need to have more pumps to make it a faster moving line. Another exit lane or ramp would help move cars out quicker from the area. read more

My only disappointment is that every time I call I can never reach the service desk l tried every dept and all it did was ring and ring. I spent 25 mins on Phone Every single costco I called was like that. I could never get anyone to cometo on phone. Poor customer service. !!! No service desk that I could connect too!!! I have been to Costco Gasoline multiples due to the proximity to my home. Is conveniently located on the corner of La Habra Blvd, and Beach. They have the lowest prices in town. I like to come in the morning before the crowd gets here. At times they have long lines to get to the pumps. . The pumps are well maintained and they have an attendant walking around to make sure everything is top shape. Hours are from 6:00Am to 7:30pm. read more

Don't know what I was thinking when I decided to come here on a Saturday. Busy as heck!!! Love the selection of holiday gifts and items. They always have really cool things. Three star for the Clusterfuck that is the "pump lines" every lane is make your own line from the parking lot. I've sat here for 30 minutes trying to get out of my parking spot, because no one will let me back up and inconvenience them from sitting in the gas lines. 2 guys at the pumps playing around. The upgrades done to this Costco Gas station were phenomenal! 4 pumps on each side with the exception of the south one which has 3 pumps each. I went on a Saturday afternoon, the weekend before the 4th of July and there was literally no wait! Matt at Costco Gas is AMAZING. My car wouldn't start after filling up so he pushed my car to the side so I could contact someone for help. As I'm waiting for help, he periodically came by to check on me. There was also another person with car troubles that he checked on too. Matt also apologized to me for pushing my car to a darker part of the lot(even tho it was not that dark and there were so many people around). Chivalry is not dead. I really don't like to get gas at Costco due to it's long lines. I have no chance since the tank is bone dry. If you are getting gas don't worry about which side is your tank caps is! Jus make sure you pull forward and the gas gun should be able to reach. It took about 15 minutes wait this time and save about 80cents per gallon. read more

This is my usual go to location, as the one closer to my home is always way too crowded. This store seems to be a little more organized and has a better selection. I always make it a point to fill up when I come since their prices tend to be slightly less than the LA County locations. Trying to save money wherever I can and Costco makes that easy. I recently just ordered glasses from the optical department, and their prices for Gucci frames AND lenses were less than just what the frames alone would have cost from my local optometrist. read more

Closest location to me and for groceries, they always have what I need. Ordered a sheet cake from here and it was done beautifully, tasted amazing! Better than some gourmet dessert places. The biggest issue that I and many others have is the parking and gas station layout. Seriously don't understand what happened. Ever since they closed the entrance to the gas from the north side of La Habra Blvd, it's been a disaster. I have to consciously park in a location that I'll be able to get out of since the gas lines block parked cars from being able to leave. Needs a serious fix!! read more

Yay for Costco gas in general. There is definitely room to save money at any given day. Yes, there is always a line compared to regular gas stations but the savings are worth it to me. I noticed the the lines were not as bad as the Imperial highway and Lakewood mall locations, so that was definitely a plus. I will definitely visit again if I am in the area. read more

Today, I came in just to do my regular shopping when I decided I wanted to go those free little samples that they give for free to buy food products. I was by the section of Gouda chicken burger and I was getting it from the backside there has never been a problem from the front the lady literally move my hand and said you need to get the sample from the front mrs first of all never grab someone's hand I felt extremely irritated so rude and disrespectful simply say Mrs if you can get it from the front I will appreciate that she seem like she hated her Job name was Tish costco hire customer friendly people. read more

Great gas price, but horrible lay out. I'm a pretty avid Costco gas guy and this is without a doubt the worst Costco gas station set up. No real lines established which just leads to people wiggling in front of other people. I saw two different groups yelling at each other over this. They have someone attending that station but they don't do a damn thing to help the flow of this place like other costco gas stations do. Next time I'll just pay the extra $5-$7 for the tank and save myself 20-25 minutes. read more
