I am such a sucker for Costco gasoline and it's like the Gods above granted me one of three wishes when they opened the Costco in Meridian. Within ten minutes, I can fuel up my car and fuel up on organic bananas and hummus. Wow - What I life I have. This particular Costco Gasoline station is neatly tucked away in the corner of the Costco lot. It's not super easily accessible which is good. Why is that good? It's good because it doesn't cause a traffic jam at the intersection of Chinden and Ten Mile. If there was an off the street entrance into the gas station, it would look like the ration line on odd days from the late 1970s. Hey kids, go look that up. The aisles for the vehicles are nice and wide. I am so super-appreciative this fact. Some gas stations leave no wiggle room for the over-sized trucks and their hauling boats or the classic family truckster. At the Costco gasoline station there's plenty of room for everyone. Got to make sure you have your Costco card, or it's no gas for you. There's a new option to use the contactless screen thing so you don't have to insert your ATM / Debit card and of course the hoses and the pumps work like they should. The attendants are always available and the price is right plus we get fairly good gas mileage. Always has excellent prices as compared to the surrounding areas. And is extremely convenient if you're a Costco member to have a one stop shopping experience. Have never had any bad experience with Kirkland fuel as we've been using it for years. The only drawback can sometimes be the long lines, but the hoses are long enough to reach the other side of your car giving you the option to pick the shortest line! read more

Near Total Lack of Handicap Carts. I am a amputee and getting around a monster store like Costco without the use of a handicap cart is nearly impossible for me. I have raised this issue with Doug the store manage as well as Costco corporate to no avail. Add to all this there are people who really do not need these carts using them. This Costco location has the best customer service that I have ever experienced. I left Costco several years ago after I witnessed an incident with another customer and a Costco employee. I was so angered by the incident that I immediately canceled my membership. I was in California at the time so I just switched over to Sams Club. Since the Boise area doesn't have Sams Club, I have been considering going back to Costco. About a week ago I went into this location to sign up again. I was helped by Ryan & Deb. They read the notes on my account and saw the reason that I canceled my membership and ended up offering me a discount on my membership! It was totally unexpected and nice. They both were very apologetic for the incident & they had nothing to do with it. The two of them were beyond helpful and very friendly. It made me feel really good about restarting my membership. I found out that Costco can refill printer cartridges for you while you shop! I didn't know that they offered this service. I had 4 HP 904's that needed to be refilled. I dropped them off to the photo center aright around 7:15pm. Steve O was the only one working in the photo center. He told me that he would do his best to get them all done before I was done shopping. I only needed the black one urgently and told him that I had no problem coming back the following day to pick them up. I stopped by the photo center on my way out & Steve O had finished all 4! I appreciated it so much. He really went the extra mile and I appreciated it a lot. I highly recommend this location! I may even continue to shop at this location even after the Meridian Costco opens! read more

DO NOT BUY COSTCO GAS! I used to always fill up my gas tank at Costco but I won't any longer, and here's why you shouldn't either. Last Thursday I filled up per usual at Costco. But when I went to drive my car on Saturday morning to run errands it died alongside the busy Cleveland Boulevard. I had to have my car towed down to United Muffler. They told me that the gas I had put into my tank was 75% water and only 25% gas. They had to clean out all of my fuel lines and pump my gas tank. So because I bought gas at Costco I ended up paying almost $300 in damages. When I went to go and talk to the Assistant Manager Troy he didn't seem to believe something like this could happen and didn't seem to care. Well I can tell you I've talked to 5 other people in which a similar incident has occurred at this Nampa Costco. I was disappointed in the situation and the way they handled it. So save yourself the trouble and grief and fill up somewhere else. read more
