Their selection was a bit limited due to empty spots, and one item I was after they didn't have alternatives for. This location is a bit older and shows its age. It's worn from inside to out, especially inside on the floor and ceilings...and just overall energy. Speaking of energy, service was lacking here as well. The overall vibe of this location was consistent, but it was not great, especially for a CVS location in Brentwood of all places.

I came in for an urgent prescription, and he immediately said it wasn't available and the nearest location was in Hermitage--over an hour away. I asked multiple times if he could check other stores or inventory, and he refused, saying "that's all my screen shows." I later found the medication at another CVS just 10 minutes away. When I returned to tell him, he didn't apologize or offer assistance, saying I'd have to call Hermitage to transfer it myself. I ended up spending over an hour handling something that should have been simple. This was unhelpful and dismissive. I hope CVS addresses this, because customers deserve staff willing to actually assist rather than blindly follow the screen.

I had to transfer several prescriptions from my compounding pharmacy in Virginia and they took care of everything! They even made my compounds better by dosing them differently which meant less cost to me (as insurance doesn't cover them) and less to apply (they are skin creams). Whoot whoot! I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.

The middle-aged male tech with the horn rimmed glasses is rude condescending and needs training or a major attitude change desperately. If he's working the drive-in window, I purposely park my car, just so I don't have to deal with him. He may very well be the primary reason for the bad reviews. He seems to dislike customers.
