Under construction in the Gas station... I think they expand more gas pumps. Not many parking available on weekend. Disaster! Why do they dig the holes all of a sudden in the Gas station? I found a new promo for Kogi k bbq sauce and teriyaki. I know Kogi chef for Taco truck a long time ago. This brand Kogi got so popular in LA area. Now the Costco is selling Kogi K bbq sauce. I have my own fave brand from major Korean brand Kotchujang. I didn't buy it today. The Costco had lots of korean items since last year. Ramen, Kimchi, seaweed papers, kotchujang sauce, ddeokbboki, Red ginseng drink, Soju w a variety of fruit flavors, and korean skin care products. I know korean brands are premium, taste great, reliable, safe to use korean skincare products. Hopefully the Costco has more korean products. read more

I'm shocked that I have not written a review for this place considering I go here almost weekly. I've been to several other neighborhood Costco's particularly the Business one in Westminster, Huntington Beach and the GARDEN GROVE. This by far is the best one they always have carts for you don't have to go and chase after your own, even on a busy crazy Saturday you get in and out fairly quickly. I get the majority of my producer since by buying a book you end up paying almost the same as if you were going to be Vons or Ralph's with more quantity. Because of their quick term, the qualities is always excellent and the vendor selection is always changing. I love the products that are offered here and I love the return policy. read more

I love this Costco location , there's always a short line at the gas station. The store is clean, well, organized, and the employees are kind and welcoming. The parking lot can be chaotic on weekends, but if you want to avoid the stress, there's usually plenty of parking behind the warehouse near the gas station or come early. This Costco delivers a great shopping experience, and I recommend it to anyone in the Cypress area. read more

As with all Costco's it can get quite busy and crowded during peak hours but overall enjoy going to this one. Open spacious layout that's organized and well stocked with a huge parking lot! On weekends though, even with the huge parking lot it can get very crowded with wait times to get a spot. Just have patience or if you don't mind the walk, park further away. They have a wide assortment of food and item options that they rotate out for good prices. They do have self checkout as an option on the left side and if not you can line up at the registers. Lines look long but go fairly quickly. The staff here are all friendly, attentive, and helpful. The eye center here has the sweetest staff ever! The food court is located outside with plenty of seating area. Order on the digital kiosk then wait in line to get the food. It typically goes fairly quickly. read more

I'm rarely in this area, but I really enjoy this "left-handed" entrance-exit setup. It's unique and for some reason "feels right" to me. Of course, finding items becomes a challenge, since the layout seems flip-flopped, and some sections aren't where they aren't "normally" where one may be accustomed to find them. As always, getting in and out of Costco was fairly easy if you're shopping light and dashing to self-checkout. Parking is also easy to find and not as cramped as some other locations. read more

First time at this Costco in Cypress, it's similar to ones closer to us: very busy even on a weekday. But it did have a very large parking lot, allowing us to park decently close. And it definitely had Asian-inspired products that are not sold at the ones closer to us. Will be worth going back to, if in the area. Costco is definitely enforcing the scanning of membership cards at the door, which does cause a bit of a bottleneck when trying to get in. But once inside, there are areas that are pretty empty (bedding section?) where you can pause to regroup, and other areas where you MUST keep moving (anyplace that sells food). Our group of three decided to separate, so it was interesting trying to reconnect by using your phone while holding various items in your arms. But it worked...and got to buy/observe items that I've never seen at Costco before. Wasabi Ahi ($22.21) - Sold at $20.99 per pound for Poke. Choice of spicy ahi, wasabi ahi, and salmon. Got the wasabi ahi, and can state it was quite good on a bed of warm white rice and a dollop of kewpie mayo: enough for 3 big servings. Plus it's considered a non-prepared food item, so no tax! Costco sushi is awful, but they were also selling tuna/salmon/yellowtail sashmi at this location which looked somewhat OK (priced at $36.99 a pound). Other Asian inspired items were Mavens Durian Ice Cream, Spam gochujang flavored kimbap, chicken paw (not feet, which would have additionally include the hock), and beef bulgogi ($6.99 a pound, considerably cheaper than at H-Mart). Didn't have a chance to go the gas station or food court. Also used the remaining amount on our costco cash card. Will continue to load it from future digital cash cards that we'll get from Costco travel journeys. read more

I returned some fruit because they were spoiled and not edible. What upset me was not the refund process, but the attitude of the manager. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager sarcastically asked, "Why didn't you bring all of them back? Did you eat the rest?" while laughing. I found this very disrespectful and unprofessional. Customers should not be treated this way when returning spoiled products. I expect better customer service from Costco. read more

I chose this Costco's pharmacy for convenience but it's becoming not worth the hassle. Typical experience -- Wait 25 - 30 mins to get your prescription filled. Come pick it up only to be told they only filled half and now you have to wait another 20 mins for the rest but they'll "try to expedite it". 2 mins later, see the person who promised said expediting gathering their belongings in preparation to clock out for the day. Slight variation -- Receive email that prescription is ready to be picked up. Swing by to pick up said prescription. Not ready. Asked to wait 20 mins as they will once again "expedite" and text when ready. 30 mins goes by ... nothing. Go to counter to check on prescription. Told to wait in line. Meanwhile, prescription has been ready for 15 mins. Just why. read more

Been to this location multiple times atleast 3 times a month. Spending my quality money in another city and supporting another city instead of spending it at my local Costco. Parking here isn't too bad and the food court is always nice and clean. Customer service however could be a little better. Unfortunately had a run in with "Alfred" one of the door greeters I assume making sure to check that everyone scans in correctly. I always have my service dog with me but today I was stopped by Alfred who questioned if my dog is a service dog (mind you she's wearing her vest, e-collar and flack collar that says working k-9). He came off very strongly, rude and disrespectful. Asking me what is my disability and what do I need the service dog for. I mentioned to him that I do not have to explain anything to him, but he insisted forcefully holding me in the front & embarrassing myself and undermining my knowledge of my service animal. He went out of his way to call a male manager forgot his name but I think it was (Miguel or Manuel). Who sided with Alfred and told me "would you like to bring another manager to tell you the same thing?" And I said "sure". Then Kerry came in and politely asked what was the problem and I calmly explained the situation and she instantly saw how good my service animal was and said "you guys are good to go sorry for the inconvenience and not all staff are trained and up to date on service animals." Kudos to Kerry for being polite and calm and maintaining awesome composure and professionalism. I will be back only because of Kerry ! Would have been a 5 star post but due to these simple complications I'm putting 3 stars. read more

Not so good, especially with the Manager Miguel, I came to Costco at Katella Ave location to return a TV i have previously won 2 days ago at my company corporate Christmas party. Off course i did not have a receipt or the costco member who bought the item specifically, but its marked costco has tags and even when it was checked by there electronic tv sales guy he said it was costco , box was factory sealed not opened, and you know what Manager Miguel told me sorry no return without receipt or only the member who bought it can return it, now that does not make sense because all he had to do was scan it which another Costco did after I left Katela Location and found all the info the price etc and within 5 minutes i was given a gift card and that was it , now i ask you my did Manager Miguel deny my return well its numbers , catching Miguel and another supervisor after our confrontation discussing how these big returns takes a hit on store numbers he did not see the person i was with was actually watching him too. Well Miguel why would you deny a Costco member is it because you dont like your sales numbers taking a hit, Well this is not good your policy of anything more then $50 without receipt is not under Costco Guidelines, is this something you implemented without official corporate policy, because other Costco helped me as they should im not trying to do anything illegal my return was legit plus its a gift card that went back to store to purchase more items , maybe its my ethnicity i dont know when I go to Katela location always I dont feel appreciated or welcomed unlike other Costco locations , be on the look out Yelpers for Miguel the Manager. read more

Like every other Costco, this one is also clean and staff is great friendly. The only thing that gets me is the parking lot. It is chaos in the lot trying to fight people on a spot. Best solution: Park far and you do not have to mess with the shenanigans. I feel like anytime I come to this location, they have so much in stock. I never have a problem finding what I want and the egg line isn't that crazy. Also, I have found items here that I have not seen anywhere else. Prices are great and they tend to have a section of clothing that is sold at low prices because they are the last of the inventory. I always raid that area. The food court employees at this location show a lack of pride and caring by serving this pizza pictured below to us. We took it to go on December 2nd and didn't open the box until we got home. It was after 7:30pm when we got home and we had to throw the pizza out because it had a burned taste to it. Thus the missing slice. This review is for the Costco Hearing Aid Center in Cypress CA. I've been going there for years. Everyone is courteous and helpful. I got a new cell phone yesterday and only discovered this morning during a group meeting that my hearing aids were no longer connected to my phone. In a panic, I called my Costco Cypress Hearing Aid Center. Jenni, who manages the Center, answered and in 5 minutes walked me through the setup for my hearing aids. This review is specifically for Suzanna who was working the front door today at 1:30 pm. By far one of the worst customer experiences I have received. She was snarky, condescending and short with myself and others that were entering the store. She stopped me because my card expired and kept talking over me and interrupting me when I was trying to tell her I just grabbed the wrong card. She was dismissive and rude. She did treat an older lady behind me with the same disrespect and wouldn't allow her to come in with her service animal. She asked personal questions to the lady which she is not legally allowed to ask such as her need for a service animal which violates hipa. While we waited for the manager, she grilled the lady with a ridiculous amount of questions. When it came to my card, they wouldn't let me in unless I had the updated card even though I had all of my account information and would be able to have someone from my house take a pic of the new one for me. The manager gave me the impression that she did treated want to help and that I was essentially sh*t out of luck. Very shocking coming from Costco therefore I will be bringing this up with corporate. read more

This is my favorite Costco for Asian stuff. I've been to Norwalk, Long Beach, cypress, garden grove. Cypress has the best/most selection. We come here about once a month to see what's new. Pineapple cakes, takoyaki ball chips, Lego Asian fans, etc are fun to see and during lunar new year they have some pretty packaged stuff too. Otherwise service and value are the same at whatever Costco you go to. It'll be crowded so go early in the morning or later in the evening! read more

This review is for Costco Optical. I'm giving 3 stars because I've had good experiences here before and have purchased multiple pairs of glasses and contact lenses from Costco. This is the first time I've had an issue like this. My glasses worked great for the first 3 weeks, then became very blurry. Cleaning didn't help, and I noticed streaks on the lenses--like the coating was wearing off. I work on a computer for 12+ hours a day, so reliable vision is essential. I can't depend on switching to contact lenses for a week or more if issues like this come up. My plan was to send this pair in for repair and purchase a second pair as a backup. When I approached the staff, I had both my current glasses and the new pair I intended to buy. Unfortunately, the staff member immediately accused me of trying to switch frames. I had to explain my situation, and instead of listening, he attempted to clean my lenses and showed them to another staff member, insisting nothing was wrong. I paid over $200 for these glasses and had to send them back within a month. Not acceptable. At this point, I'm honestly not confident they'll even send my glasses in for repair and worry they'll just hold onto them for a week and return them without fixing the issue. read more

I first went to this location when I was 18 and a freshman in college at the time. I really like the location of this place as I find it fits well with the surrounding area. The parking is amazing, and not crowded compared to other locations. There's even an outdoor food court with blew my mind as I've seen this before. There's even so many new items compared to the other location I've been to. When I was here a year ago, there was Korean soju being sold which surprised me because of how random it was sold here and how pretty the bottle looked. I was also amazed at how one aisle sold outdoor security floodlights, toilet covers, IVY canon printers, etc. My dad and I went here to get some stuff needed. We also found some interesting laundry detergent and softener after using context clues to find this place. I swear there's always something about Costco that makes you use your context clues to find something no matter what location you're in. My dad was glad to find some affordable laundry detergent and softener because the whole family needs it. The workers here make it quick and easy for us to have our items paid. read more

DO NOT BUY MEAT FROM THIS LOCATION. This Costco does not store meat properly. On different occasions, we got pork ribs, cod, and very expensive short ribs and everything was spoiled and caused tons of diarrhea. Only the chicken was not spoiled. and everything was cooked same day or next day!! We cannot even return all of it because we cooked some of it. It has been very warm inside here as well so I think the fridge temps are not cold enough at all. They need a health inspection to check all the fridge temperatures. I moved to this area recently and unfortunately this is the closest Costco. I saw unfortunately because I absolutely HATE coming to this Costco and I'm a huuuuge Costco Stan!!! I used to go to Costco's on the weekends just for fun and to explore the products, but out of all 7 Costco's I've went to, this is absolutely the worst Costco and the bottom of the list. Let's start off with why. First of all, as soon as I entered, the lady asked do I have membership, I said yes and continued walking. Then she started yelling saying you need to show me. Okayyy, like please calm down. I've went to 7 Costco's, yes I know the greeters job is to make sure it's only members entering, but I've always just walked in without anyone asking with the most asking please take out your membership but even if I don't they let me pass. It's really dumb to ask for members at the entrance since literally at checkout you are unable to checkout without a membership. Why inconvenience at the entrance? Scared of people taking samples? Speaking of samples, there are only a couple of samples at this store. Like 3-4 max. And the samples were lackluster too. Now, let's talk about the employees. Literally every employee I talked to I lost brain cells or regretted opening my mouth. I asked people where certain products were, and they were absolutely no help. "I'm not sure, I think it might be in the other side of the store". Thanks very helpful. Out of all the employee interactions, only 2 were nice and helpful, one at the food court and one manager looking person who actually helped guide me to the product. This Costco is smaller than other Costco's. The aisles feel smaller. It's super packed on Sundays, please don't go. People are inconsiderate, going super slow and not making space. I can't find the normal products I'm used to. And the gas station line is HUGE. Even bigger than the other Costco's I've went to. Also, no car wash. Also, why'd you get rid of churros smh. I usually love other Costco locations , but this location could really use some attention. Inside was dirty, had clothes thrown everywhere instead of neatly folded. The food court area was pretty dirty and there were quite a few flies around, which made the experience unappetizing. It just feels a bit neglected compared to other Costco stores. Rebeca the lady that checks your recipts at the end is a RACIST!!! towards Mexican. The CASHIER didn't scan our water bottles and she made it seem like we were trying to steal. She was telling people we were stealing that were walking out. The manager JOEL was rude acting like if we tried to steal the waters as well. They both have no customer service.
