    Chair socks?!

I am a sucker with impulse buys, snacks, and junk I don't need for around a dollar. With the closure of the 99 cents store on Valley View, Katella has blessed me with the one stop shop on Katella; Daiso & Dollar Tree being a mere block away from one another Daiso is great for gift bags, stationary, weirdly translated stationary, Disney licensed merch, import snacks, the latest Hi-Chew flavors, etc. They have a great selection of kraft paper items; post-its, bags, washi tape, etc. It looks very organic DIY without the Paper Source prices. Credit card or cash accepted. You have to spend at least $50 to use a $100 bill. They used to have a sign that said no bills over $20 accepted. Cashier was nice, no one else was around in the store (5pm Tuesday) but I didn't need assistance.

This Daiso is huge with labeled aisles and easy parking. I think the selection of mugs, plates and kitchenware has been better in the past. The pricing can be confusing as now items are more than $1.75 and there's a lot of writing on the packages. Tip: if you don't see a pink circle with a symbol, the item is $1.75. I didn't get much on this trip but they do have a good hair accessories and toy/plushies section. You'll find unnecessary but cute Sanrio and Disney items like sealable bags and chocolate molds. Lots of goodies in the snack section. I LOVE Chocorooms (chocolate topped cookies mushrooms) but a little bag is expensive and high in calories so I only buy them to treat myself. This was the first Daiso I've been to with an Outdoor Area and crafting section.

    11/11/22 I'm guessing it's NOT $1.50 anymore....

11/11/22 My goal was to get a gift card at Daiso....guess what? They don't sell gift cards! My niece LOVES this place. It's dangerous that she can walk here (about 5 minutes away). My brother says (her dad) she'd like to work for Daiso when she becomes of age. She says she could buy all the stuff she'd need when she dorms-that's in less than 4 yrs lol. I bought some Pocky for my nephews, $2.50 each. I got different flavors & I told them they'd have to share. Ah, childhood faves! So I just gave my niece some spending money to shop at Daiso. Everyone's happy. This is a fairly big store with an assortment of items that'll keep you entertained by roaming the aisles. Houseware, make up/toiletries, arts & crafts, food/snacks....lots of cute Knick knacks. Hubby was looking for a thimble again but no such luck. Oh and it's now $1.75 majority of the items--it used to be $1.50. I haven't been to the 99 cent store lately, I wonder if it had changed , too..... The cashiers were pretty nice & the store is organized, very well lit & maintained. There's always something new & interesting to see & purchase here.

Got new supplies in preparation for next month's scrapbook convention, thank you Daiso

First of all this store is so clean and inviting. I was greeted at the door and with a smile even behind the mask. I have never been here before so I went through every single aisle. I found aisle earrings for a gift. I also bought myself some. I found a little show box for my lego min figs I'm going to paint up and decorate. There was a perfect size box for my new art supplies, and most favorite erasers to use while drawing. And I bought a pack of two word card notes. I love to have those on my purse for quotes and thoughts to carry with me. This store is fantastic. I'll be back the next time I'm through town. Checkout was quick, and when a price was a bit more than 1.50 they made a point to let me know, which was thoughtful. Diana helped us and was really kind.

Japanese items are priced $1.50 unless otherwise marked! This Daiso location is possibly one of the largest in Southern California. There were seemingly endless well-organized aisles of household goods, school and office supplies, beauty and healthcare items, hair accessories, snacks, dishware, children's toys, socks, scarves, beanies, holiday items, and more! I found the black q-tips that my cousin wanted! I was looking for chestnuts for my Community Manager, Emi, but they were sold out! I will go to another Daiso location and hopefully, chestnuts will be there! If I were in the area again, I would return for more cute gifts for friends and family back home (even though we recently got a Daiso in Pearl City because the wait to get in is long and the items are in high demand)! There's free parking, friendly service, good lighting, and great air conditioning!

Five stars to Daiso for the recent visit. The store was very well-stocked and the management is limiting capacity for entry. I found a really nice birthday hat for my son and large clear bags for birthday giveaways.

Now $1.50 store instead of $1. Oh well, the price of inflation.

Daiso Japan have those hard-to-find items or those utensils your Mother or Grandma used but someone threw it out cause no one used them. Until now. Hahaha. You have to visit Daiso. BTW each store will carry some things not found in other stores.

As soon as I walked in I didnt know which way to go. So many unique items caught my eyes and I didnt know what to touch first. It was a visualgasiam for me. You have to go there to understand what I mean. But be ready to be permanently fixated on this shop that sells everything for $1.50. If your looking for something to do something that you didnt know existed, it lays here along with 1000s of other things. So many different colors and textures.lots of fix all items and things to organize your life. What I bought wasnt to cool, but I bought them anyway. I bought one of many washable cloth zip bags to put delicate clothes in, like gym gloves or bike gloves to throw in the washer machine. They come in all sizes. I can even throw Fionas soft toys in one and wash. I bought a plastic box to store business cards and flyers in for the beast. Some squash air freshners for the cars. A few snacks and a few other things. Lots of beauty products from eye lashes, double sided q tips, sponges, face brushes, make ip, ect. Lots of little girl party supplies, baking products, ect. This is my new favorite store for $1.50 items. Move over dollar tree.

    Daiso is fun!!

omg! And it's right by my house! Daiso is a fun store. Items in store are priced at $1.50, unless otherwise marked. Some products, made in Japan, are more pricey, like Peach Gummy Candy (yumz) Lots of plastic containers, so if you feel like organizing, come on over, buy some, and be like Martha Stewart. Be prepared to spend 25 bucks on just one shopping bag of goodies....because it adds up! Happy shopping!

We found a cute bunny which we assumed was $1.50 but it ended up being $6.00. Make sure you check the prices before you buy something. But anyway we found some cute stuff like a cute backpack (which was $12.00, little expensive but my daughter paid for it herself), a fan, cute stationary and pocky.

I came back to return a couple of items that didn't work out and figured I'd at least ask about a price match. Joseph was incredibly patient and efficient throughout the whole process. He didn't rush it or make me feel like I was being difficult, which honestly can happen in these situations. He took the time to double check everything, made sure the pricing was correct, and handled it all with such a calm and helpful attitude. It made a frustrating situation feel easy. As expected one scalper took a cart and hoarded most of it and called his fellow scalpers and took the rest of the Pokemon boxes. Less work by the staff as compared to having Pokemon fanatics fall in line at the counter and check out and make sure customers only has a limit of 2 items. I bet this is a decision from the supervisor or even higher. When somebody gets injured because of this Pokemon cards being on the shelves as compared to be placed behind the customer service counter, I am sure you it will cost more headache and even more money from Target. By the way, the scalpers left the Chaos Rising sleeves. Happy hunting!

The Worst Customer Service Experience I've Had at Ross!!…read more I have shopped at Ross many times, and although I've had some less-than-great experiences before, tonight was by far the worst. I understand that working a busy register can be stressful, and I was completely understanding when I realized that my phone wallet had unexpectedly lost my payment cards. I apologized, explained that I had cash in my car, and literally ran outside and back to get it. I was gone for less than a minute. Unfortunately, when I returned, I was treated in a way that I found extremely disrespectful and unnecessary. I tried to be polite and patient, but the interaction continued to escalate because of the employee's attitude toward me. At one point, I simply asked what the problem was and why I was being treated with such an attitude. I was told I could speak with a manager. I said I would rather just receive my refund and leave without purchasing the items. Instead, I was told, "No, you're going to purchase it," and my transaction continued. A manager eventually came over, but I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously or that the situation was handled appropriately. I am intentionally leaving the specific details out of this review because I plan to contact Ross management directly about what happened, including the conduct of the employee and how the situation was handled by the manager. If this is not corrected, I will be including names in my updated review. I left the store extremely disappointed. I came in as a customer expecting basic courtesy and respect, and unfortunately, that was not what I received tonight.
