So glad to have this store in the nearby area. Had to drive quite a distance in the past to find a Costco. This store is extremely neat, clean, well kept. The gas station area is well organized, and has an inordinate amount of pumps available. The customer service has been good and so have prices and availability of product. My only wishes that they had the instant checkout you can do on your phone like Sam's Club. Otherwise a great a great place to shop. read more

We visited this Costco to refill our rental car with gas before returning it to the airport. The car wasn't due back right away, and after driving over an hour from Boulder, my husband and I decided to walk around Costco for a bit to stretch our legs and compare Denver's Costco with South Carolina Costcos. For gas, the first thing I noticed was the low price. The second thing I noticed was how efficient the gas area is and how the rows have three pumps. No traffic jams here! Inside, Costco is super spacious. The store was steady for 6 PMish on a Monday, but there were no crowds in the aisles because the aisles are big. This Costco also has a wonderful selection of ethnic foods like paneer. I've never seen that at my home Costco. There's also a good selection of outdoor/camping gear- fits right in in Colorado! We didn't interact with any employees, but we saw plenty walking around, so if you need help, you can find someone easily. read more

Stopped by the Costco in Denver this morning around 9:30 while traveling and trying to pick up a few items for our trip. The doors were open but we were told we couldn't enter unless we had an upgraded membership. Staff immediately tried to upsell the Executive card instead of simply explaining the policy clearly. I understand businesses have membership tiers, but turning away regular members when the store appears open is frustrating--especially for travelers who just need to grab a few things quickly. Not a great customer experience. read more

Plenty of parking Great gas station - although first thing in the morning, there was usually a line. The staff in the store was very friendly and helpful. We were just burning through time before going out to dinner, and decided to look at Android tablets. They had a good selection of tablet devices to choose from, which was nice. My brother had a couple of questions about the device and how transfer items to the new device. He also had questions about the storage and other features. The gentlemen was really patient and we looked at the online manual as well. My brother had Costco points that he needed to use (plug for the Costco rewards card), so he purchased the tablet. We walked around and got socks and a pair of hiking pants. The checkout process was super easy. We primarily used this for gas on our way out of town for hiking and nobody in this area can beat the price that Costco charges for gas. If I ever visit this area again, I'm guessing we will visit here again. LOL read more

I love Costco but today was unbelievable, I was 30 minutes early and saw that they were letting people in, but I guess it was for executive memberships only. So they wouldn't let me in the building. Normally this is hands down my favorite Costco in the Denver Metro area. It is super clean, well-stocked, ample parking and I've never seen a line at the gas pumps ( I think there might be 32 pumps!). There is always a nice selection of Costco faves and new items in rotation and the deals are top tier. Although it is usually busy, the staff does a great job of moving the lines through and are usually super friendly. Even though today was busier than usual, we made it through with minimal fuss and barely any wait at the checkout- all the goodness ends here though. We have often purchased items in the lock up at the front and normally someone meets us quickly and gets our item and we move on with our day. Unfortunately today, multiple staff members ignored us while waiting at least 15 minutes including Manager Alyse who looked me in the eye multiple times and continued to ignore me and even bothered helping someone who came up after me. I completely understand if Manager Alyse was too busy to help us, but I don't think it's asking too much to acknowledge someone standing 3 feet in front of you and just let them know someone will be with them shortly- not too hard. I don't like to deduct any stars from one of my fave stores, but I am also not cool with people treating others poorly- this felt intentional. What a shame. read more

This is a much better Costco than the one I usually go to off of Havana. First off the parking situation is much better. It's easier to move through and spacious. The store was also a lot cleaner and more organized, the self check out was a lot easier and uniform with staff ready to help despite the busy ours. They had a good selection of foods I usually go for and it was just a much more relaxing environment than what I'm use to. read more

Apparently you cannot purchase a membership for your loved one and use it too! Since I use my grandmother's membership I thought it would be nice, LAST YEAR, to renew it for her. I spent my HARD WORKING MONEY, to renew the membership which is not cheap. I shopped there no issue. I show them my membership card at the door and go on my shopping way and even use it to get gas, which is not the cheapest in the area by the way. I go in this particular day and they ask me to scan it. I scan it no issue. They see it's a picture of my grandmother and deny me entry. I explain that I renewed it using my money and it's just my grandmothers account we both use it. The lady didn't bother asking for my ID to confirm last name similarities, she didn't say they could give me my own card. She just straight denied me which is absolutely ridiculous. My nana offered to go up to the store to rectify the situation and get me a card for myself I told her don't bother because Costco will never get another dime from me! Sorry to say if she chooses to renew it will be her choice because this company has completely burned this bridge with me. read more

I spend ian awful lot of money at Costco. Just for reference, My Costco rewards are annually like seven $800 a month sorry a year. Let me be clear. This is not my Costco that I normally shop at. I stopped in to grab some diapers for a baby shower and was in a hurry. I did my normal self check out as I was leaving the attendant at the self check out, asked to see the receipt and marked it as I was walking out the door. The other attendant asked to see my receipt like I've already been checked young lady was real snooty and says I still have to check your stuff. My reply was why am I being double checked and I've already been checked at the self check out. Terrible customer service.! This Costco must have bad members where they have to doublecheck all the members that leave this facility. Is there a lot of store theft going on at this location where this policy is in place. COSTCO maybe you shouldn't have opened this Costco in this area if you feel this way about the surrounding neighborhood. read more

Worst Costco experience of my life. Had the sloths of cashiers. While the line was half way down the store Cal was taking his sweet time looking around instead of focusing on his job on a busy Labor Day weekend. Completing unacceptable. Walked out and went straight to Sam's club. read more

I want to start off by saying I love Costco. I always have great experiences with the customer service. Today I had an unpleasant encounter with a man that worked at the card membership renewal. He was very rude and made a comment about my age which made me uncomfortable. I was asking a simple question about how to add someone on my membership online and while it was loading he said "you're 20yrs old I'm sure you could figure this out by now". I was just taken by surprise because the other day when I tried to add someone it would not let me and then got an unnecessary backhanded comment. Very unprofessional. read more

Ivan was a complete a**hole at checkout. We had a group of girls on our way to a bachelorette party and his attitude was terrible for no reason. we simply were checking out-- not an obnoxious group of girls just trying to get our stuff and leave.. i ended up forgetting my ID but the other 5 girls had theirs and he had me go out to my car which i didn't mind but then the girls came out before i came back. if you hate your job, don't do customer service or find a desk job. read more
