A couple of events that makes Costco my go-to place for bulk shopping. Employee was nice enough to grab heavy package of drinks off the pallet we needed. Very thoughtful. At checkout we both got our items scanned in carts before getting to checkout lane. Just put everything you can bar code up. Saves time. Swipe the card pay and leave. One of the cart corrals was all full and had left over box blocking it. Told staff who went right over there and fixed for other customers. read more

I was looking to change shopping warehouses and came here I have been a Sam's customer for many years, but the location is no longer convenient for me so I went here it is closer to my home. David was the person who assisted me. He was really friendly and I opened up an executive membership with a credit card and because of that I received $80 digital coupon plus a really nice green shopping bag for signing up. The warehouse is really nice clean open aisles with so many perks because of the credit card and executive status. The gas you receive 5% cash back on other stations 4% back. I'm really glad I joined Costco the selection and value for your money. I can't wait to experience and I'm so looking forward to it. read more

OK, we love going to Costco as a lot of their private label. I thought these Kirkland hotdogs weren't insanely large so we got them to grill over the weekend. This photo is a good reference to how big they are. Normally, we get Hebrew nationals so I was a little concerned about how these would taste compared to our favorite hotdogs. They taste exactly like Hebrew nationals and didn't disappoint. We actually spiral cut them by hand and threw them on the grill which I'd recently seen on some cooking show. I will never do a normal hotdog like that again spiral cutting the hotdog helps give the hotdog a little bit of crisp on the edges that adds flavor. I highly recommend. read more

Despite the busy crowds the employees always keep every organized and the lines moving fast whether is self check out or not. This is my favorite location because they always have what I need. My only suggestion would be another exit checker because the line was backed up to the food court. Either way still my place to go! read more

My husband and I went to Costco FrIsco this morning. We are very aware of the Costco crowds and the current situation with the "executive members" I understand the concept of costco looking to make more money and to benefit those that pay the extra usually unnecessary money (but thats none of my business) My husband and I walked in with our service dog at 0929. literally 30 seconds left before they let us "low life's" in which is what I felt like at the moment, a Costco employee was standing behind the poor guy who has to direct all this madness and she literally screamed at me told me we had to wait outside then walked away. I never saw her name. She was a middle aged African American lady with a Phillies jersey on. When I did get in I then witnessed her screaming at people in the self check out line. Utterly ridiculous. I do to pay to go there to be treated like a non paying member. Usually I enjoy the experience but this morning left a bad taste in my mouth. Seems to me Costco needs to be setting up some customer service training for these grumpy employees. read more

I went to this location to return two items today. There were only 3 people in line and 5 people behind the desk. Apparently the woman in front of me is on leave from the store so all five of the employees began chatting and hugging her. One of the employees came all the way around the counter to give her a hug. A staffer finally called me to her station. I told her I wanted to return an online order. She said she needed the order number. I cannot get service in the store so the two of us stood there until she finally looked in her computer and almost instantly found the order. I did my shopping and then when I went to check out I saw that only two cash registers had attendants. There were seven registers that were empty and five employees chatting and laughing. I went to the self check and a young woman with a scanner in her hand stood and watched me scan my items and "place them in the tray". I joined Sam's Club today. read more

I was out of town and ran out of my prescription medicine. Luckily, I called my local helpful COSTCO. The pharmacist, Sunit Patel, let me know what information was required. He told me how long it would take to refill. This has never happened to me before. I panicked, but Sunit reassured me that he was going to help me with my meds. That's exactly what he did. I was at the Costco in Frisco on Wednesday, August 6th around 5:30 PM. At checkout, I had heavy water and protein drinks, but the two associates, Tanini and Tyler, were just chatting with each other instead of helping. I had to lift and scan the heavy water myself while they stood there. Very disappointing customer service. read more

This is a great Costco location. The employees are so kind and helpful. Over the years I've had to call a few times to find out if a specialty item was in stock and I've never been treated like a burden. The prices are better than the online store so it's always worth checking to see if they have the item in store. The return policy is consistent across all stores and is appreciated, though the return line here gets pretty long during normal season so be prepared to wait. read more

I can't wait until they open another Costco close to me. This one has bad management. You can tell by the employees. Today I had a very rude and loud lady checking me out. When someone is that comfortable being rude to every customer, then you know it is condoned by management. Also, customer service is always out the door and down the sidewalk while several employees are just standing around behind the counter. I have experience this and witnessed this so this is a norm for this location. They do not seem the least interested in customer service. How can you not give 5 stars to a place that has some of the best products with the best prices? I actually need to start checking in here more often just to see how often I come here. As one of my hobbies includes smoking meats, I come here to buy USDA prime cuts, which are just superb pieces of meat. The membership pays for itself with just a couple of trips here, so it is definitely worth it. In terms of buying other items, I usually wait until the monthly sales. However, if you are able to buy bulk, this is the place to go. I actually prefer Costco to Sams, but to each his own. The only downside to Costco is that there are items that I truly love to buy (for ex: they use to sell White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory), but they will change it out over time. But, they can't just cater to me so I get it. Lastly, you cannot beat their mini restaurant as they still sell large hot dogs for $1.50 along with their great pizza. This place is awesome. read more

Costco was packed today as people grab supplies to "survive" the cold snap coming in. I remembered to grab my Costco rebate check that came from my Executive membership last October. When I checked my receipt when I came home I see where the tax was added into the total bill my rebate was deducted and then tax was added to the n again and then I paid the difference therefore paying the tax twice in the same bill and items. I don't think this is lawful. It was a small amount however if this is regular practice at all Costco's across the country then they may be pulling a fast one on their customers. read more

I love this particular location of Costco because the store is very clean, well-organized, and always has a great selection of items available. There is an employee keeping a count of store visitors as they enter the main doors to stay within the safety guidelines for COVID-19. Costco requests that members wear their face masks which is very encouraging to me since I am a vaccinated, yet immune-compromised individual. I appreciate these precautions taken to keep the public safe. Almost every Costco employee was properly wearing a face mask during my most recent visit. The snack bar is always a favorite of mine because the line moves quickly and efficiently and the service is fast. There are a few healthy options to choose from in addition to a variety of drink selections. The snack bar prices are incredibly low! I love that I can buy from Costco with confidence; every item I purchase is backed by Costco personally, and any time I've ever had an issue with a product, the team at the Service Desk has always been extremely helpful and my problems have always been resolved cheerfully. Weekends and evening hours are very busy! Shop earlier in the day to beat the crowd. There are many great bargains inside! read more

Have been a Costco member since 2013. This Costco is a bit smaller than we are use to BUT is very well stocked, clean, and easy to navigate. Staff is very professional, nice and even interacted with my 2 year old at check out. Food was fresh and delicious per usual. Would come back to this location for sure. read more

I like the selection of items here but I feel like the times I've been to the Plano locations, they've had more Asian food. However, the customer service here is awesome and above what I expect out of Costco. I've only had one bad experience here with one woman in the Pharmacy department. But everyone else has had exceptional service. During the beginning of COVID, the store was very clean and kept up with social distancing. Updating our Executive Membership. And boy do I have a story to share. I will ask of you not to take anything I say Personally. It's just my opinion and based on what I PERSONALLY experienced today. Just a reminder, Frisco is the capital of #SOCCER USA, at least that's what I call it. I lived in Frisco for 3 years and I saw plenty of soccer action everywhere. Toyota Stadium is in the heart of Frisco. Now that I am back to Texas, I see it all over again. Back to Costco Sula was very sweet, helpful with assisting us on opening our Executive Membership with them. We are formers members but when we moved to Chicago it didn't make sense for us to keep our membership, so now that we are back to Texas and have a house, it's perfect. She was very patient bc her computer was giving her a hard time printing out the membership cards, so clever if her, I read of having us waiting, she handed us a temporary membership card print out and asked if we could please come back after we finish our shopping. The only reason I did not give this location a 5 star is because they have so many people that are driving the shopping carts carelessly and no one is really managing that. I would NOT trust my child on the floor walking bc there are too many soccer moms (not to offend anyone) running around on a time clock and with kids swinging their feet while they are inappropriately riding in the front of the shopping cart bc they all do not fit inside the shopping cart. So a mom of 5 had three children under the age of 5 inside the shopping cart one sitting on the child seating area facing the mom, and a 6 year old ridding the front of the shopping cart swinging his feet while the mom was rushing and passing the cart. So the little boy fell off the cart and rolled over and the mom just yelled at him as she kept going, " Dustin get up and catch up"! Not to bash anyone, bc if it's just one parent doing the shopping and you cannot leave your 6 kids at home, then you have no choice but to bring them along, I understand that, but that is dangerous and on top of that you are not being considerate of others that are just minding their own business shopping. This whole review is regarding the Verizon kiosk located in Costco. First off, I was told I would save money by moving my service from AT&T. The cost after putting the order in ran me $700 in taxes alone. I was told I would NOT be able to use my IPhone or 10th gen iPad on their network and would receive a titanium and an iPad 9, this turned out to be a lie. First time I've ever had to return anything and it went wonderfully. It was a food item and I thought it would be a problem because I ate one of them. They gave me full credit after I told them that the product was just dreadful. Person at the counter agreed with me and told me she'd bought the same thing and returned it too. For the record, don't be tempted to buy "Mason Dixie Cheddar Buscuits". They are inedible. There wasn't any Cheddar cheese within six miles of the factory where they stamped those things out. West Plano Costco associate before approaching self check out wants to see a Costco Membership card-what a waste of manpower when you have to show your membership card before entering the warehouse. Maybe you should also have an associate checking membership card before using the toilet. In such a hurry another associate grabs the portable scanner and scans almost all my Costco products. I honestly love this costco! I love the way how everything is organized, even when they switch things up a couple times a year it's never confusing to find anything. I love the staff of Costco as well all so friendly and helpful! Even the people who serve the samples, I've never seen them in a bad mood here :). I come to this location 99% of the time they have a gas station that's far from the store (which honestly isn't a big deal) they have the eye clinic, pharmacy, passport photos, eye glasses, and the auto shop! I HIGHLY recommend Coming to this location (i have been to the one off Dallas tollway in Dallas and the one off 75 and this BEATS IT) it feels so big and open and not as claustrophobic as other locations. They also have a new self checkout section which makes life AND lines much easier to handle than before. They also started accepting card at the food courts so don't need to worry about bringing cash ;). read more

This location has made noticeable improvements. It is obvious that the management is paying attention to the needs of the members. Waiting times in line have decreased. Staff is more attentive. Meat and seafood selections have improved (whole New Zealand lamb, huge bone-in rib eyes!). Just add some grass fed beef selections and more non-GMO produce and I'm all in. read more

I love CostCo in general, but I really like this one. The people are very nice and shopping there is always fun, anyway. The lines can be long, but that's common for all the stores, but they work to get people checked out. I usually have a hot dog or piece of pizza because they are yummy! The hot dog and drink are only $1.50! It's a bit of a drive for me, but I will go out of my way to shop here if I have the time. The one thing I don't like is that there are people from Citibank at the store trying to get you to sign up for a credit card. Really dislike that. Other than that,I enjoy coming here. read more

I never thought I would leave a one star for Costco but for the Tire center, they well deserve it. I purchased a set of tires about 8 months ago with all the Costco discounts, Warranty offered , etc .... I own a car that has wider tires in the back than the front. It's also considered sports package. Since Sep 2023, I have aligned the car twice at the dealership and having owned the same type of cars for the last 15 years, they don't require rotation. Yesterday, I had a very small leak in the back tire so I took it to the warehouse to take advantage of many wonderful things they offer you when purchasing the tire. They come back to tell me that not only they won't repair the tire due to low thread count, all other warranties are voided because I did not rotate the tires. I explained to them that these type of sporty tires do not require rotation and both Discount tire and the dealership honor that except Costco. They also refused to give me mileage warranty (Only 8K added) due to the same reason. I want to know why costco forces their own policy (Not the tire company) to rotate your tire regardless of the car or else, everything is off the table. Since then, Discount tire has offered me Mileage credit and do not require rotation for my tires because they are in tire business. My biggest regret now is having moved away from discount tire after 20 years because of these baseless & false warranty, repairs, free stuff costco offers but at the end of the day, the consumer is screwed and they know darn well, they won't have to honor and backup what they sell people for these stupid policies. read more

Had to become a member to get a glasses prescription filled. I was with my mother who is a member. When they wouldn't let me paid for it I said she could and I would pat her back. They said they couldn't because the prescription is for me. How the heck can anyone buy the person standing in front of me prove that I am not 13 and my mother is paying for her child's prescription as all mothers do? It was ridiculous for me to have to shell out $60 for a membership I don't want when I was with a card holding member. I'm sure they do great buisness but the company policies really suck as far as making me want to shop there. I am a fan of the warehouse - was a member of Sams for years but decided that I would get down to one - Here is why: Fruit & Veggies- large quantities could set yourself up for waste, but I prefer to pick one veg and one fruit to focus on for the week. A melon, tray of strawberries, bag of cauliflower - I don't go crazy and I get creative with different ways to prepare it. From there, the freezer gets whatever I don't use. Bakery: specifically the Hawaiian rolls that can be used for diner and kid lunches or the naan bread which is sliced for hummus or used for dinner or pizzas. Kid clothes or adult sweats - also some option avail Latest best seller - If you cant wait to get it from the library, these prices are pretty good. Dairy, eggs, cheese - If I don't have plans, I might pass that last one as bulk may mot be needed but the first two are also in use in my home for cooking and baking so they are a must The rest of the stuff - who can't resist the sampling stations on the weekend and walking out with a new taste - weaving through the aisle for gadgets and sorts is a must - gas prices are usually competitive and It takes just a few coins to get a bottle of water out of the machine near the food court to beat the texas heat. read more
