So team member from self checkout line Maria was MIA while a couple of customers needed assistance, afterwards, I was making a nice purchase with the med massage equipment, I had to inquire her assistance (no offer to assist). While doing so, she spilled over oil from the top level of the shopping cart onto my person reusable bag, zero acknowledgment. I called it out in a friendly manner, oh the oil spilled. (Nothing from Maria) Noticing it was on my Costco reusable bag, as well as Maria LOUD SILENCE, frustrated me to kissing my teeth, "You spilled it all on my bag". (Maria remained silent no apologies, nor a measly excused herself. Nothing. I only needed her to scan my large box, not my small items knocking over oil and stuff making a mess on my bag which could get in my clothes, and on my seats. Some oil don't come out of things. She didn't even attempt to make up the flaw by bagging or even offering to bag my small items in my bag she spilled the oil on. Lazy lady. Second and third strike is when I arrived home to discover that the med massage is old, broken, USED & Damage!!! I'm talking to the point of rips, tears, physical damage on padding and metal part of handles. It turned it self off, which made me inspect the device. I was in such a hurry to use it, because I was in so much pain. That I didn't even notice it was not even packaged as a new device. No plastic wrap. Nothing. The outlet cap cover fell to the floor. The cord was not wrapped and tied properly at all. It was a complete disaster. The cord was just wrapped around the device which also has damage which look like dust, is that old!!!!! The pad is ripped to the point whereas the stuffing is visible! For a device that's $250. Costco you didn't bother to confirm prior to restocking this on the sales floor??? These are only available once per year for a few days and it's less than 24 hours till the end of Med massage road show. DO NOT LET THE EMPLOYEES SCAN YOUR ITEMS AT SELF CHECK OUT!!!!!! Twice now I have had to go back and rescan items they have skipped!!!! Then today I got told at the door that they missed two items... went back to rescan the missed items, got to my car and realized I got charged twice for an item!!!!! So I had to go back inside and get a refund! Not one person was sincere or acted like they cared about any of my time or money that was wasted and stolen from me! Unfortunately because it is a big company absolutely nothing will be done about it!! The store will continue to be ran poorly and due to high demand of the area it won't matter, they will stay open and profit. A very busy Costco with big parking lot and the staff here have always been very friendly and helpful as well. The checkout is fast especially on weekend. If you are buying liquor from the liquor entrance, they are technically a separate business than Costco. So you do not need to pay with Visa only. read more

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about. Overall, I love Costco with a passion. They know how to curate products, and 99/100 times, if you buy something from Costco, it will be good. I've bought stuff ranging from paper plates to Tempurpedic mattresses and grand pianos. If I totaled up how much of my cash has gone to Costco, I would probably cry. It's just too good. Things I love: quality of products, variety of goods, free samples (especially on weekends around lunch time), parking (plenty of spaces, you just have to be willing to walk), location, return policy. Things I hate: long lines on weekends (don't check out if you're in a rush), the vultures (another name for some people trying to cut in line to get the free samples), and fools who leave their shopping carts 2 inches from my car when the cart return is only a few feet away. (I'm not bitter at all.) Highly recommended products that I buy over and over: organic milk, eggs, avocados, tangerines, frozen microwaveable broccoli, frozen microwaveable edamame, cereal on sale, rotisserie chicken, ground meat (note they don't have 80/20), sparkling water, chips on sale, vitamins, medicine, socks, goggles (when they used to carry them), etc. The list goes on. This review is regarding the young female who gave out sample chocolates for Lindt chocolates at the Costco Bunker Hill warehouse on May 11. Her nametag displayed, "Mari." Samplers work for CDS (Club Demonstration Services). The reason I am writing this is because she was so rude and unprofessional that she seems to be damaging the quality reputation of Lindt due to her ineptness, laziness, and/or unwillingness to provide a great sales for the item assigned. She would only leave 3 covered chocolates on the sample tray in spite of constant customers coming by her table. I was so appalled at her lack of professionalism that I observed a few minutes before I went to see if I would receive a better response than the other customers. No such luck. Nearly everyone who came by during the 5 minutes that I was there asked for the darkest chocolate. She would respond, "Read the bag description;" This is all I have" (referring to the 3 chocolates on display) when under the table, she had the entire variety bag of chocolates. Get real, girl! Costco is great place to shop. They always seem to have new things they get in and a step up over the other "club" store chain. It's the home of the $4.99 rotisserie chicken and $1.50 hotdog. Same price forever. The employees are polite and genuinely want to help you. Check out is faster now with the self service lanes, plus they will scan them in the cart if they are not too busy. I had an appointment to purchase two new tires. I recommend you make an appointment. I was told my car would be ready in between one hour and one hour and a half. It was ready in about an hour. One of the reasons I'm giving five stars is because you can't take honesty for granted. I had taken my wallet out of my purse and put it in the front middle compartment. I had forgotten to put it back in my purse. Everything was in my car, including my wallet with all the cash in it. The cool thing about getting tires at Costco is that you can go to the food court to get something to drink and/or eat while you wait. Recently went shopping at Costco and I'm quite impressed by their selection of Asian products! Even moreso than going to Hong Kong City mall (quite surprising to me) due to the cleanliness, organization, and deals here! I know Costco won't have everything like an Asian grocery would (duh) but big picture - the wholesale and amazing prices plus a few random surprises here and there made the experience . Asian food items: Loved seeing things like shiitake mushrooms, dried nori (seaweed), Pia cakes, dried Philippine mangos, Chinese sausages, moon cakes, boba packages, dried Pho ... like wow! I'm a huge fan of them expanding to be so inclusive! Beyond Asian foods, sales overall are AMAZING. pot pies, potstickers, cheeses (I've become addicted to their Jarlsburg and Brie), pomegranates, pea chips, pita chips, Cheez-it, egg rolls, freshly made pizzas, etc - all so much food at such great prices! Very disappointed and poor service. I was there today for a specific item. The spot in the store was was out so I walked up front and waited over 30 mins to get someone to search in the system to find they had 140 in-stock. Walked to the back, with a manager to wait another 20-30 mins for them to come back out and say they found my item and could see them but they didn't have the time and/or they were not willing to get them because they were blocked. What kind of inventory system are they running in the back? I never thought I would here after waiting 45 mins running around the entire store to be told they can see my items I specifically came for but refused to get them for me. I struggled with this review. I use Costco for planning big gatherings, paper goods, trash bags, wine, beer, cat litter (supposedly Texas stores now sell it), some clothing items and bulk over the counter medicines. I rarely get gasoline there due to the lines, I do not buy their pet food because I am very selective about what my pets eat and I do not use their body products because they are not cruelty free (the brands they carry test on animals - I have researched). I do not have a large family, so I do not need to buy in bulk very often. For what I need, Costco is great. I know there will be long lines, I prepare myself for the trek across the parking lot and I understand it is a longer time out of my day commitment to go into Costco than a regular store. All those things are my mental planning when I know I need to make a Costco visit. I guess I don't like the pressure sales when you start a new membership or when you renew. Even though it's once a year you have to go through it, that snarky attitude the member services team gives you really sticks in my mind. They honestly look at you like you're an idiot. They want you to buy the $120.00 membership verses the $60.00 one. They try to use their fancy lingo to tell you the savings are so much more than they truly are, especially for a small family like mine. You almost give up and say "forget it!" (like I did a couple years ago) and go with the $120.00 card. Stick to your guns! You are not an idiot. It's not worth the extra $60.00 because you truly do not get that "back", as they state, unless you are spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars. There are no additional perks to having the $120.00 card except for perks to Costco themselves. Do the math, people. You would be surprised how many people start a membership with the best intensions, then they find out they can't use Costco for everything they hoped/planned (variety can be limited on some products) and then that extra $60.00 is pocketed by Costco. You only benefit if you are buying super big quantities and getting your small percentage "back". I don't have anything against Costco, per say. I just wanted other people to know I have been in this situation and I do not like how they act as if that black $120.00 card so much better than the $60.00 white card. If I have missed something in my assessment, I can only apologize and blame my member services person for racking my brain so much with his pushiness that I totally tuned out the other possible "benefits". However, I doubt it. I worked in retail years ago when I was younger. We had goals to meet and those goals were getting people to sign up for credit cards and get a life insurance quote. I am almost postive the membership attendants gets some type of compensation if they get you to sign up for the $120.00 card verses the $60.00. This review is for Costco Tire Center - As the 2/5 stars describe my experience ' Could've DEFINITELY Been Better'. If you want to do business with the Costco Tire Center, get ready to have thick skin. Plainly, the Costco tire center is a pain to work with. Costco has the best prices by far, but that's the only area where it has the advantage to most other tire shops around town. First, the tires that I needed weren't physically at the store, so I needed to order it at the counter or online to have them delivered to the costco tire center. Sure no problem (Sarcasm), as it's "only" going to cost me 3-5 days for them to send it to the tire center. I paid for it and got home to schedule my appointment on the website. To my surprise, their earliest appt would be a week and a half away. I ordered my tires on 6/11 and the EARLIEST spot was 6/23. Oh, that's another 10 days!! GIVE ME A BRAKE(BREAK) - I can't because I don't have tires. SMH Fast forward - My appt time was at 3:30 pm. I get there at 3:27 pm and since there were a line of patrons, I didn't get to the front of the line until 3:39 pm. The staffer had the nerve and audacity to tell me " Don't worry, you're not late to your appointment". It took all my logic and strength to suppress my urge to lash out. DAMN RIGHT I wasn't late! If anything you just worked too damn slow and because of that, everyone was "LATE". Either way - The only good thing Costco Tire Center has going for them are prices. At Costco Tire Center, LONG GONE are the days where you go to a tire shop, pay, have them installed and leave all at once. Wow... what a horrible experience. The person in the attached photos practically verbally assaulted me, making everyone around stare at her then at me. It was such a horrible experience over a misunderstanding over debit or credit. I have used my debit card at this location many times, and for the individual named "Jesica" to keep cutting me off and assume what I have instead of taking the time to figure out the miscommunication or the issue and figure out how to resolve it. Immediately yelled at me and threw her hands at me, yelling my purchases would be voided and kept screaming for someone to void the transaction I had asked for a manager at the time it was Marisa and while I was discussing the issue with her, "Jesica" kept yelling and screaming at me where Marisa had to physically grab " Jesica" and pull her away because she was preparing to physically assault me which I will be very surprised if she still has a job after this. The way she spoke and approached me with the intention to harm me or mistreat me physically and / or verbally. The associate pictured below is named Termaine and she was with "Jesica " and witnessed the whole thing and when I asked her to elaborate what had occurred she said she wasn't there basically lying to my face and to Marisa which found out later for it to be true because I have video! After this incident, I simply handed my membership card to Marisa and expressed I wanted to cancel because of this horrible experience, and Marisa seemed okay with having my household cancel the membership and refund my money in CASH when i originally paid with debit card. Mold on fruits, rotten meat, perishables are absolutely terrible. The only saving grace for Costco are their non perishables (laundry detergent, trash bags, gloves, etc...) and their cheap gas, pharmacy and tires. Stay away from the meats, dairy, fruits and vegetables and the membership is still worth it (just barely). You're better off paying a bit more for quality, as opposed to paying for it later with who knows what kind of health problems you'll have with Costco's terrible food quality. read more

Love Costco so much! I try to come here at least once a very two weeks. Pros: High quality items, and monthly sales make some items a great deal. Rotisserie chicken for $5 is a steal and a quick weeknight dinner. I've gotten very creative with rotisserie leftovers! Items rotate so there's good variety. Good gas prices. Return policies are very reasonable. Bulk purchases are good for large families or if you consume a lot of a certain item. Kirkland dog food is surprisingly high quality (look at the ingredients on the back - comparable to more expensive dog foods). Good prices on craft beers (~$24-$30 for a 24 pack) and they rotate out their craft beers pretty often. Samples are fun to taste. Food court is good. Clothes are high quality. Random but I found my car battery here cheaper than other places. Cons: Checkout line can be long. Gas lines can also be long. I cannot leave without spending at least $100 (but that's probably just me...). Bulk shopping isn't for everyone - for smaller families or single people it might not be a good deal. Parking can be hard during peak hours. read more

Nothing beats Costco's prices or the experience of shopping at ones. This is on par with what you'll get at a Costco. Best stuff is the liquor prices (cause you know, alcohol!), the gas prices, and variety of protein products. The tire shop used the classic bait-and-switch to try to sell a higher priced tire. Their website and phone contact assured that I could buy a specific set of tires but would have to come to the store to buy them. At the store they said that the tires I wanted were not available and were back-logged so not available in the foreseeable future BUT they did have a more expensive tire for me. I'm giving 3 stars because I've never had a problem with Costco. But this one, off Bunker Hill, in particular, I won't visit their food court again. I went only for a large cheese pizza. There were two ladies that was working the counter. Mayra & Daisy. They were rushing to get people their food, no problem. But in their haste, they both took orders at the cash register, took cash payments, and went back to handling food. NEVERCHANGEDTHEIRGLOVES. Every time I seen them touch the register with gloves, I asked them both to change their gloves. I asked Mayra twice. She got an attitude twice. She got loud with me and said, "ma'am, we aren't touching the food." I told her, "you handled money and now you're handling food. Whether you are touching it or not, no one wants food and cash intermingling." She angrily took the gloves off and walked to the back. She didn't wanna serve anymore. While she went to the back, Daisy is taking orders and filling orders and they let the pizzas in the oven start to stack all over each other. If you visit this food court, make sure you see, if they are handling the register and cash that they change their gloves because that's just nasty. You should never get an attitude when a guest ask you to change your gloves. You are handling OUR FOOD! read more

This is the best store I have seen in years when it comes to hard to find items in large quantities such as Starbucks French roast coffee. (A must have for helping me wake up in the morning before work.) Although I understand that there's policy that we need to follow we did and did everything we were told we needed to do. However when we began to unpack our stuff to put the things on the counter for the associate JASON to scan. The associate Esperanza starts to grab the shopping cart while we were taking things out. My grandma explained to her that she wanted to take things out her self because there's a way she wanted to put them since she was doing 2 separate transactions and SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS PAYING FOR AND WHAT NOT BETWEEN THOSE TRANSACTIONS. MY GRANDMA NOTICED HOW THE COUNTER TOP WAS ABSOLUTELY WET because of previous groceries that were checked out. Due to this my grandma was trying to move the clothes we were buying away so they wouldn't get wet by the counter top. WE PAY FOR THE ITEMS AND EXPECT FOR OUR ITEMS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION AND NOT WET CLOTHES. My grandma asked JASON if he could stop the counter thing from moving. IT WAS VERY CLEAR THAT OUR CLOTHES WOULD BE WET IF THEY KEPT MOVING FORWARD as we could ALL clearly see it (WHICH COSTCO REGISTERS HAVE A BUTTON TO STOP THE ITEMS FROM MOVING FORWARD yet he chose not to) JASON completely ignored what my grandma said and just stared as my grandma struggled to move her items so they would not get wet. My grandma got really upset and was not asking for a lot just some simple 4 second patience so she could move her stuff away from the water. WE LEFT WITH DIRTY AND WET CLOTHES. Initially Jason was speaking to my grandma in Spanish as my grandma struggles with her English however my grandma felt really discriminated and unheard by the associate and mentioned none of this would happen if she were to not be Hispanic...After this Jason proceeded to speak to my grandma in English after he had spoken to her previously in Spanish throughout the transaction. My grandma was unable to fully understand but thankfully I was there to translate on her behalf. IF I WOULDNT OF BEEN THERE then WHO WOULDVE STOOD UP AND TRANSLATED FOR HER. This boy Jason was completely ignorant and discriminatory towards my grandma simply by the actions he made. My grandma is a very reasonable person and does not usually get upset however in this situation she has every right to be upset just how anybody else would be if they went shopping and the cashier just allows for the ITEMS THAT YOU PAY FOR TO BE DAMAGED RIGHT INFRONT OF YOUR FACE. This particular Costco is still quite terrible and has somehow gotten more Wal-Marty. The gas lines are completely chaotic because there are two ways to get to them without any sort of organized way to do it so people can cut in front of each other and the guys who work there are completely detached from helping guide people. The checkout area is also chaotic because at first it seems like there is one official line from the pharmacy side so you get in line and notice that it's not moving and then when you've already been there for 20 minutes and are close, you notice that there is yet another line from electronics side and those people have access to the same registers! The result is that you get behind what looks to be the "official line" which doesn't seem to move because everybody else from the 2nd line jump in front of the registers. Meanwhile in line, you are being yelled at by employees to go to self checkout and treat customers like cattle. This location just hasn't figured out lines and yelling at customers seems to be the norm. An acquaintance of mine was telling me how an employee was yelling at them for having paid for an item that supposedly had an unposted limit per customer which only confirms to me that this location has poor management. Even the vaccinations at this location aren't great. Due to the pandemic I have had quite a few jabs so I am very good at knowing what a good jab feels vs. bad. The 3 previous ones I got by an actual hospital nurse were so great that I barely felt anything from the injection itself. The one I got here felt like I got one from an amateur from the younger pharmacist. I know it's not something they teach at Pharmacy school (or do they?) but this was pretty bad. There used to be another one there who was quite good. I love Costco so I hope this location gets their act together. Costco is my store and I am extremely loyal! I have been a faithful customer due to the return policy. Except for a few detailed items, almost everything can be returned past the warranty. It is up to the specific club though. I have used their travel service, and the add-Ons make them the greatest bargain. I have also used their car buying service. I got two other bids, then went to Costco, theirs was the lowest. Finally, I use their auto service referral. It gives you 15% off of parts and car repair, I love Costco!!!!! read more

I visited this location on 3/4/2025 and it was the worst experience of my life ! I was racially profiled and discriminated against by a manager named Brenda Limon! I visited the store in hopes to spend 2 promotional gift cards I received for transferring my business phones over to AT&T. Upon arrival I was informed that in order to shop here o would have to purchase a membership, which was fine. I walked up to the membership counter where I was met by a friendly associate named Yasmine who begin to start the membership process for me. This is when Brenda who was not at all involved walked over to me and started to ask me weird questions, questions like "where did you get those gift cards?" And "Do you work for AT&T" .... O didn't see how those questions were relevant or her business but I answered them all! Then to make things worse she took both of my gift cards and said "I'm going to verify these with my manager because I've never seen them before" to which I replied fine. Mind you I wasn't trying to even use them she just saw them lying on the counter and took it upon herself to interrogate me. She walks off with both of my cards and tells Yasmine to stop doing my membership. She returns about 4 minutes later and says I can't get a membership there and my gift cards can't be used ! I asked why to which she replied "because your drivers license is the temporary one from the dmv and we don't accept those. By this time her attitude is really nasty and I'm gettin a little upset . I state to her that I received my drivers license just 5 days ago and this is what was issued to me by the DMV which makes it a government issued document and is acceptable anywhere by law. She states that it's "Not acceptable" and that I should "GET A PASSPORT"! I am a person of color and I could feel the micro aggression in her voice as she smirked. She slid my license and gift cards back to me and asked me to leave. I stated I would like the number to corporate. Instead she gave me the number to that store and told me to press 1 for admin. She then ran to the office to prepare to answer the call I was about to make! I called the number and pressed 1 where I spoke to a Tino C who claimed he was also a store manager and said he is siding with her decision to deny me membership! I told him I was sure that wasn't corporate policy to which he replied "well get them to call me and tell me"! By this time I'm embarrassed standing at the counter holding my gift cards and drivers license o was just told we're "fake, not valid" inform of everyone. I googled the number to corporate and got a higher up on the line. I stated to them that I was being discriminated against in their store and told the entire story..... to my surprise i was told that nowhere in their policy can they turn away any kind of government issued identification and that the store was acting "totally out of order" . They put me on hold and made a direct call to Mr.Tino. 5 minutes later Mr. Tino comes running down stairs walking with the speed of lightning towards me . His tone and attitude have miraculously made a 180 and he is all of a sudden "SO SORRY" for the inconvenience! He all of a sudden can now accept my identification! Also he can now all of a sudden verify my gift cards and prints me out a gift receipt stating their value! Not only that now all of a sudden he "doesn't want me to have to waste any more of my time by waiting in those long check out lines and will escort me to the front of the line when I am done shopping"! Brenda magically disappeared and never came back to apologize or anything ! That store is horrible and I'll never shop there again! It's Costco where there is usually long lines for checking out, especially on weekends. I personally avoid going there on weekends. I thought I was smart to visit on Monday, Jan 20, 2020; I saw the long queues at the gas pumps around 2 pm which was odd. Then I suddenly remember it's Martin Luther King where some working people are off. I'm currently not working so I thought it was just a regular Monday. I regretted coming but needed to return a perishable item. Waited about 30 minutes and there was only one register opened for handling returns. I was looking for cornish hen but couldn't find them. An associate said that was a seasonal item and needed to check back in the future. I pick up my usual stuffs and got to sample the Korean honey citrus tea which was refreshing. The check-out lines at 3 pm was insanely long where there were 5 registers. Then you had to have your receipt checked before exiting and that was another 10 mins in line. In conclusion, Costco may save you money on products but definitely not time. Guess what? TIME IS MONEY!!! read more
