Meats and vegetables always guaranteed to be good (or normal). Pre packaged meals are a hit or miss definitely. My 3 stars lies within the staff. I went to customer service about something as simple as not being able to log in to my Costco account on my phone. The older lady that helped me from the get go was trying to find a way to get my husband and I to leave. No real help at all. An excuse for everything, even blaming my phone model for my issue (it's an iPhone 17 pro). Then talked to my husband like he was a child, reminding him that his password is his responsibility. Yes of course it is, but that wasn't the issue. The issue was that Costco emails weren't going through. So the reset password option couldn't work. Since we wouldn't leave she got two other staff to help us and they explained that the Costco app is ran by different people, which I get, but they did give me a number to call and some advice which was what I was expecting but not getting from the first lady. read more

I visited Costco today as I have many times and I reflected on how big an image Costco has been on our community and my enjoyment of it. Our local Costco is one of the very best managed businesses that I frequent in my area. Many of the same loyal employees have been working at this location since it opened. That doesn't happen by accident. It's great to see so many familiar faces on a regular basis. The fabulous gas prices, the great selection, fresh meats and seafood, and all the great frozen food items. I can't imagine living without Costco and that rotisserie chicken. read more

This is one of my favorite stores in Montgomery. We go here about once a week to get groceries and things we like to find along the way. So much to chose from at good prices. I find stuff all the time and look up the price and sure enough it's marked down a good bit lower. The return policy and warranty can't be beat anywhere. I have had to take back a few things and with no problem at all. The staff is always polite "mostly". To buy in bulk and save a good bit of money this is the place. read more

Offered free Iphone, Iphone and iPad Ensure you get in writing a full disclosure on what the monthly charges are going to be. They play a game of future discounts but cannot provide the actual monthly billing cost, just show a computer screen of the costs but will nevefr actually put it in a written form. I actually called at&t and they also could not give me the final montly costs either. Its been 2 months I returned the free phone per the return slip - they acknowledge the receipt but have contuned to charge my credit card mothly fees of $150 and get the run a round trying to get the refund and stop the reoccuring charge Ive spent hous on the phone the past 2 days trying to resolve the problem Needles to say when it sounds like its a too good of a deal it's Not! read more

I am actually addicted to Costco I love this store so much and I would come in here every day if I could LOL. They have a great selection of things that are reasonably priced for how much you get. I love their wine selection and the wine in particular that I love is cheaper here than at most other places in the city. It's overall a great place to buy things in bulk and the ambience here is great as well! But it has been busier here because of the pandemic for obvious reasons. The only qualm that I have with his Costco is that they sold out of the wine advent calendar too quickly and I did not get a chance to get one haha read more

Let me start by saying I am a huge Costco advocate - love everything about it and have forced many family and friends to become members. Their return policy, products, and customer service are usually top notch. I bought flowers there yesterday to put in a bouquet at home and after only a few hours they were wilted and dead. I took photos and went to customer service to see if I could be refunded. The man was very kind and said if I brought them in he could refund me. I turn around, go home, bring the dead flowers in a grocery bag and wait in line again only to be told by some lady that they won't take them, it's an outside vendor so it's not their problem, I can't get a refund, and then she refuses to at least throw them away for me. I spent an hour of my day on this stupid return to get nothing but a rude answer and a paid for dead bag of flowers. This Costco was a standard Costco. It didn't really have anything exceptional about it. It was pretty empty during the day on Thursday afternoon (this was the emptiest I've ever seen any Costco). This seemed like an older Costco. This Costco has a lot of baked goods. I got some mini chocolate croissants, and I haven't seen those at other Costcos. This one didn't sell any hard liquor, but that is probably a state law. On the way out the woman really looked at everyone's receipts very thoroughly. I don't know if this is a store policy for this Costco, or if she is just a thorough worker. read more

I think Costco is my favorite place on earth. The seafood, meat, cheese, and produce are as good as it gets anywhere in Montgomery. The staff is always friendly and they make you feel like they are actually happy to see you. You can't beat their customer policies. I bought up to the "Executive" level of membership and have never again had to pay for membership due to the cash back benefit. **Update** So last summer I used Costco services for something I never really thought about before. Blinds and shades. I bought adjustable shades for the window of my new home. I got a great deal because it came with a rebate gift card after my purchase. I get a lot of complements on them because they look unique. And the customer service was really great! One broke and all I did was call and told them about the problem and came and replaced it right away. I'm very pleased with them and will definitely look into using Costco for other services. Also their foam box mattresses are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I even got some for my sister's house. Great store, friendly staff, delicious samples, good prices. I'm just glad I don't have to drive all the way to the Eastern Blvd to go to a big box store. However, I don't like that they raised the price of the executive membership. This was my first trip to a Costco and I really liked it. Trouble is, I really don't have a need to buy in bulk on a normal basis, especially not when I'm on vacation! To make a long story short, I was actually tricked into going to Costco when we usually just hit the local grocery store for some grub when we're in town, footed the whole bill, and after a family fight ensued, ended up leaving everything I had bought for my family to eat behind. Every Costco is different. It's interesting as a person visiting from out of town to see the different items for sale and different layout in another Costco. But usually you can count on a few things being universal across all Costco's: good prices, rotisserie chickens for $5, hard-to-find, but helpful when you do employees, samples & clean stores. I WAS AMAZED!!! When you pay your money, you expect good service! However, today I received GREAT SERVICE!!! The manager at the local Costco (Cory) asked me to give them a shot whenever I get my next set of tires. So when my husband decided to price tires he checked with them. We received a great rate online and had them shipped to the Eastchase location. I got a text message notification when they arrived. From there it was an unexpected pleasure. I arrived at the appointment time, they took my key, I went shopping, maintenance guy came and updated me when they were almost done, and then Cory came out to the food court seating area to give me a thorough overview of my tire type, the warranty, and the service follow up dates. He already had my copy of the entire packet on my passenger side seat, and the car was parked at the front entrance so I did not have to walk all the way around the store to get it. I looked at the packet, and Cory took the time to fill out the tire warranty slip for me so all I have to do is put it in the mail. I am beyond pleased!!!! Thank you Cory! I am sending this review to the corporate office, yelp, and dropping off a copy at the local store. I recommend them to everyone! read more

This place is a train wreck compared to the other Costcos I've been to; from the way they bag your groceries to management attitudes. My chips, smashed from their handling of it at the checkout. I wish they could cut cost of running Costco by firing the baggers. I'd like to put my own groceries back in the cart without smashing them. Policy that management recited was different from the Costcos in California (can't pay for membership in check, must be cash). Later, a higher up manager apologized for the inconvience, but $3 in charges from the ATM and 30 mins extra dealing with this issue, I ultimately paid the price for their inadequacy. To the management's surprise, I've been a Costco member before this one was built. Also... Costco pizza is normally WAY better than the pizza they serve here. Pros: California produce. I go twice a month for big shopping trips. I have never had a problem with people "rough" handling my products. Lines are to be expected during peak hours. We stopped for gas and for a treat for the kids on our long road trip. Costco is consistent. Very friendly staff and while it was not the same layout of my local Costco; I was able to find the things needed once I figured the configuration. To access the store takes a bit of effort, but upon exit you have easy access back to the interstate. read more

I have been to many Costco's and I am from Washington where their customer service is exceptional. I have been to the Montgomery Alabama's Costco and I am starting to understand why they have very few customers. My first visit as I was walking in, 2 young ladies were ahead of me and 2 males were standing at the door galking at the girls behinds, they had no interest in checking memberships of other people. I felt like I was outside a bar. I went inside and said something to the manager who did go speak to them, however I could hear that manager later talking to other employees using the F word. I walked by one of the ladies giving samples and she would not even acknowledge me.. only people of a certain race. 2nd visit went to customer service and it was the poorest service I have ever seen. When I was leaving the girl that is supposed to check receipts was letting us all stand in line while she chit chatted and hugged friends of hers. 3rd visit just today. I went when the store opened. Walked back to the meat department and it was only me and one employee filling the case... totally ignored me. I am used to very friendly employees. When I went to check out. I added my items to the conveyor belt and when I went to check out, the employee was barely friendly, ignored my conversation and her helper, went to help the person behind me unload her groceries. I am middle age with a limp due to hip replacements. Then when i was done with my transaction, the checker just pushed my buggy maybe a foot and proceeded to help the next person, which I had to walk to where the checker was standing to get the buggy! I was shocked at the level of disrespect and when I turned around to look for a manager.. their were 2 employees just talking to themselves.. not caring or watching what was going on around them. Buyer beware! We typically LOVE Costco, but at this location they charged is $40 for an item we did not purchase. We we brought it to their attention they checked all our items, confirmed we were charged $39.99 plus tax for an item that we did not get, and refunded us the money. It was almost 7 o'clock and most tire stores were closed - those that were open rudely said they couldn't help us even though it was an emergency.
