Stopped in here looking for home items during Memorial Day weekend sales. In need of a variety of items, I was hoping to score some great deals. However, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to how things were organized. I found a set of pots and pans, but they were sitting on a dining table set without any sort of packaging or pricing. Then when I went looking for assistance, the employees were clustered in one part of the store. Will all the disorganization, lack of service, and weird/cold atmosphere, I decided to leave without purchasing anything. If you aren't looking for anything in particular, you might find a good deal, but if you have something specific in mind, I'd recommend shopping somewhere else. read more

WATCH WHEN THEY RING YOU UP! The employee who was ringing me up would not sell me the shoes for the marker price of $4.99. She said they used to be 4.99 bc they had a lot. But she said "best she could do" was $5.99. I'm sorry, but the sign which she could clearly see for the boots on the rack are 4.99 and I was getting several pairs. I Felt she was charging me more just to be rude. Many items are not marked at all with a price. I asked if she could honor their sign since it is false advertising and she said "best she could do" bs. Poorly managed store. Oh also, masks in a basket were "everything $1" but she rang them up $4.99. Get it together Yard sale store. read more

Very chaotic! There was only one person working and the store looked very messy. I hope they get better management in there!

If you can think of it, they probably have it! Want a deal, this is a good place to start before buying full price. Items may be in working condition but have a small knick or dent, and they drop the price. Massage tables, refrigerators, generators, bathroom counters, coffee pots, yard and garden equipment, truck bed covers, they have a bit of everything! read more

IF the good manager and employees are working, this place is great; however, there are two women there who are horrible and I wouldn't go in there again if they're working. I asked about a bag that had a hole in it due to where the pricing gun had pierced it. The one girl called the other over and they told me I should just buy it because it's a small hole. I asked if they would discount it for the hole and they stood there and talked ABOUT me in Spanish. Perhaps you should consider the fact that people UNDERSTAND what you're saying and DON'T appreciate the attitude. I also didn't appreciate her grabbing the bag from me and saying if I wouldn't buy it she would. Imagine how annoyed I was to get in my car and discover they also overcharged me for the items I purchased. If I see these women working again when I walk in, I will walk back out. Smyrna has a far better store with much nicer employees. read more

Very poor customer service from a young guy with blue hair and glasses (Jamal Richardson) who claim to be the store manager. Yard Sale emailed me a $15 gift card for my birthday and I use it to purchase ear buds. Sadly, the ear buds didn't work properly. Although I returned the ear buds to the store within the 3 day return policy, the guy who claimed to be the store manager (Jamal Richardson) refused to give me a store credit because it was purchased with a "free" gift card. He not only was very rude, he also attempted to insult my intelligence by asking me "do I understand what free mean." After a 5 minutes debate with him, he finally allowed me to exchange the broken ear buds for other merchandise. I shop at Yard Sale quite often and have NEVER had a bad experience at the Smyrna location. The Smyrna staff is very friendly and professional. read more

Best store in Murfreesboro. Staff is awesome and great discounts on all kinds of stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Junky and dirty merchandise. Staff has a "couldn't care less" attitude and saw several goofing off on their cell phones. Prices are OK but you're just as likely to end up with something damaged/broken and have to return it for "store credit". Store is very disorganized and cluttered looking. Not sure how they won any awards for "best in city or county" unless they had their friends and employees vote multiple times. read more
