We went in the other evening to get pizza and ice cream so we walked through the out door. We have been told by employees there before that you do NOT need a membership to eat there (even though we have one). One of the ladies at the exit started yelling at us, screaming "sir sir!!!! Sirrr!!! I need to see your card!!!!" My husband replied that we were grabbing some food from the food court and she replied very rudely that we still were expected to have a membership and show our card for that. So which is it? Please educate your employees on the rules so that other people aren't chased down and yelled at. read more

Costco is one of my favorite stores, but the locations I've been to are usually so busy and crowded that they give me anxiety. This store is so awesome because it's not as busy as the one on 183. The newness of this place cant be beat. It's brand new so naturally will be busy, except Costco is usually always busy unless you go during the week during the day. Pro: lots of parking and it's easy to get in and out of unlike the research boulevard location. Cons: my boyfriend and I share and account and I just handed the cashier my member card but my boyfriend wanted to pay. We weren't allowed to use my member card and his credit card. This seems weird especially because we're both on the account. We have never had this issue at any other Costco. It's really annoying especially since both of us don't always carry our cards. No longer a Member In July I did a Google search for places that do passport photos; Costco was listed with an offer of photos for $4.99 as walgreens wanted 14.99 I thought, there is a new Costco opening in Pflugerville, I put in my zip and found the new store would be open July 26. So I joined planning to go to the store after a trip in August and my first visit would save my wife and I $20.00. A third of the cost of Membership. The new store did not have a Photo Shop and we were informed Photo Shops were being phased out. Customer service told us might be one at the 183 store. I really did not want to drive around hoping to find a store with a Photo Shop, since they did not have time to check for sure where a photo shop was ....we did not have time to be Costco customers...got our $60.00 back. Spent 1/2 that at Walgreen got our passport photos in 25 minutes and we saved $30. Yea Walgreens. read more

I would have given them better rating, but unfortunately I've encountered a rude cashier (03/18/2030). I understand with all this coronavirus going on people panic and things get hectic, but that doesn't mean we should be spoken to like a child. I was at the checkout lane maybe about 4 feet from the people in front of me . Out of nowhere the cashier (female) told me "I need to step back until She said it was okay to come forward". The nerve !!!!Following protocol for people's safety doesn't mean she should talk to customers in such manner. D'ANGELO at the gas pumps was very friendly and helped me get to a pump quicker by informing me the hose will reach to the opposite side of the vehicle that the pump is on. Awesome service. I've not had any complaints about the inside of the store. Everyone I've come in contact with is nice and accommodating while shopping. read more

Live in Cedar Park and frequent that location very often. Came to this location to check it out while being in the area. Very happy and satisfied with the new store. Costco is Costco. Cool feature is ordering your food on the computer screen then paying there and picking it up at the food counter. Staff was friendly. Went on Thursday afternoon around 11 and it was really empty! I HAD to write a review about the management at the Pflugerville, TX location. Stuff happens, and it is how you deal with it that matters. Soooo...Stuff kept going wrong, and the people I dealt with in Pflugerville listened AND took action. To summarize, I kept paying for a computer in Austin that had none in stock; wasting my time to end in refunding money... time consuming. Austin said 2 were in Pflugerville. I still can't understand why my purchase wasn't valid nor why they couldn't call and hold it for me, but okay off I went traveling 1 hour away from my house. It happened AGAIN! I bought it and nope.. nada.. none in stock. However, I got the display. Too bad they sent me home with the wrong power cord. I was looking at Another 2 hour drive. The management sent me the proper cord and an envelope to return the improper one (so this doesn't happen to another person) I was grateful that I didn't have to travel 2 hours... again read more

I have visited this store several times as we're staying with relatives in the general area to help with medical situations and I really wanted to like the store. I get that it's a new store, it's bigger than the one in Cedar Park, Tx which is where we would go during my previous stays. However, the employees in this store are for the most part rude. I haven't encountered or seen one manager/assistant mgr with an approachable demeanor that wasn't condescending; all seem very arrogant. I even witnessed one snapping at one of their employees who was demonstrating a product. Maybe with it being a new store some of those employees will come down to earth once the newness wears off. Until then, we'll be driving to one of the other locations as this stores is not appealing to us. read more

Love this costco!! The location is perfect. Super easy to get in and out. It has a big costco gas station right there with plenty of pumps and a handful of attendants to help if you need. The liquor store is right next door, with a good selection and great prices. The costco building itself is big, spacious, and super clean. Everything is tidy and well laid out. The merchandise/prices speak for themselves - it's costco, so you know what you're getting into: awesome Kirkland brand products, cheaper bulk sizes, fantastic wine selection, fresh produce, awesome bakery, good quality meats, etc etc etc. The food court is right behind the registers, and who doesn't like cheap, delicious foods when they're on the go? My only complaint is that they've removed the chocolate soft serve to make way for an açaí flavor....:( not my favorite, tastes a little soapy to me...I just want the classic chocolate and vanilla swirl. Note this review is of THIS Costco. Normally I enjoy going to Costco. This particular one provided the worst shopping experience I have had in years (no exaggeration). People were jammed up trying to check out, they are closing lanes down with no notice and no way to navigate to an open lane, the checker slammed our food around and never uttered a word to us, then on the way out they tried to up sell a higher level membership. Very clean and organized aisles. Friendly sample people- and just having samples is awesome. Very efficient cashier and cashier assistant that loaded my items and put everything back in my cart. I was missing a part of an item where I had to buy two and she got it in record time. Plus it's about 5 minutes from home which helps!:) read more

the customer service here is horrible! i went in to by groceries for my mom cause she is ill and can't drive to grocery shop right now and i was using her membership card and i get my groceries and go to the checkout and they immediately called the manager over and she has a horrible attitude saying i can't use my mom's membership and is being very rude the cashiers start putting my groceries back in the card and walking away with it, i politely ask her to stop and if i can have my groceries back and she has a horrible attitude and asked if we live and the area and asked if my mom is coming, i had to say yes cause she wouldn't have given me the groceries back! i am outraged! read more

This review is specifically about the tire center. The rest of the store is pretty good as Costcos go. I ordered my tires online and scheduled a time to have them installed. After waiting at an empty kiosk for 15 minutes and lots of scrambling around, I was told that my tires were missing. They had logged them as already picked up (?). They forced me to buy the tires again and then stand in the refund line for 30 minutes to get my refund back on my online order. Now we are almost at the hour mark (when the tires should have been on my car). I wait patiently for additional hour and a half before I go back to check on the car. Apparently they had forgotten about my car and had just started! They apologized and then spend roughly another 30 minutes placing the new tires. All in all, my one hour expected appointment time turned into a 3 hour ordeal. I will not work with these people again and I strongly recommend against it for anyone else. That tire center really needs to clean up whatever kind of management they have going. I will pay higher pricers to go elsewhere and have competent people replace my tires next time. I am honestly concerned about their workmanship given how disorganized they seem to be. read more

My wife went their to have a tire looked at for likely patch. She was called and told it was in a location that could not be patched....so said go ahead and replace. Then got a convenient call a few minutes later saying the other side "wasn't good" and that she should replace both tires. Based on that she advised to proceed. I went with her to pick up and asked to look at tires. The first tire had a small nail right in the middle where it absolutely can be patched, he pointed out another spot but had not punctured tire well at all so did not need to be patched but based on that was the reason for upwelling the repair. As for the other tire I requested to look at it and it had over 8mm tread with no reason to be replaced. Ask to speak to manager and he said well just drive the car back in and we'll put your old ones on after car had been there for over 4hrs. Will never be replacing tires with this location. Will attempt to take advantage if the opportunity presents itself! read more

COSTCO will really save you if you need bulk items. They may not have the variety of most other stores, but what you can buy and the amount is far better than HEB, Walmart, Randall's and any other local grocery store chains. The BEST thing of all is QUALITY of the items- 2nd to none, period and point blank. We've shopped at Costco since we've been in Austin and have NO complaints about them. Rarely have we had to return anything purchased and once again the quality beats Sam Club hands down. So what there is a cost for membership, but the savings we've accumulated over the years is the better than the rest; oh I'm repeating myself again. Believe it or not the gas prices are most of the times better than any gas station except for time to time, Walmart beats them if you have the Walmart gift card. The ease of leaving the parking lot beats the hell out of the Research park store (where we shopped forever), but we live close to Pflugerville now so its a much better drive now. Oh well, I can only speak from our past experiences only so see for yourselves! read more

We joined Costco today because their optical prices sounded good. 5 minutes after joining we were told they could not make glasses in my prescription. Went to Sam's Club and not only were they less expensive, but they had no problem with my prescription. Not only did we have issues with the Optical department, but we found several things Sam's does better. First Sam's has free-wifi so you can compare prices, and a cool app you can make in store purchases on your smart phone and along with plenty of self-checkouts. Another thing Sam's does better is they take more credit cards, have longer hours on Saturday and sell milk by the gallon. Costco makes you buy two at a time which is not great for smaller families and wastes a lot of cardboard by having the gallons boxed up. I read more

I've been going to Costco stores for many years and my wife and I are very disappointed in this store. The produce and other items are notoriously close to their expiration date. Sometimes it's the day of or w/ in a few days. Cuties, watermelons, strawberries, squash, you name it and it's bad w/ in a day or two of getting home. I bought two hole organic chickens that were bad the next day. The last time I went the chicken area smelled of rotten chicken. They don't seem to keep the same things in stock as the costco on research, which can be irritating. Last time we checked out the staff were more concerned w/ talking to one another then providing customer service. It's worth the time to go to another costco. read more

Rude and RACIST! I shop at this location because it is the closest to my home. Well I strongly feel as if some employees are racist and super rude! We shop here for our business but I am going to tell my mom to shit down the business membership with them and just go to Sams. First off, one day the cashier said "Flores" looked at me up and down ( I am half Pakistani and half Mexican but do not look Hispanic) and said " I need to see some ID". This was the first time they had asked for it, she didn't believe me at all. I contacted the manager about that and he said Costco cashiers ask everyone for their ID when that cashier did not ask for the other member's in front of me ID. Second time, we bought a tv for our business, my husband pulled up at front and was having trouble putting it in the car, I couldn't help him because I was pregnant at that time. I saw two employees look at him and laugh instead of help! That is extremely rude. My husband is middle eastern and I felt that was not nice at all. When I saw another Caucasian family being assisted with their merchandise and put in the car. Third time, I came shopping with my infant and I always get assistance loading the groceries to a separate cart (my baby is in his carrier in the cart) and get help loading it into the car. Well the Caucasian lady that "helped" me this time did not seem to even want to assist me. First, she took the cart with my baby and kept it on the opposite side of the register, you do not separate a baby from his mom! Then, when I asked her for assistance, she made a face, grunted while taking my cart to the car, I parked in handicap & had my permit because I am handicap. She just left the cart and left! She did not help me load the groceries at all! Sams club always treats us very kindly and they are so amazing they help load my groceries to the car. This is groceries for our business, so yes we spend a lot of money! I took forever loading the stuff to my car because of my disability after my c-section! The worst customer service I have ever received! Oh yeah and NO ONE checked my ID this time, so no they do not check all customer's identifications. read more
