I've been in here a few times over the years, and I am always able to find what I need and, occasionally, a few things that I didn't know that I needed. Like most (but not all) HEBs, this one is well stocked, and the staff is attentive. I really appreciate the HEB app for helping make my grocery list and finding things in the store. The curbside and delivery services have both improved dramatically since 2019. So far, my order is always ready early, and the fruits and veggies are in good condition. As for shopping in-store, they often forget to ask if I have coupons, and they rarely put my cold items in my insulated bag. But otherwise, the staff is efficient and friendly. read more

Sorority meeting....coffee cup or ornament gift exchange...no coffee cup or ornament to exchange. Hark, HEB grocery store appears in the distance. Yes, I must make a pit stop at HEB to see what I can find. With lighting speed, I found an ornament and gift bag. However, I did not find any tissue...yikes! What would a Girl Scout do? As the cashier was ringing me out, I asked if he had some tissue. He said, "no" however he did provide me a paper towel looking material. Beggars cannot be choosers. So, I happily took the material and wrapped my jack pot ornament. Thanks HEB for rescuing me on this gift exchange adventure. When I got to my sorority meeting, all ornaments were being removed from their original packaging and put in clear bags provided by the sorority. So, I did not need my bag nor tissue (actually tissue-like) material. This HEB appears to be a super store, which means it is large with a huge variety of items from groceries to clothing and everything in between. read more

It was a walk in the park this morning! This was my experience today. I used curbside pickup at this grocery store location this morning as I was in the area. Overall, the experience was smooth. My order was completed on time and the process was efficient. However, the curbside pickup area felt like an afterthought compared to newer H-E-B Plus locations. The employees had to walk a bit farther to reach the designated curbside pickup spots and there weren't as many spots available as in other locations. That said, I didn't have any trouble finding a curbside parking spot, which was a plus. One thing to watch out for is that the curbside area is a one way, but some drivers don't seem to follow that. Vehicles go the wrong way over here so be cautious. Curbside pick up here was convenient and will definitely do it again if in the area. read more

This is probably my favorite HEB. Employees are always friendly and everything stays fresh. Even on the busiest of days, Sunday, the store doesn't feel crowded. Although, one thing they can improve on is their flower selection. My wife loves hydrangeas and they almost never have any. I don't think it's because they're sold out. There's like never a section for them but i know if I go to the HEB off 130 and gattis they have them. Other than that. I love my HEB. read more

Garbage. So if you want a refill, you cannot get it same day. According to the girl I spoke to today, you have to ask for refills 3 days ahead of time bc she said there's inly 2 people working today. Also, mentioned that they used to get 80 a day and now get 400 a day so she can't refill this bc she needs to save her time for emergency meds. So those customers can get there scripts. Why is it OK to walk In with a new script but I can get a refill? Both meds are needed. Another thing was that refill meds (what she meant was maintenance meds) are refilled in San Antonio and she had to order them from s.a. are you kidding me? Okay..... this specific HEB is the best one so far.. I order alot of delivery and they only made a mistake 2x. I order every week for the last 3yrs . 98% at a time, all my orders are perfect....... I am comparing this to the other HEB in Austin, specifically the one that serves the domain area because I have lived in that area and used Delivery and 100% at a time the order is wrong, missing, not available or it is not delivered. No exaggerating, because it was never correct. So I am happy with this HEB. Even the floor managers and the curbside people smiles and greets you when they see you while you are shopping. I think it is what makes this different. Also, the cashier's are friendly and genuinely ask how was your day. When I moved here from Leander I was very sad to be leaving my store but this one has really grown on me! It's always well stocked. When I do a pick up I rarely have a substitution. The team are always so friendly and kind. I'm kind of blown away every time but how they go out of their way to say hi and make sure you're finding what you need. Overall a great store!!! read more

Market is well stocked with everything one needs. Staff is AMAZING and so FRIENDLY. Docking one star for their store made food. Regarding the chocolate square cake slice with fudge icing from their bakery however I'd give them one star. It is far too sweet and has this chemical/artificial taste to it. It's terrible. Same with their ready made food like their kale salad and rotisserie chicken. While they taste fine there's way too many processed and artificial ingredients in their hot food. This review is for H‑E‑B Bakery for my wedding cake. After looking at several places for wedding cakes, most were out of my budget so I decided to go with H‑E‑B after hearing from other's recommendations. I decided to go with a simple design with minimal floral frosting decorations and it was under $200 for a 3 tier cake with 3 different filling flavors for each tier. They don't do deliveries so you'll have to pick up on the day of or the day prior. The whole process was pretty easy and straight forwarded, staff was helpful and friendly. I only wished they did cake tastings or slices to try because it does run on the tad sweeter side for my taste. My 3 tier cake also looked smaller than I expected, but ended up being just the right portioning for my small wedding. read more

This H-E-B is excellent. It has a grocery store, it has curbside pick up, it has delivery it has a pharmacy. It has a drive-through pharmacy. It has a gas station and a car wash. The prices are exceptional. Who could want for more! Inside they sell groceries, and they also sell clothing and HomeGoods. I have been shopping here for a few months and I like it very much. I also get my prescriptions here, and it couldn't be any easier. The people that work here are very nice, always. I've never seen someone in a bad mood who works here since I started coming here five months ago. I highly recommend this H-E-B! read more

The pharmacy tech was extremely rude. She scoffed when I told her my last name and rolled her eyes. I then asked a question and she repeated it back to me in a condescending manner and answered me in a clipped manner as if I should know the answer. I won't pick up any more medications from this location after this prescription. I hope they get their stuff together. read more

The women in the floral department at this location are anything but helpful. On numerous occasions, they go out of their way to shrug off those that need assistance.... For myself, on 4 separate instances and I empathize with the others I have seen receive the same treatment. Their helpfulness consists of showing irritation when customer assistance as needed and will NEVER go above and beyond to so much as blow up a balloon, if it is an inconvenient time for them. Suggestions or opinions or assistance with purchasing combinations of flowers?? 'Not their job' ... 'can't do that' ... 'go somewhere else' one said when she didn't think my children or I could hear. If you are interrupting a personal conversation they carry, you Will know and be ignored or get rolling eyes of some sort, talking negative about customer in front of other customers.. are only 2 examples I have room to write down here. I would suggest to not visit the floral department at this specific location when Maria or April are working, especially. ALL of which these negative visits I have had, April was one of the women that was working. I have felt shy of asking for a refund for the beautiful flowers I recently purchased, just by the gut wrenching feeling I had spending so much money from a department with the lack of camaraderie, care, concern or respect for individuals that you should have working in any field of the customer service industry. The pharmacy has about 2 very kind and helpful associates. The other associates make you feel as though you are an inconvenience half of the time and are inconsistent with each other and across the board, regarding transfers to other outside pharmacies (especially with Rx coupons) and lack person-ability. It was always almost as though you'd have to flip a coin on what type of service you'd receive when calling, so I made my switch to a closer HEB pharmacy which has worked out better and worth the extra drive time. All of the other associates within the store, superior for the most part. At the Self checkout, even close to closing time when coupons are not scanning & when all are ready to call it a day, I have yet to experience anything less than super friendly assistance and ready and willing to assist. which is why this is a 2 start rating and not a "1". read more

I came to pick up my children's medicine at the drive thru and the person at the window said it will be a few minutes and asked if I can come in or drive around and get back in line. I said sure. I parked and went inside. I get to the window and. They tell me we are closed. Why would you tell me to come in or drive to the end of the line if you are about to close. Now my children are without their meds. To top it off, I didn't notice she was closing the drive thru as I was pulling off. Like who does that? Customer service has gone to crap!!!!! We were in Texas over Christmas, and visited HEB three times during that week. The store is large and was well stocked. I loved their specialty selections, including a whole area for vinegars, store-made dips and spreads, and bulk items. There store brands were very good in most cases. Staff was always nice and polite. I like that it's a very big store, and the majority of it is food - not hardware, or automotive. although there is an area for kitchen items, which makes sense. . This was my first-ever visit to H-E-B but it won't be my last. I will literally travel to go to an H-E-B now. I will stop at them when I see them. They are greatness. Why? Lots of space - and this was a small store, staff told me. Aisles are wide allowing you to shop without weaving and stopping because of other shoppers. Polished concrete floors and good lighting make you feel good in the space. And the products - normal every day grocery stuff at good prices, plus wonderful Texas-curated products. Beautiful flowers, pinatas in the party supplies and tons and tons of produce - along with a fresh juice station. The HEB I have been going to for more then a year isn't really an HEB at all... it is a facsimile of an HEB... a fraud... a poor representation of just exactly what a real HEB is! This HEB, on the other hand, is the real deal... HUGE, filled with goodness and selection, transporting to grocery Mecca, and a delight to shop in! Clean, stocked, and just wonderful! There was so much going on. There were so many more selections. There were sample stations all over. And when I went to check out... there were cashiers at every lane! Recently I rushed to the new HEB to grab something to eat. When I got to the self check out, I discovered I left my wallet at home. I reached in my pocket and counted the cash I had, and decided removing one item would put me in reach. I asked the young man overseeing self checkout to please remove one item, which he did. But it still left me owing $0.38. I was trying to decide what else to remove, when he pulled out his personal debit card and paid my $0.38!! I tried to get him to cancel that, but he just said 'it's only 38 cents'. To him maybe it was, but to me it was an indication of the great people they have working there. I was too stunned to think of getting his name, but I know I'll see him again someday at the store, and can't wait to thank him appropriately. read more

If you live in the area you know the King of grocery stores is HEB and there is no dobut - each location is a little different and has some neighborhood touches. This HEB is in Round Rock which means they still have plastic bags. This store is one of the large ones and sometimes the layout on these large stores can be rather annoying. The layout in this store is actually pretty good, unfortuantely things I normally buy are on opposite ends of the store, so if I forget something in one area it is a pain to go all the way accross the store - part of their plan no dobut. The only complaint I have is on the checkout. After 9pm your choices are pretty slim, a few express lanes would be good. read more

Used H-E-B bakery to get my wedding cake because I've always loved their selection. The cake turned out tasting great, however they didn't follow instructions on the color I wanted. I asked for lavender roses and they gave me baby blue roses. They then tried to convince me that it was indeed lavender. It was the day of the wedding and after half an hour I gave in because we were on a very tight schedule. I asked my photographer to edit the roses to the color I wanted. I know it's a small thing but it was important for me to have the right color for my wedding and I didn't get it. read more

This pharmacy has *very* poor electronic notification. I had 2 prescriptions sent in, when the first was ready they sent a "Your prescription is ready" notice so I went in. I discovered only one was ready, and they would not escalate getting the second ready so I will need to make 2 trips. In addition (today is Sunday) I cannot speak to the pharmacy manager or their alternate until Wednesday. Not happy. Moving my clients to another pharmacy. read more

I normally don't grocery shop early in the morning, but I just dropped my husband off at work and ran into HEB to pick up a few things. I saw some alcohol on sale and picked it up, not realizing the time. The cashier and bagger didn't even acknowledge I was there when I got to the checkout line; they just started scanning and bagging; something happened when the cashier scanned the alcohol that caused her to call a manager to put in their code. Then, when it was all said and done, she handed me my receipt and said, "I can't sell that to you; it's not 7 am yet". Then proceeded to ignore me and go back to talking to the bagger! I thought I was in Walmart for a minute there. I am so shocked at how rude EVERY employee was, especially the cashier, manager, and bagger. This is my first time having an issue at an HEB, and it was enough for me to do a review, which I usually don't do. I will avoid that HEB in the mornings if I can. read more

This is exactly what the Teravista area of Round Rock needed. The nearest grocery store from University is either the HEB on Parmer and 1431, or the HEB Plus (madhouse) on 79. What an awesome store this is. Not just because it is new, but the selection of everything is phenominal! The customer service is exceptional as well. (I hope it's not just because they're new) I had the beer and wine department manager come up and introduce himself to us, and was very pleasant. I also saw the store manager roaming around interacting with customers as well. The cafe is what impressed me the most. You're telling me that I can hang out in your cafe, try all your Texas beers on tap, watch the game that's on t.v, while drinking my favorite Texas tap beer, while my wife is shopping??!!
