I went in to grab a few items and to look around at everything. We went to the checkout line and were the only customers up there. There was a woman employee waiting for us to check out but we were looking at the many things along the checkout line- clearly not ready to check out yet. And she shouts "next!" we turn around and tell her we're not ready yet. To which she repeats "next" just a few moments later. We're finally ready to check out and as I'm paying she is sitting on her phone texting but I don't think much of it cause I'm just about finished with my transaction. She hands my my receipt i thank her and she says "YOU'RE SO DUMB!" I asked who she was talking to and she said "not you" so I asked who she was talking to because there was nobody else there aside from my mother and sister. She pointed to her AirPod which I didn't notice before and said she was on the phone. I found it ridiculous for her to be texting, talking on the phone, and making comments at very inappropriate times. I'm still not sure if she was really on the phone- the only thing she said that whole time was "you're so dumb!" And immediately after I spoke to her seems very suspicious... read more

I came to the store to return a pair of pants with the original receipt but didn't have tags on the pants. They're policy doesn't say anything about not being able to return without tags. The associate called her manager and she said "No we can't return without tags". So I went into the store found the same pants color and size and got back in line the associate was checking someone out and saw me with the new pants with tags and told the manager then they continued to talk about me and saying "NO SHE CANT RETURN!" They ducked down to keep taking so I couldn't see them then the woman getting checked out even turned around and looked at me. It was so embarrassing I felt so humiliated for only trying to return a pair of $5 pants!! When it was my turn in line the manager ran off then the associate said we can't accept your return and I said well there is nowhere on your policy that says you cannot return without tags and she said there is no store you can return an item without tags and I said I have worked in retail and you can return without tags, especially if I have the same pants with tags right here and she said my manager already said NO so I can't return them. I left the store and contacted costumer service online and told them everything they said their policy doesn't say you NEED tags to return all you need is the receipt! Just like I thought! Anyway costumer service gave me my refund online and I didn't even have to go back to the store to return the pants. Long story short READ THE RECEIPT and if the manager at the store doesn't help or even speak to you contact online customer service they might help! read more

I really enjoy this location...they have a better selection and the customer service is always great. Not only did an employee assist me with looking for AirPod case cover the associate that assisted with my checkout process was very sweet. She apologized immediately for not noticing us ready to checkout but she was actually setting us a display in front of the store. The fact that she immediately assisted us when she seen we were ready was appreciated. These days it can be hard to try and multitask and we were understanding but her positive attitude and concern was top tier!! read more

Neatly organized and clean store. This was my first visit to a Five below store and I was impressed. They have a decent collection. The product quality seems okay but you know what you are paying. Only thing they want to improve on is the unhelpful associates in the checkout area. read more

Last weekend, I purchased a volleyball for my son which was required for his physical education course. This is one of my favorite Five Below location. The employees always greet me when I come. They are kind and welcoming. There is a wide variety of items here, but I'm giving them 4 stars because I realize they lack certain products that other locations have. I was looking for a silicone pad to wash my face and they were out. I also purchased a humidifier/essential oil diffuser and it turned out to be fake. So DO NOT BUY THAT, unless you want a fake diffuser/lamp. read more

Thia store is very clean and well stocked. There are a lot of different items here that will appeal to most folks. I though was looking for toys and figures of which there wasnt very much. Great place to pick up cell phone cases, headphones, yoga clothing, hand weights, tights, flip flops, t-shirts, makeup, school supplies and much much more. Everything in the store is only $5.00 or less. This location just opened next to PetSmart on University Dr. It's in the Ikea, J.C. Penneys, & Ross shopping center. So glad there is a location nearer to home. read more

It's was an okay experience good Quality items but horrible customer service my cashier was very disrespectful she had no care for customers, talked rudely to customers and rolled her eyes. I went in to get headphones and right as a walked in an employee was picking her nose and rubbing her Burgers on the counters and the had told the manger who turned out to be the general manager and he had no care what so ever how the employees act/treat customers read more

The hours that are posted on the site are NOT the actual store hours. I came here at 9:45 am CST because the online hours show they open at 9AM CST and close at 9pm CST... When I first went into Five Below for the first time I was expecting multiple items being priced between 1.00-5.00 dollars. Well, all the crap/ little things are 1.50+. Most and if not all the items people would like are all 5.00 dollars. I guess I was thinking I was going into something like the dollar general or dollar tree. read more

Ok, I I went here while in the plaza to waste some time. Cheaper items given the concept of this store with things being $5 or less. I'd say it's good for party stuff (cheap cards, plates, napkins) if you are in a pinch and don't need/want something detailed. I went on MLK and there was 1 person working it seemed, and she seemed less than thrilled to be there. It's a fairly large place and I only saw her at the cash register. If you were looking for someone to ask a question to while in the store I doubt you'd have an answer. But, they have a large selection of miscellaneous things, and it's pretty self explanatory. read more
