I took my chances and went with the $3 choice. As a new coffee drinker, I'm not too picky about where I get my caffeine fix, and this CVS refrigerated option did the trick. What surprised me most was how big and clean this CVS was--especially for a downtown location! The aisles were neatly organized, everything was easy to find, and the parking right outside was a lifesaver for my morning commuter rush. The kind officer at the front door all hours of the night is ready to greet me after a lonnng bartending shift, with a warm welcome and a smile on her face. Charlie, the manager, works the late shift, as I do, and is extremely knowledgeable, warm, friendly and funny! He is great at multi tasking, and always full of energy and willing and ready to help you find a hard-to-find item. He goes above and beyond for his loyal Walgreens shoppers and anyone else that walks through the door! He greets me by name, and such a kind soul. He's a keeper Walgreens! Immediately upon leaving the eye doctor, I received a message from Walgreens that my prescription was ready. I called them to ask if it would be covered by insurance because that didn't align with what my doctor had just told me. The pharmacist on the phone was incredibly rude, saying things like, "Why is taking your doctor so long?" I asked if they would notify me when the insurance went through and he said, "Why would we notify you?" When I asked, "So it's just a guessing game then?" he said, "Well, that's your problem." He was so rude and disgusting and had no idea what was going on.

A clerk confirmed over the phone that I could pick it up with the tracking number. The tracking clearly showed that it had been delivered. When I arrived to pick up the package, the cashier was there as well as 4-5 guys from corporate in suits. Everyone was absolutely useless. The cashier was incredibly rude to me when I said I was told that I could pick it up with the number and I had the number ready and showed it to him. He said he needed names. So I pulled up names. He said he didn't have the package. HE DIDN'T EVEN CHECK. I could see all of the packages on the shelf. I kept asking him to check the names and/or the tracking number. He just kept telling me they didn't have it. It was insane.

Stephanie was immediately on it, not only finding the medication but calling the vet hospital multiple times to ensure she could safely compound it for a parrot and to get the prescription. We could not get there before closing time due to construction traffic so she left it in a bag with an ice pack hidden outside so we could get it.
