They are putting the street in street taco that's for sure. We went right during sunset, and it was actually so gorgeous with the mountains. I got Al pastor tacos and my husband got Al pastor, carne asada, and tripa. The Al pastor was soooo good!!! My husband enjoyed the carne asada and also said the tripa was amazing and super crunchy. They have a cooler with toppings and you get to load up the tacos yourself. They also have a cooler with drinks, but they didn't have any Diet Coke. The guys working were super nice and quick. The people in front of us ordered burritos and they let you load them up before wrapping them. I'd love to come back for a burrito. Overall, it lived up to the hype! Worth the stop for sure and highly recommend during sunset.

Staff wasn't the friendliest but hey it's a hot day with a huge crowd so no big deal. The orders were limited to burrito and taco combos, that come with a canned soda, rice and beans. The taco combo comes with three. Went with the asada and boy were these mediocre. Cheapest cut of chewy meat drenched in oil to help enhance the flavor nestled inside of a store bought tortilla. Tiny tacos with subpar meat filled with the sort of gristle you won't enjoy. For $15 I felt ripped off. The burrito was mostly bright orange rice, not the usual light red rice an abuela makes, filled with half melted cheese, and what appears to be canned beans with a sprinkle of that ghastly meat. Not sure what the hype is about but this place is substandard at best. If you're hungry with no options it's better than nothing but really not worth your money at $5 a taco.

This is an odd service but it's acceptable especially since their foods are impeccably delicious!…read more You order and pay inside, then take your bill outside around the corner to the food cart. The cook makes the food, hands you the food, you add all the toppings you wish (without judgment), and can go back inside the restaurant (unless you grab the wrong door and end up at the barber) to sit at a table or wherever you wish to eat. I got to select however many meats with no toppings and was pain free for the rest of the day (conclusion for me: no additives triggered a wobbly digestion in response). Everything looked and smelled fresh. Ambiance: bit bare inside, definitely not cozy. But if you are there to get food and eat it, it should be good enough.

It's a cash-only establishment, and the prices are so low that you'll easily be able to have a nice meal for whatever you've got in your wallet. I enjoyed two tacos-a beef and a chicken, both absolutely amazing. The flavor is great, the tortillas are warm and fresh-everything about it is great. If you're looking for authentic street tacos and don't mind eating in your car or in the parking lot, this is a fantastic option. I may find myself driving over and setting up a taco picnic in the back of my truck this summer. Grab a plate and come join me.

I will mention it but it is not the most important factor. Pauni brings a bit of island flavour to landlocked Logan. Pauni Island Grill dishes are not heavily spiced but it is characterized by the use of coconut milk and cream. Mixing savory with sweet. We ordered the following with a side of white rice and macaroni salad: Palu Sami (Corn Beef with Coconut Cream): It was like island comfort on a plate, the salty corned beef in coconut cream sauce is a perfect viand to steamed rice, its salty, its fatty, its meaty and very savoury, it's a simple dish. Sweet and Sour Meatballs: This is a cozy dish comprised of meatballs smothered with a sweet and sticky Polynesian pineapple sauce. Lord of Mercy, a little goes a long way. This dish is good but sometimes I find the sauce is too sweet. But that's just fine b/c it balances out with the white rice. Both dishes together in a combo meal, makes me feel good, rub my belly, and close my eyes wishing I was on the beach. This place is simple. If you are expecting fancy bells and whistles, go else where. I love visiting their establishment because eating their food is like tasting a blend of Hawaii's historical influences together which form a new eclectic modern cuisine for Loganites to experience.

There's nothing to put you in the mood to reward yourself more than volunteering your time to help your little brother with a mess of a sprinkling system. They're located on the north side of 7800 S. in between 1300 West and Redwood Road just west of Sizzler. There's not much there, but you can't miss it - they run an extension cord from one of the local businesses and have a blazing OPEN sign in the front of the truck, a light on their sandwich board near the street, and the inside of the truck is lit up. A lighthouse guiding weary landscapers to meaty goodness. Naturally, I turned my ship around and found safe harbor in the parking lot. I'm not one who judges food by the person making or serving it; I think an eskimo is equally capable of making a fire-roasted pig as an islander, but for those of you who do keep track at home, my entire interaction with them was in Spanish. In fact, I never heard a word of English from them or their customers. For what it's worth. I went with a basic carnitas taco and asada taco. Both were tender, but the carnitas came away winner. I topped with an assortment of pickly things, pico de gallo things, radishy things, squeezed a lime, and squirted some of their special "Salsa Imperio" and "Salsa Hua...??? something or other." I knew I'd forget the name. The Imperio was too spicy for my wussy mouth, but the other was a little meaty, smoky, and perfect. I'll be back for that alone (and I promise to write down the name). They sell a few things that I don't see everywhere. Tacos made of lengua (tongue) and cabeza (head muscle). Can't wait to try them. They also had a mean looking torta that's calling my name. It's too early to tell, but having another bona fide truck running around and seeing some menu options looks promising. I don't know who runs the thing; there's a sign on it that says if they don't give you a receipt, call this number etc etc, which makes me believe it's not an owner/operator situation. Still, it's mean food and the gal running the show was supah cool and got food out fast. She told me they're located here Wednesday through Saturday for dinner only. 5-10 on Wednesday and Thursday, 5-11 on weekends. It's a little out of the way, but tongue tacos may be worth the drive. I'll be back with an emptier belly to investigate.

So I was really excited to hear that a taco truck is doing business on 7800 S in West Jordan. The menu here is pretty basic. Tacos are $1, tortas are $5, and they also do quesadillas and soups. From what I've had, I've been really impressed. The carne asada is flavorful, the carnitas are juicy and tender, and the barbacoa is bien picante. I tried the chicharron (pork rinds) and they definitely weren't my cup of tea. Soggy and spongy. No thanks. Their fixins bar is basic, but still offers a nice variety. They offer several sauces. One is orangeish and tastes a bit like peanuts, and that sucker is spicy. I usually stick to the gringo side and go with the green guacamole sauce. Really tasty stuff.
