When life was normal amd we saw people, I would go here a couple times a week. The carne asada is my favorite. They are low cost and the pico and green sauce they provide is really good. It's one of my favorite places to eat.

Very good, cheap, and quick tacos. I drive by here all the time and finally decided to give this taco cart a whirl. I ordered two chicken, carne asada, and spicy pork tacos. I loaded each taco with toppings as sauces -- the green sauce was my favorite and the hot sauce was HOT! My favorite was the carne asada taco, it had very nice flavors. For $1.25 a taco, I will sure be back to get more.

These speak for themselves. Now get in my belly!!!!

Being from the east coast, this taco stand surpasses all my experiences with the taco food truck industry. These tacos are so so good, I have to have them two times a week. It really satisfies all my cravings and you can't just have uno, I got to get like 4 tacos. I do the trifecta of beef, pork and chicken. I don't even add any sauces to them. They have a spicy pickled onion, some limes and the pic are all you ever need on these tacos. I just can't stop talking about them and craving them. Can't wait until Tuesday to grab some more.

This review is for the cart located on State street. I want to say i'd give this place 3.5 stars rather than 4. Smaller selection of taco meats compared to pariente. I've had their al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, and buche. Buche is intestine and it's not as bad as it sounds, it even comes a little crispy. i heard that extra crispy can be requested. The parking lot needs to be re-asphalted. No where to sit unless you want to sit in your car or on the ground along side Team Gear's building. Lemons slices were unlimited (despite high prices); at Pariente, it's given to you. On one Saturday at 2pm and they ran out of grilled onions, very disappointed. :( They only have 2 sauces: red and green avocado.I like their carnitas a lot. It comes fairly lean and crispy

    2 carne asada + 1 chicken = delicious tacos!

Yum! The flavors in their meat options (especially chicken) were far better than the three previous taco carts I've tried. Their tacos are $1.25 so a quarter more expensive than the others, everything else is the same priced. The biggest downfall to their success - their cooler side/taco toppings are disgustingly sad. They don't look or taste fresh, and they don't carry the same characteristics of what my preferred taco cart has set for my expectations. However, their salsas are HOT. And four other people with me said the same thing. We loved it but just be careful when you go to squirt it all over your decisions.

    The tacos are the bomb!!!

Best tacos in SLC! Carne asada burrito was delicious, and so were the carnita tacos. The meat was flavorful and crispy.

They start you off with chips and salsa, which is always appreciated. Just know that the first basket is complimentary and any additional baskets come with a charge. Of everything we tried, the Cheesy Pastor Tacos were the clear standout. The birria, asada, and chorizo were all good, but the pastor tacos stole the show. Next time I'll probably skip the variety and just order those. The only thing that caught us off guard was the seating policy. They wouldn't seat our table until everyone in the party had arrived, even though the people we were waiting for were literally pulling into the parking lot. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did feel a little unnecessary and inconvenient. Overall, the food was excellent, the drinks were refreshing, and the experience was a good one. I'll definitely be back, especially for the Cheesy Pastor Tacos.

We were there on a Tuesday around 6pm and we were seated quickly and service was fast and friendly. It is a tight space, but we got lucky without a wait! The guac was good, chips were delicious, and tacos were incredible. While they don't serve alcohol, they do have very authentic Mexican food with great service. Highly recommend coming here! Breakfast menu looked so good too so I'll have to come back sometime to try more things on the menu.

The restaurant has limited parking! Tiny! Parking is a joke! There is maybe 6-7 parking spaces on the east side. Maybe 2-3 at the back of the building, which is one way. It limits the ability to drive around the back of the building. There are two parking spaces on the west side of the building. I have seen cars get totally stuck, people yelling and getting upset. If you have a large vehicle, I would not even try to drive around the building. I would drive south of the restaurant and park at the whitmore library's parking lot, and walk over. Service is okay. Ordering is cramped, and if there's a line you're standing at the back of the restaurant right next to people sitting eating. It's uncomfortable. During the summer there is seating inside and outside, but during high times you have to wait for a table! During the winter there are 12 tables, most of which are room for 2 people, four tables for 4 people, 5 if you can fit. This restaurant is SO popular, they really need to move to a larger building! Ordered chix taco w/ rice and beans, chix quesedilla, big combo and Chile Verde enchiladas. We new something was up when the waiter brought us another round water and juice after 20 mins waiting without asking. Food arrived at an uncomfortable 30 mins. Everyone's chicken was bland, like poached w/ no seasoning. Quesadilla was only toasted on the inside with not very much cheese-could not eat. Everyone's rice and beans tasted stale. The Chile Verde enchiladas were just cheese enchiladas with two little cubes (less than sugar cube sized) pieces of very dry pork. When I questioned the waiter about what I had discovered, he only asked if I wanted to order a side of Chile Verde. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? All of the chix meal portions were unedible, rice and beans were unedible and the large combo plate burrito was basically beans, no meat. I spoke with the cashier about our our disappointment, her response was "we have the best chef" If you value freshness, flavor, authenticity and value for your money, this is not the place to dine "  Waste of money for sure.
