My son has attended PDC for 3 years as well as attended the summer camps since 2019. PDC provides…read morea safe, small, highly interactive and nurturing environment for all of the children. Our son transitioned to PDC from another school that was not as much of a fit for him. In the 3 years he has been with PDC he has truly blossomed and matured into a very capable and independent teenager. The school operates in a very hands on and interactive way. The children have many opportunities throughout the day to move, exercise and express themselves whether it's through yoga, martial arts, hikes, field trips or gymnastic classes. Education-wise, they have a wonderful staff that truly cares and supports not only the children but their families as well. PDC very much individualizes their curriculum for each child and makes adjustments based on the children's needs and interests. They also very much include attention to life skills such as cooking, cleaning, public speaking and social skills. PDC is a very empowering place for neuro-divergent children. Lastly, the school actively works to keep the tuition very reasonable as most schools of this nature charge you 2 to 3 times more than PDC. I highly recommend this little known diamond in the rough that was founded by two innovative and caring educators who created an affordable and out of the box school for neuro-divergent children. And I walked away learning so much, my aim has changed and I learned how to focus differently. No matter the age or how long you've been shooting. Taking a fresher course is a good idea. I used my stock Glock 19 - 9mm with just a light no extras for the class. Here are my observations: 1. Glenn is very patient 2. The way he speaks and terms used was simple and easily understood. From beginners to experienced shooters. 3. HE IS VERY MINDFUL of GUN SAFETY, (which I like). He makes sure to clear his own gun several times before demonstrating anything for the student. And reminds to clear our own gun and holster it prior to moving around. He did this continuously throughout our time together. Awesome! 4. His teaching process is step by step and easy to follow. 5. He taught proper grip and pressure where needed and where to keep a looser grip. 6. He showed how to aim and where my focus point needed to be with these 50+ year old eyes and I was so much more accurate. 7. Glenn has a passion to teach shooting and he cares. You can sense it when you take his class. It's not a money grab for him. I highly recommend taking Iron Soul Tactical shooting classes taught by Glenn. You will walk away learning something new about your ability, have lots of fun and be a better shooter. Glenn is a really nice guy and a veteran. He's also an excellent shooter, that's probably the only part I don't like about him. J/K. Go take his class you won't regret it. And you'll have lots of fun.

Parents, read this before you consider Brain Balance…read more My experience with Brain Balance specifically with Frank Amuto,was stressful, dehumanizing, and completely unacceptable. I chose to cancel after realizing the program is not covered by insurance and is not recognized as evidence-based care by insurers or standard clinical pathways. That was not made clear upfront, and it should have been before any financial commitment. What followed was worse. After cancelling, I was given information about my financing and the bank that did not match what the bank later confirmed directly. There was constant back and forth, conflicting information, and I was being pressured about money I did not owe. At one point, I was told that if I did not pay additional money, I would not receive my financing back. Let that sink in. Frank Amato's behavior escalated the situation. His communication was rude, dismissive, and condescending. He crossed a personal line by questioning my judgment as a parent, including making comments about why I chose to have a child with my child's father. That is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Nothing was resolved until I escalated and brought the bank directly into the conversation to force transparency. Only then did the information finally align, the refund get processed, and the loan get closed. This entire experience created real fear around my finances and my credit -- something no parent should have to deal with, especially while caring for a child with ADHD. For clarity, my child is now doing well and receiving therapy that is evidence-based and covered by insurance. Be extremely careful. Verify everything directly with your lender. Get everything in writing. Do not rely on verbal assurances.

Prior to going into the course, Chris provides all the information on how to get started and how to make it go smoother. CLASSROOM: The instructional portion was about 4 hours, we mainly cover gun laws regarding licensed carry as well as some general firearm safety. Following the instruction was a written exam. Chris does an amazing job education his students (There is no need to fear to fail) RANGE: The range is where we are assessed based on our shooting proficiency. However Chris emphasizes on his students understanding the safety and handling when it comes to fire arms. Shooting a fire arm can be scary at first for those individuals who have no experience but no worries, Chris is a just as good as building your confidence and assuring you as he is an instructor. Some final thoughts and why to consider this course: Chris is exceptional with communication. He is prompt on returning and sending detailed emails regarding any questions. He is knowledgeable and has vast experience with fire arms. And finally, he is just a good guy who wants the world to be safer.
