We belonged to another trading group who didn't offer near the education we are receiving at OTA. Kevin's teaching of a very disciplined structure has given us renewed capabilities to trade in the various markets. The school presents a first-class business operation with Mary Beth at the helm. You are assigned an education counselor who's job is to coach us to our goals. Marcia is our counselor & is always there to discuss philosophies. It's because of Kevin's teaching & Marcia's guidance that we are confident to trade in the market. I am now trading live & am experiencing roughly a 2:1 win/loss. I am working the income (near-term) side of the trading while my wife manages the wealth (long-term) side. OTA Tax has helped us set up our company & we anticipate running this full time in July, 2016. I am in my (very) early sixties while my wife (cannot mention). This is better than being where we saw ourselves two years ago. Just finished my Core Strategy session and cant wait to start with the Futures class in 2 weeks. I can't lie, My husband and I attended the free seminar, I attended the Prep class and just graduated from Core Strategies. It was intimidating, tough, stressful and so rewarding. Everyone from Mary Beth, to the Admins are professional, supportive and simply wonderful people. Instructors are professional, have experience in trading and know how to guide you through the coursework. It isn't exactly one on one, but they make sure that the class stays on target and provide extra support if you need it. The best part, is once the class time is over, you have thousands of hours of online review, support and information available whenever you have time to work. I attended my initial orientation about two years ago and immediately realized that OTA could provide the necessary resources I had been looking for - and they have exceeded all my expectations. The resources and materials provided are excellent, and the instructors are the best. Teaching materials and methods are constantly updated and improved, sometimes to meet changing market conditions. The Houston Center's staff deserve special recognition for their friendliness, their willingness to provide assistance, and their dedication to make sure your needs are met. I specifically want to recognize the Support Specialists, Ed and Perry, for their assistance helping me with my issues. I came to OTA almost 4 years ago after listening to an radio ad. Initially, I must admitted that there was some skepticism on my part. I took the Pro Trader after the 3 day introductory class, then the Proactive Investor few months later. I followed the education path with an Option class a year and half later and finally with a Future class in 2017. My trading experience has improved so much that I decided to retire last year to to this full time. I haven't been to other OTA branches, but the Houston location is very nice. There is a family atmosphere here and everyone will go out of their way to help you reaching your financial goal. My experience with Online Trading Academy in Houston has been wonderful. The staff and instructors are very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. The training they provide is hands-on using state-of-the-art equipment. They want their students to succeed. Consequently, they evaluate all potential students during the orientation and weed out individuals for various reasons. Some people may perhaps view this practice as negative, but on the positive side, OTA does not want to take someone's money unless they are fairly certain that the person has the ability to succeed with their training. I have taken four classes with Online Trading Academy (OTA); Core, Forex, Options, and Futures. I did not realize how little I knew about my own investments in my 401K. Subsequent to taking these classes I knew very little about my portfolio and how I could maximize the investments in my portfolio. Since taking these classes, I increased my knowledge on how to take advantage of downturns in the markets. I learned a lot from my recent options trader class at Online Trading Academy. The instructor (Steve Moses) took a very simplified approach to teaching options. Since taking the class last week, I have taken two of the Pro Pick trades recommended by this instructor (NFLX and CMG) for profit. It begins with a 3 hours Free course, then you get to enter the 3 days course where you would be give you an overview of the basics and the different courses they have to offer in each asset class. You are provided with Pros and cons of each Asset class and how they function. Prior to the 3 days, I had only heard of options and stocks; I learnt about Futures and choose that to move forward. My overall experience has been really good from the time I attended the first free workshop until I finished my Futures course. Great instructors and awesome support staff. read more

I was a little nervous coming in to this whole experience, but with the education provided by OTA, I believe I now have the foundation necessary to begin my journey. The instructor tried to make it simple for novice users. A lot of encouragement especially for novice users was given. Everyone was very courteous and professional. Parking was safe and accommodating. The center was always clean inclusive of the bathrooms. The handouts, slides and computer system was excellent and easy to understand. Presentation was excellent!
