Instead of hot dogs and hot pizzas they have onigiri (rice balls) and curry bowls, plus an array of beverages and a smattering of stuff you might need to just run out for real quick like cooking ingredients (think spice mixes not milk or eggs or produce or meat), a few body care and stationary items. My kids of course had a great time and unlike, say, H&L they had helpful signs for every item explaining what it was and what it tasted like. Prices were fair and inline with my expectations and experiences. This isn't stuff being shipped from overseas in large quantities for mass distribution so I expect it to cost more than US equivalent. Watching the attendant operate the knuckle buster sliding imprint machine in the cold weather was always a treat, twas impressive. Once inside I was taken by the number of employees scurrying around, performing their tasks -- it looked like Star Trek Enterprise as three separate colored shirts identified rank. (Well, not really.. it was training day and shirt colors are the employee's choice) Spinny, spinny, spinny -- those pizzas and hot dogs spun like a spinning top, in the horizontal method. Can't say I partook, but I watched them for a while wishing for a bit of an appetite and carousel music, but none ever came to me. Icey chilly brewskies -- and bar none -- the cleanest bathrooms anywhere I have been and will gladly attest to. Fully equipt with the Accelerator machine that can blow paint off a wall. This machine is somewhat curious to me and slightly troubling at the same time. I'll spare y'all the reasons why -- but I've got reasons -- disturbed and irrational? When I say it's huge, I mean it, I lived in Kansas City and Austin TX, I know big stores - hint Bucee's first gas station was 14 miles from my house. First of all, the location is easy to get in and out, ample parking and the main road right there. It's in a very safe section of town while inside and outside are extremely clean. Any one will pick up on that immediately walking in, which should put any customer at ease. The produce section ROCKS. I mean it. For instance, I've been hunting for watermelon radish for a long time at 3 other chains and nothing. Harris Teeter had, watermelon radish, dragon fruit, buddha fingers, Rambutan, fresh exotic (not dried) mushrooms and so on. Moreover, I inspected some raspberries and a few other things - no mold! Best produce besides a farmers market! Next, it looks as if they're experimenting taking a page out of midwestern stores' playbook. They have a bar here! Now being a single gentleman I often like meeting women at a grocery store - although I always find the attractive women have some sort of rock on their finger. But I'm seriously considering coming back when it's open, if it's a true bar and not just a wine, beer sampling area. Not that I don't love a good wine tasting but my imagination tells me I would enjoy the upper crust time of "fu-fu, bougie" women that I envision would be partaking here. I need to do more research but I love this idea for the greater Summerville area. While I didn't get any of their baked, seafoods, meats, salads, etc they have by far the best selection, excluding specialty butchers and fish mongers. Their fresh bread laced with rosemary and olive oil danced on the air while chocolate perfumed a few isles. I scanned over everything and cursed my diet b/c I could have really destroyed their food here. As for prices, it's probably just a bit higher than their competitors but I don't mind paying a little higher for a more robust selection. I mean, I saw things like phyllo cups, the newest fall items already being stocked in July, a wider selection of health foods and the list goes on and on. Finally the people here are extraordinary and go the extra mile. I asked where something was and the clerk took me too it. They didn't say "isle 4 by the bread" but nope they wanted to make sure I got what I needed. Moreover I don't have a card, No Problem! They gladly slid the store card in the reader to give me a discount! Come on... who else does that!? As far as grocery stores - this is where you want to go. The only thing lacking the variety of instore made food options and a place to dine. Granted, I came from Austin TX where we had HEB, literally 5 restaurants in the grocery store. Same for Hy-Vee in Overland Park KS. Those Midwest grocery stores - they have full dining experiences. What's next a movie theatre!? Ok, back to the point, here in Summerville, Harris Teeter is the king of grocery quantity, quality and customer service. Drop on by and check it out, but make sure your bank account can handle it.

Sunoco off of Ladson road is in a very safe area of town. Moreover it's extremely easy to get in and out of in a relatively fast manner. Inside is wide open and relatively clean. While I didn't go through all the isles, it's better than some gas stations where you feel a bit antsy. The shelves are stocked with plenty of snack selections. Also for those who are "Mt Dew" nutcases like me, they have the exclusive Infinite Swirl in their fountain machine. Trust me - get it, it's awesome As for the employees the clerk was pretty nice and fast. I didn't inspect the bathrooms so nothing there to report. Also, I can't speak on gas b/c I didn't fill up. That means I'm not sure about pump speed, if they have window washing units or an air tank. But if you're just needing to stop on in, there should be no issues.

I love to see all the great brands and products they bring and the beer selection is the biggest in the area. I stop in all the time, but I was able to pop in to their rebranding party and they had free Pakistani food, a bunch of local vendors, and music too. I was lucky enough to snag one of their limited edition t shirts that mentions Qwik Stop on the back and the new Jadoon's logo on the front. It will be a Park Circle collectible for sure. Gifts, home decor, clothing and more. There is also a fantastic coffee shop with tasty treats. My friend loved her latte and I loved my muffin. The staff were very cordial and helpful. It was a very pleasant visit to this great spot I'm so happy to have found this place. I will definitely stop in again on my next drive from Savannah to Charleston.
