The Fried Chicken, The Fried okra and the vast selection of drinks is second to NONE. This place is a Fried Food Utopia for sure. How was I "trapped"? I decided to get gas in Summertime about 3 months ago but there were two competing gas stations across the street from one another on Jedburg RD filled with landscaping trucks and trailers. I didn't want to navigate around the "clusta" so I just drove down the road. I wasn't particularly heading anywhere when I saw this brand new yellow and blue structure. I have found my pot of gold!!!!. As I walked in, a Gentleman by the Name of Cortez asked me if I had been there before because I looked "Lost". He took me to the Kiosks and showed me how to order food. He recommended the fried chicken snack pack. At the register, he asked me if I had a rewards card. I did not. He gave me one, and advised me that if I went home and linked my Rewards card to my checking account (online) that I could use my card to pay for my purchases and increase my bonus points. As I bit into my fried chicken, all I could taste was the warm lard flavor that the chicken was fried in. it brought back memories of my Grandmother's cooking in Puerto Rico. The chicken was crispy on the outside and Juicy on the inside without dripping in grease. Whatever secret seasoning is used at Spinx, it's far better than the 11 herbs and spices used by the Colonel. This chicken is truly finger licking good. I also tried the fried okra which was crispy on the outside yet the okra was fresh without tasting like a frozen product from a bag. My snack pack was polished off with a Hawaiian sweet roll. The combination worked well. Today, we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at Spinx with lunch and to make it better, I got .25 cents off per gallon of Gas. I purchased scratch off lottery tickets and won $8! Woot Woot!!! Overall, every experience has been a great a experience for me. The bathrooms are clean & automated so you do not have to touch anything, there is ample parking, lots of food choices, snacks and Great quality gas. I highly recommend Spinx for all of your convenience store and Gasoline needs.

While waiting over 30 minutes, several men tried to get in front of us rudely by pushing and shoving. After finally getting in, the food counter had no control over the process or their staff. The lines were insanely long and wait times over 30 minutes for food that was just sitting on the counter. There was no structure whatsoever. The place also was not clean in the drink and bakery area. It will be a long time before I return. I understand the theft issue, but the staffing and structure issue didn't help. I have never witnessed this in the past, after coming in multiple times during these hours.

The bathroom had signs on the door about needing a key, but the kid behind the counter seemed confused when we asked for it. It wasn't locked, so maybe take down the signs? The ladies room door was partially blocked by boxes. I'm not above using the men's room, especially when it's a single stall bathroom, but we were able to squeeze into the ladies. Counter service was less than friendly. However, there is a catch 22 to gas attendants or cashier. Either they are too friendly or not friendly enough. It is important for them to have a balance in their demeanor especially if the town host many visitors as Savannah does. Parker is a hit for location and convenience.
