Michael does a great job and is reasonably priced. Wonderful person, we've used him multiple times now and highly recommend him.

Kipp's Painting is now my go-to resource for all painting and painting related projects! I would…read moreabsolutely recommend them for their workmanship and professionalism. We had ceiling damage from the snow/ice this winter and Bill came out quickly to give an estimate. The rates were very reasonable and they were able to fit us into the schedule around some other projects. Bill Kipp and crew had outstanding workmanship and a high level of professionalism. They showed up right on time, did a perfect job of sealing off the work area, were very respectful of our house (which includes 2 dogs), and 100% cleaned up when they were done. They did an outstanding job of communicating what they were doing to make sure we don't have mold, and they did check ins along the way to make sure things were up to our expectations (which they were and even above expectations). We had some other spots/cracks on the ceiling that they weren't contracted to do, but since they had the tools and paint out they went ahead and spent the few extra minutes to clean those flaws up too which I truly appreciated - my ceilings have never looked so perfect! Very trustworthy, respectful and talented crew.

Kipp's painting is just the BEST! My husband and I bought an older home which had a ton of old,…read morevery dark gumwood trim. We were hoping to lighten up the house by turning all of the trim white. Bill Kippenberger ( the owner) came out right away and gave me a lesson in painting, told me all of our options and gave me information on ways that he would cover all the little dings and cracks/crevices in the old woodwork. He sent me an estimate within the next 2 days which was very reasonable and extremely detailed. He was also willing to add some trim around my fireplace which made a huge difference in the aesthetic appeal. Bill's crew ( Jim, Pete, Frank and Ernie) are just amazing. Not only are they friendly and hardworking, but they are so respectful and really felt like part of our family once the job was done. I have a one year old and they made sure to clean up everyday so that she wouldn't get into the paint.... they also made sure to use techniques and paint that would not be harmful for her to breathe. As far as the finished product, we ended up deciding to have them paint most of our home because what they initially did looked SO GOOD. They took 100 year old walls and trim and made it look like new construction. Their prep and coverage of the walls is unbelievable--- I never thought our house could look this good. Jim also did quite a few "handyman" projects for us including making all of our old creaky doors actually close and look great! Needless to say we will use them for all of our painting needs in the future ( in fact I'm having them come back again in a couple weeks!) You will not be disappointed! You will not find a more reaonsable price ( we looked a LOT) or a better end product! :-)

I live on the water in Scituate and, as such, have a constant queue of maintenance to take care of.... every year. I can't count the number of times that I have reached out to the neighborhood and friends for another recommendation for a contractor, painter, handyman, etc. In and around our community, at least, many of these people are busy, temporary, unreliable, or do not do quality work. I found Dave via a trusted recommendation. I needed to fix a wall "now," or else a replacement window would not be able to go in. This was a several-day job ... not trivial handyman work. Dave and his team scoped out the job and make it happen within on week of initial contact. It was fast and efficient and he was never late. Everything happened exactly when he said it would. He would text me ahead of time with questions or indications of time of arrival. So refreshing! The work was done, perfectly. Dave and his team even made it a point of being present when the Anderson window installers were there, just in case they had any questions or issues with his work.... so there would be no issues. The window went in. There were none. Well, I was so impressed with the first job that we started discussing the rest of my maintenance needs for the spring. Once again, Dave surprised me. He (a) considered what my stated needs were, he (b) offered other suggestions for related needed near and long term work (some of what I knew and some other legitimate ones I was unaware of), and he worked to (c) provide multiple price and scope and bundling options for what work would be done and how it could be done ... so that my available budget for maintenance could be most effectively used. Dave is proactive but not pushy, he is very easy to work with, and the work looks great. I actually feel a little less stressed knowing that I can call on him as needed and that things will promptly get taken care of and done right. And for the items he doesn't do himself, I have already experienced his ability to pull in other excellent, qualified people as needed, and make sure the job is done right, on time, and on projected budget.
