The rates were very reasonable and they were able to fit us into the schedule around some other projects. Bill Kipp and crew had outstanding workmanship and a high level of professionalism. They showed up right on time, did a perfect job of sealing off the work area, were very respectful of our house (which includes 2 dogs), and 100% cleaned up when they were done. They did an outstanding job of communicating what they were doing to make sure we don't have mold, and they did check ins along the way to make sure things were up to our expectations (which they were and even above expectations). We had some other spots/cracks on the ceiling that they weren't contracted to do, but since they had the tools and paint out they went ahead and spent the few extra minutes to clean those flaws up too which I truly appreciated - my ceilings have never looked so perfect! We were hoping to lighten up the house by turning all of the trim white. Bill Kippenberger ( the owner) came out right away and gave me a lesson in painting, told me all of our options and gave me information on ways that he would cover all the little dings and cracks/crevices in the old woodwork. He sent me an estimate within the next 2 days which was very reasonable and extremely detailed. He was also willing to add some trim around my fireplace which made a huge difference in the aesthetic appeal. Bill's crew ( Jim, Pete, Frank and Ernie) are just amazing. Not only are they friendly and hardworking, but they are so respectful and really felt like part of our family once the job was done. I have a one year old and they made sure to clean up everyday so that she wouldn't get into the paint.... they also made sure to use techniques and paint that would not be harmful for her to breathe. As far as the finished product, we ended up deciding to have them paint most of our home because what they initially did looked SO GOOD. They took 100 year old walls and trim and made it look like new construction. Their prep and coverage of the walls is unbelievable--- I never thought our house could look this good. Jim also did quite a few "handyman" projects for us including making all of our old creaky doors actually close and look great! The book cases that surrounded the fireplace were in need of fresh paint and we wanted an area over the fireplace for our TV. Michael's guys were able to drill small holes and run the wires to our TV and cable boxes; as well as hide the excess wires. We now have a fresh look with crisp white book cases and mantel. The pink bricks are gone and we have beautiful nautical navy blue bricks. Full transparency, Michael is my brother in law, but if my refresh was anything less than fresh I wouldn't be writing a rave review. They said the wood was pre-primed and wash their hands from any responsibility. They offered to correct it only if I paid for another project. Casio was competent…read moreand told me exactly the work that was required and he predicted to the letter what would happen if I went with the other contractor. Got the advice from my interior designer that I should go with the contractor who bid at 1K less than Casio and used the saved money for other decorating expenses, e.g., a couch--biggest mistake of my life. The contractor underbid on the paint coats like Casio said, and the work was sloppy. I ended up having to pay for the extra coat and didn't really save any money at all--plus now I have to go and touch up some of the messy work they did myself. Will not be using anyone but Casio's team in the future because competency is worth every penny.

On the latest project we needed our deck done in advance of a bunch of furniture arriving, and Cassio was able to come through quickly and get the job scheduled and done in a little over a week from the time we contacted him.
