But here's our review of our stay…read more We arrived at the resort during a light rain our truck and trailer making it's way down the road dodging large and small puddles as we turned into the staging area. Our arrival and site assignment simple. We backed into our bay view space and set up for our week stay. First the park is perfect a outstanding view of the inland waterway into Corpus Christy harbors and Bay. My sister lives close by and came to breakfast several times during our stay and joined us for the typical tourist attractions of the area. The pro and cons of our stay. PRO'S there's a small local dive bar one block from the front gate. There's a food truck outside to die for. Top the with live music and our stay was truly a good time. Cons We can't stop this time but will when we will again soon. The new owners and management people are very nice and the dive bar and food truck are a huge draw.

Lots of seasonal people from up north in the winter and retirees. Also some long term construction workers. Rent is fair, around $300.00 a month plus electricity. I think their day rates for weekends and short stays are $35.00 a night. Waterfront views are great. There is a boat launch and pier.

Water pressure good, FHU's w/ 50 amp, 3 bars on Verizon so you can stream on cellular service. WiFi not strong enough too. About 1/2 the sites are FTers w/ #22 winning yard of the month. Roads are concrete but very tight. Our 35' crossed the grad even though we were as far right as we could go. 40'+ rigs will have issues turning and backing in as all sites are back in w/utilities at the rear of the site.

I have stayed at other rv parks on Mustang island, Aransas Pass and Padre Island. I can tell you…read morethat Big Fish Rv is hands down the BEST! The other parks had no grass or yards. Everyone was crammed right next to each other, which meant no privacy. There was no shade. No wash houses. A lot of them only allowed 1 car and they also charged a huge amount of money for an extra utility trailer. Here at Big Fish Rv we all have a yard with grass. There's beautiful trees as you drive into the driveway here. The entrance has wood fences on each side with solar lights on each post. It's Very welcoming and pleasant. There are storage sheds here too for our overflow etc. very convenient. We each have concrete patios. I have two. we are all spaced apart a good distance for privacy. The grass is thick and plush and has no stickers. There is three beautiful ponds all stocked with fish that we can fish for. There's room for two vehicles at each site. The managers here Jeff and Laurie are fabulous. They are both professional and are super nice. They keep this park immaculate. Jeff mows the grass and does all the edging on a regular basis. He also keeps the trees trimmed. Laurie weeds every patio and site. They keep the mosquito's and ants under control too which is a welcome relief. The wash house is great! Good prices and very clean. We each have a mailbox's at our sites which is very convenient. Free WiFi. There are beautiful trails to hike here too. Big Fish Rv is located between Aransas Pass and Rockport on Highway 35 which is an Excellent location. Its nice and quiet here too. To top it all off the price per site is nothing short of AMAZING. If you want privacy, a manicured yard, peace and quiet this is the place. I planned on staying a month max. I have been here 9 months now. I feel so safe and comfortable here. A home away from home. It can't get much better than this. The best of Texas hospitality is right here! Enjoy Cheers
