I tend not to leave negative reviews but damn, the customer service here is horrible. I wanted to try on a top but all the fitting room doors were locked, there were two employees, one at the register ringing a customer up and another by himself in the corner putting a vest on a mannequin. So I go ask him if I can please try the top on. He just stands there staring at me like I'm a piece of trash, literally no words. We're just standing there looking at each other so I turn around and walk away, I was going to go put the shirt back but I saw he was following me and he walked to the room and unlocked it. I walked over and thanked him and again, I was silently looked at like trash. I just put the shirt back and we left, I didn't bother trying it on. What a rude person, that's the first time I've actually been completely ignored while simultaneously being looked at like trash for asking an employee a question. read more

Horrible customer service, I was standing at the register waiting to pay and some associates were on the floor talking to each other ignoring me! sounds like what happened to me has happened to others at this store at the Cool Springs Galleria mall in Franklin Tennessee, Tennessee. We waited for 30 to 40 minutes, perhaps 45 minutes behind a line of three or four other people with only three of the changing rooms unlocked and open, when we asked the associate to open some more changing rooms fitting rooms she said there's only two of us on the floor and we can't handle all the work so we are not opening any more fitting rooms. I said we've been waiting for quite some time, she said we'll just wait a few more minutes . I said we've already waited. and she walked off in a huff. Girl with the highlights kept following me and my girl around couldn't peacefully shop not only that she seem she was butt hurt when we walk in she kept harassing us watching us while we going to pay we felt uncomfortable so we decided not to purchase anything we put all the items back and she ended up talking in her walkie-talkie and having staring issues trying to accuse us that were stealing.. she is unprofessional and needs to work on harassment but not only that my girl couldn't peacefully try the on the clothes in the dressing room... never again we are shopping here!! Walked in never got acknowledged then when I'm ready to pay two associates were standing in the front not getting ready to pay. Until I said something, are you going to help her or not and she said that she was on break and was having a full on conversation with another associate which was a boy blonde hair needs to work on customer service and then claim to be manager, that is not great. We came in here because my son is for some reason addicted to buying different baseball hats. The salesperson who seemed to be the only one there was nice and greeted me as I came in with a smile. There were some hats for $10.00 each, which my son bought one and told me to buy one as well, but I didn't need. I guess if I do need one and I am out here I know where to go. Worth a stop. I literally haven't had a better experience at a retail store. Going into any clothing store can be extremely uncomfortable, but I legitimately was made to feel safe throughout my entire time. Worst customer experience! It seems like the managers are unknowledgeable or unaware of their own return policy. I was trying to exchange a top for the same one just diff. size and they wouldn't honor the price of the initial purchase. Issac the "manager" told me he could ONLY honor the price if i was getting the same item and size. I'm confused on WHY I would be exchanging it for the same size and item?? I don't even think he knows what an exchange is at this point. When I asked him for the reasoning he said it was policy yet couldn't show me where that was listed. He then redirected me to customer service and was passive aggressive. To be quite honest it seems like he might have needed more time to process this "complex request" I was asking for but he made it clear he was going to be off soon and he didn't care. I am highly upset, as I have worked in retail and know this is 100% possible. It seems like Cotton on might need to retrain their whole team on the basics of register and customer service. I have never received such horrible customer service. I purchased two sweaters totally $130. The customer service rep asked if I would like to purchase a tote bag and I said "no thank you" she folded up the two sweaters and handed them to me. I walked out of the store, holding my folded up sweaters, in disbelief. Was is supposed to finish my shopping trip holding two folded up sweats??? I looked around and saw someone else walking out with a paper bag and went back in asking for a bag, a guy behind the counter was eating a sucker and said "they're $0.10" I was like can I get one and he said yeah you can buy one and walked away. I walked out, shocked, walked back in and the same lady who helped me originally said "I offered you a bag for $0.10" No ma'am you did not. She proceeded to argue with me and I finally walked out and got a dirty look by the other "customer service rep". Needless to say this is the absolute last time I will ever shop here. Ok so this store is clean and the customer service is decent. However they decided to charge .10 for a bag. How awful is this. I shop at this location frequently, and typically, the customer service is always so-so, but on my last visit, it wasn't very good. The cashier, whose name was Cynthia had an attitude from the moment I stepped up to the register. She was not helpful or friendly. Please train your staff better. Multiple reviews here say they had a negative customer service experience. I attempted to use my cotton perks by cotton on the voucher, and she did not offer any assistance. I went shopping today for the first time in a long time. I haven't felt very confident in my body since being confined to my house and was anxious to be looking for clothes. Since I was not able to use the fitting room I was hesitant to buy anything. The store manager Nick was so helpful and made my shopping experience enjoyable. Rude employees. Half the customers in here had masks on under their nose as did I. The male employee behind the check stand yelled across the store for me to put it over my nose. Then I had some rude female employee following me around the store telling me it wasn't covering enough of my nose (even though it covered my nostrils). I'm not sure how Covid spreads through the bridge of your nose but ok. Once we went to check out, I asked the same male employee if they sanitized the credit card machine after each customer. He said they did and I pointed out that I had not seen him do it when the customer before me left. He then changed his story that they only sanitize after the store reaches max capacity. So if you're going to get all psycho about the bridge of my nose spewing Covid everywhere, then you best be doing your part in sanitizing. Oh and they charge for bags. Walked to the cashier with the stuff i had to return/exchange, first of all the hispanic cashier was very VERY RUDE she just looked at me, and she didnt even greet me or asked me what i was doing there, I had to tell her myself. anyway, I came in to make an exchange (i bought a week ago, didn't try on and did not fit me right when i got home) and she looked at me like she was very annoyed with me doing the return/exchange. if you don't like this part of your job then you shouldn't be working in a store like this. They should improve on their service. Last time I was there the cashier a girl was flirting with the guy customer in front of me and I clocked it, took her 10 mins to run up two shirts. This is ridicules. Then thank god this guy cashier saw that I was waiting a long time and it's getting ridicules so he opened up to help me. I just got back from here today (wed) 3/14/18 around 330 to 4 pm the young lady with blonde hair greeted me as I came in ; ok so far i like the stores atmosphere .I get to the register and I see the cashier .Unfortunately, i did not obtain her name. She is having a good conversation with her customer before me Great! Wonderful service i said in my head . I come up to her and I said Hello. She did not respond back and gave me such an attitude when she asked what i was there for . I dont know why her mood changed from 100 to 0 for me , ok so i continued. Every time I go to cotton on Victoria Gardens the employees are so nice and helpful. I really appreciate them all talking to me and making me feel welcome there. This is one of the only places I go to when I go to the mall. Their new body workout clothes are amazing. The fit and styles and the prices are great also.
