Lady cashier with a heart tattoo on her upper chest was slow as hell in ringing up customers. The way she moved was there was no urgency and it took about 25 mins for one customer that was ahead of us. They brought a couple of shirts and dresses...but for some reason they kept talking together and the cashier was just in slow motion using the register. There was another employee who finally ringed us up and it took us about 4 mins to finish our transaction. When we were leaving...that same cashier is still with the same customer...still trying to finish whatever transaction they have...that's about 30 mins being there I wish this employee be fired...she does not belong in this job. read more

I would like to share my experience regarding a 40-minute wait due to a cashier being unable to ring up my order because I was paying in cash. This is not the first time I've noticed customers being sidelined for using cash. In this instance, my mom wanted to buy a few items for my daughter, and she only had cash on hand. When it was my turn in line, the cashier asked if I was paying with cash, and I confirmed that I was. However, I had to step aside to allow other customers who were paying with cards to be served first. Out of the three cashiers, only cashier #3 was accepting cash. As I waited, people continued to pass me in line. My mom kept asking why we were not being helped, and my daughter was becoming frustrated. After 40 minutes, the cashier who had initially asked me to step aside (cashier #1) finally rang me up. It's hard to believe that she could have helped me all that time but instead chose to make me wait. read more

I went to shop at The Children's Place for my niece and the worker Kimberly was so helpful and kind. I found a shirt she would love and was looking around for one her size and Kimberly came over and helped me look then offered to check the back and found one! The store was also very tidy and easy to navigate which helped make the rest of my shopping a breeze. read more

You could improve by having associates be more greeting and friendly. 12/27/25 My sister had a return and I was shopping for my daughter. I wasn't particularly looking for anything specific. When I asked a few questions the associate had a look on her face that showed me she was bothered by my interruption. When I arrived at the register the lady who helped me also wasn't very friendly. No smile no how are you today, just dry. Until my 9 yr old told her she liked her earrings. She said thank you but back to being unpleasant. Whoever yhe manager is needs to have a chat with them about customer service, welcome customers in be friendly makes us want to spend more money. Just saying. Do better CP ontario mills. Justin was the associate who cash us out. I don't think I have encountered someone so informative in a long time now. He gave me the discount price when ringing it up as he is also having a friendly conversation with me. He made a nice comment about a dress my daughter had picked out. He offered the credit card option for more discount and after trying to apply for it and something when wrong I just said it's ok never mind. Then he offered a text discount and guided me completely to it since I didn't receive the credit card discount. Again, I don't think I have come across these time with someone willing to help one out as he did. I really appreciate that he went above and beyond.. I don't leave reviews, but I come across someone like him. Definitely, will take the time like he did to let him know what a great job he is doing. read more

Ordered online some shoes for my toddler since I didn't realize malls were open for shopping but I despise malls so it was a win win in my opinion. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was I had to walk thru the mall to get to the store because the outer door access to the store was completely shut off. No big deal. My daughter & I walked thru the mall to the store. We walked into the store and not one person the whole time we were shopping said a word to us. In fact, a girl organizing towards the back entrance, kind of was eyeing my 4yo who just so happened to touch everything in the store. *faceplant* yes I know Covid and we shouldn't be touching everything, but it is what it is, she's 4! I bought several items plus my pickup order so count yourselves lucky. I not only took off a star for the above, but my gosh, this store is so pricey! $30-40 for a toddler outfit?!?! I purchased most of my daughters shirts from the sales and clearance rack. $5-10 a shirt is much more affordable then $20 a shirt. Luckily I took advantage of some clearance items in a size up for next winter. Yay! The store layout is huge & organized. I found everything easily and was happy with the overall organization of the store. There were a few areas I noticed trash on the floors, so I definitely think there is room for improvement in that area. I'm happy with my purchase, the ease of online ordering. However, I really wish they'd open up their outer doors so we don't have to walk the mall just to visit one store with outdoor access. read more

There are some pluses. They have some really cute clothes at affordable prices. The store is sort of weird. It looks like they are going out of business because the store is huge but, has a lot of empty space. Our granddaughter wanted to try on a pair of shoes but, there were no benches or anywhere to sit to try on the shoes. The cashiers were friendly and tried to be helpful. It was difficult to find things as the departments were scattered and not clearly designated. read more

Employees here are always very talkative and funny. People complain about the place cleanliness but to me it looks clean, its just people like to never out things back nicely. I always see the employees working hard folding clothes back into their place so I have no complaints here myself. read more

The racks are disorganized and waste of time. During their sale, I purposely shopped their $3.99 racks and picked about 10 cute items. Once I got to the register, the cashier tells me that the items are not $3.99 and customers must have put those items on the wrong rack. She called the manager who would not honor the price. "What? So I'm supposed to bring every item back to the register for a price check to confirm it's on the right rack?" No, apparently there are price scanners throughout the store that I can use! Are you kidding me?? How about the manager and staff ensure their inventory is on the correct rack and properly priced instead of making customers do their job??? Brilliant! read more

I ordered clothes for my 6yo granddaughter! Out of 14 items she only received 4! Why ship pieces separately, very confusing! I sent 4 emails asking them to please complete my order. For 4 weeks I've waited for a response, nothing yet 7/1/2020. About $60 of clothing hasn't been received & my messages have gone unanswered. Everyday I receive at least 5 email ads from them but they can't answer a real problem! I call too but the recorded message states that they're no available so call back another time! I visited the store today to partake in the awesome sale for my granddaughter. Picked up 21 items for a steal! I was in line and then greeted by the clerk Destiny. We had a great conversation while she checked me out. Her Customer Service was Perfect! I was surprised after finding out it was only her 2nd day and I'd assumed she was the Manager! I even applied for their CC which is something I never do, but with an additional 30% off, I'd be crazy to leave money on the table! I shop online a lot these days like everyone else. Store is a mess and the manager Scottisha is rude. Don't work retail if you hate your job! Won't be purchasing from children's place again.

They need to update they're signs and social media in regards to their hours . All wrong and their response is oh well.

The prices in this store were really good, cheaper then Oshkosh bygosh, and Carters. We visited during a big Christmas sale and the prices were very good, especially for infant clothes. Our overall shopping experience was positive UNTIL we got in line to pay. We stood in line for over 20 minutes and didn't move an inch! And the line was getting longer and longer. My wife gets anxiety if things aren't moving. She went to look at the registers. She said there was a manager talking to a customer , who was at a register. This woman was at the register when we entered the store! The other two registers were ringing up customers and were working at a sloths pace, no sense of urgency. There was another cashier just meandering around the register area, not being of any help. There were other registers behind us (2-3) and the line was moving at the same pace, not at all. Miraculously the fourth register finally opened and we moved! A few minutes later we were standing in front of a cashier!!! Whooo hoooo! I understand during the Christmas/holiday crunch it gets busy. But when management is doing nothing to expedite their customers, that's not good customer relations read more
