I was also impressed that they gave a 10 year warranty on their work. Unfortunately, when you need to call on them to honor their warranty things go badly very quickly. I was selling my house and as a part of that process the buyer's inspector got on the roof in May 2025. He took a picture of what was essentially a swimming pool on my roof. The water wasn't draining. Interestingly, Couto was already aware of the issue because they told me about it when they did the last roof job in March 2025. But despite me calling several times to see when they would fix the issue, they just put me off and never came. With the impending sale and the swimming pool on my flat roof, I called in for emergency assistance. They literally kept telling me they were coming out the next day for weeks. It took them a month to finally get around to dealing with my emergency, and that was after my almost daily calls, emails and text messages. I tried to get one of the Couto brothers to speak with me but apparently they couldn't be bothered with it. The moral to the story is they are great for initial work, but don't count on them to come through in a timely manner when you need them for warranty work.

I just felt that Dennis was a bit more knowledgeable about the product options and the installation details. His warranty was also better than the competition. He scheduled the installation at our convenience and his crew was absolutely amazing. We had between 12 and 18 workers on the job throughout the day and they were incredible. Hard working, polite, friendly and incredibly efficient.
