This is not just a Christmas tree spot but is also an extremely underrated pumpkin patch during the month of October. This place is a decent-sized pumpkin patch that has free parking next to Target, a 3-dollar adult and 1-dollar child entrance fee, and a bunch of inflatables that kids can use as long as they can based on the price point you pay for. $25 for 30 mins or $35 for 1 hour This allows the kiddos to use all inflatables for that time that you pay for, and there are a lot; I think I counted about 12. All sizes for all kinds of kids, and they're unlimited play for the time frame you paid for. It is amazing, and no pumpkin patch does this. Most charge 1 token, equivalent to about 5 to 7 bucks, to use 1 inflatable for maybe 1 minute or 1 turn, depending on what it is. This option saves you so much money. On top of that, you can play up to 5 different games for 12 dollars, and they sell plenty of goodies and snacks for a decent price for the kiddos or for anyone wanting a snack. They have a petting zoo and, of course, photo ops and pumpkins for sale. The whole patch is not the biggest, but it is decent and extremely nice with great staff. We came on a Saturday night, it was busy but not crowded. It's pricey to pay $25 for 30 minutes of bounce house especially when they check the wrist bands and eventhough there's still one minute left untill your band expires, they rudely deny entry to one of the kids in your party but not the other. I didn't want to knock off anymore stars because the other employees were very sweet and helpful. The petting zoo line gets long and you need to purchase a separate ticket to accompany your child or else they have to go in alone, but they don't tell you that when you'rebuying the tickets, only when you get to the front of the line at the petting zoo and have to then lose your place in line to go buy that parent ticket. Please note the parent ticket is cheaper than the kids ticket.Games and certain other activites are a separate price outside of the $25 for the bounce house. The pumpkins are very expensive as well when I compare to othe local pumpkin patches. Not bad but not great, I will likely not return and go elsewhere for the price. read more

This was one of the best Christmas tree buying experiences me and my family have ever had. For the last 10 years since marriage we put up a Christmas tree. We have had our share of negative tree buying experiences throughout the years but this place was a breath of fresh air. The workers were all smiles, constantly helping and reaching out to customers walking in and asking if they needed help and made sure that all their questions were answered. This location really gets you in the spirit. They had a great diverse amount of trees, something for every family. Prices were great and the trees are high-quality. They had a lot on display and a lot of fresh trees in the back. Devon was absolutely amazing! He was extremely helpful and kind. All of the trees smelled so good and you can tell they were fresh. We just recently went to one nearby that was amazing and charged $25 per kid for unlimited play the entire day, and they had a decent selection of bouncy houses too. Highly recommend this spot for a Christmas tree! Last year, we went somewhere else and the tree was already dead. It was nailed to a stand and wouldn't drink water. Terrible experience. We stopped by to check out the Christmas trees and take Holiday photos of my canine child. Lots of free parking as it is in the Eagle Rock Plaza structure, top floor, closest to Target. We were there last Tuesday around 2p and it was not crowded. Everyone we spoke to was very nice. I was able to take about 50 photos in different spots. The tent cast a red glow on the photos but can fix that in editing later. Sorry we missed the pumpkin patch we will have to catch it next year. No designated photo op spots or set ups. Just trees of all sizes. The smallest ones were $49.95. The floor was just the cement of the parking structure, not hay thankfully, I'm allergic to it. We've been going to Cougar Mountain Pumpkin Patch for years. It's always been a great experience - easy parking, reasonable prices - and was great for quick in - and - out pumpkin picking and pictures. This year we decided to do host our kid's birthday party there. The kids all had a great time! There was plenty of activities to keep the kids busy, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. This is a great alternative birthday party venue for October babies :) The party space is a fenced area with hay bale seating and corn stalk decorations. One whole wall is filled with really cute crates and Halloween decor, so we didn't even have to do much for decorating on our end. You can bring all of your own food and drinks, no more overpriced pizzas! The young staff working there were really great as well, we were really impressed with how helpful, polite, and efficient these kids were. I saw this when going Target so returned on Sunday evening. This event is for primarily for kids, but when I asked why staff weren't wearing masks the man at the front desk just replied, "it's not required, we're outdoors." It doesn't make total sense. All kids under 12yo aren't able to be vaccinated yet. As I write, hospitalization due to Covid are 3-6x greater for kids compared to adults. SO - can this business do better to signal to guests that they take their families' health seriously? YES. Simply get staff to wear masks. And encourage guests to do the same, esp kids under 12yo?! The staff we experienced at the rides were great, esp the pedal cart racetrack. No complaints. The kids dropped things on the track and they were safely returned to me. read more

Came here yesterday but wanted to check another place out before committing to a tree. The other place was awful so came back here and it was one of the best experiences Ive had buying a tree. There was a young lady with dark brown hair with blonde and bangs? She was really sweet and helpful. She asked another guy, Nathan, if they had anymore of the trees that I was looking for. Nathan was the kindest guy! He showed me two trees from the newer batch, and even unraveled them to show me. I chose the second one. he has a really good eye, so if you're looking for a specific tree, ask him! Nathan assisted me to my car and in a jiffy got it secured and ready for its new home. It's small, not a lot of food on site, but very cute for an hour-2. My toddlers love it and we usually come 2x a season. No gourds or multicolored varieties. I didn't like the prices so much, $17 for a regular and $7 for a small. I left the pumpkins out for a day after about 4 days of purchase and they started to rot. So, I had to carve them quicker than I usually would and at least they lasted me until Halloween! I don't know if I'll be coming back next year, there just aren't many options in the area for pumpkin patches. And seeing that there are more varieties at the supermarket, might just go there. It's only worth it to support the seasonal festivities that Cougar Mountain puts out. read more

Unfortunately, this place is the reason why my family and I will cancel our tradition in getting real trees at this place for the holiday. we've given them business every year, but they're overpriced and do not work with you at all when you're about to spend $300+ on two christmas trees. the additional fees are crazy too. they charge $80-90 to flock and their reuseable tree stands are $34. The trees we saw ranged from $119- 210. The decent ones were $159+, but don't forget that you need to pay the additional $34 for the tree stand. The staff were friendly at the beginning, at least we thought they were. the guy who handled and loaded our tree (phillip i believe) walked away with so much disgust about the tip we gave and couldn't even thank us for the gesture. sorry, tip could've been more if we didn't feel so ripped off for the tree! read more

My family and I visited this pumpkin patch for the first time yesterday evening and it was a blast! The staff are very friendly and helpful and they have attractions for the whole family to participate in, such as family photo staging displays, the gigantic slide and electric animal rides, for example. Tip: If you buy the 24-pack of tickets for $20, you get 4 for free, which is about equivalent to going on one attraction. There are pony rides ($5), bounce houses, a spacious pumpkin patch (with a great selection of various sizes and colors of pumpkins,), refreshments, costumes and carving stuff for sale, electric animal carts, and more! This place is bomb dot com. My wife and I took our one-year old here, and he had a blast. They've got a great selection of pumpkins and lots of inflatable balloon things for kids of all ages to play in. They've also got race car thingies (they're not fast or anything, but they're fun), and carnival games. Oh, and they've got a petting zoo! My son kicked one of the chickens. Doh! Thankfully the chicken didn't seem to mind. The goat on the other hand. . . Just kidding, my son didn't kick the goat. He just pet him. I mean, I assume if someone (a baby or otherwise) kicked a goat, the goat would be PISSED. He'd probably rear back and kick whoever kicked him. And let me tell you, goats kick hard. Not that I've ever been kicked by a goat, but I seen a lot of nature shows on TV with goats, and you can see how fast they run. My rule of thumb is, the faster something runs, the harder it can kick. You know, because they have more leg muscles and stuff. Let's see. Oh, you should definitely get yourself some of the kettle corn. It was tasty and reasonably priced like everything else. Tangent: isn't it funny how "reasonably priced" is a good euphemism for "cheap?" What's wrong with just saying cheap? Does saying something is cheap connote poor quality? I dunno.
