This is a small but very sweet and family-friendly pumpkin patch. The woman who was working there was so kind, she gave our daughter a free mini pumpkin while we were looking around, a little Halloween bracelet before we left and offered to take pictures of us if we needed. There are some cute places to take pictures on hay bales and there are a couple red wagons to load your pumpkins in (our young daughter had a blast pulling a wagon around). There are some local pumpkin patches that charge you just to look around (?!) and are so pricey, but this was a good value and so friendly. We got a small pumpkin for $5. read more

It's a hop, skip, and a jump away from Halloween, and if I decide to get a pumpkin again this year I will probably come back to this pumpkin patch. Heck, I might even come check out their Christmas trees since I'll have hardwood floor in my next apartment. This patch ain't too flashy but they have a wide variety of pumpkin shapes and sizes, and the prices were quite reasonable for a pumpkin patch. They even had a big box of tiny pumpkins!! Since our group bought so many big pumpkins, they threw in an equal amount of baby pumpkins. So cute! This pumpkin patch was sooo cute and so family friendly! I came with my boyfriend and the lady that owns this place was beyond amazing. She offered to take pictures of us and she indeed did take many photos of us which was sooo sweet. Not to mention how amazing the photos came out with the multiple different photo backgrounds that were set up. At the end of our visit she also gifted us two mini pumpkins! We fell in love with a pumpkin with some goop on it and she offered to give it to us for free and sell us a better pumpkin with no goop! The patch is so cute! It's nothing fancy but exactly what we were looking for. We were a bit hesitant to go with our wild little one because some reviews made it seem like we'd have a bad experience but my daughter had a BLAST! I remembered the lot on Mission and Fremont at which I'd purchased pumpkins and Christmas trees in the past, so we headed up the 110 to South Pasadena. It was even better than I remembered...beautifully organized by pumpkin size, whimsical displays and little red wagons for photo ops and transporting larger pumpkins to your car. A cute little pumpkin patch in South Pas! I grew up somewhere much more rural than LA and would head to an actual farm each year to pick out my pumpkin. This...well, isn't that. It's a lot that they transform into a little patch, but I'd still say it's a big step up from picking out pumpkins at the grocery store. There weren't really activities going on like I've seen at other patches, but there are a few little photo ops and wagons for carting your pumpkin haul. I believe they're cash only and they have an ATM onsite. I came by for a pumpkin the first week of October, so they were still getting set up and I would guess it's a little more lively now that we're getting closer to Halloween. It's best to get your pumpkins later in the month here anyway so they don't melt--I don't know that I'll ever get used to the 90 degree days in October. South Pas is one of the cutest towns in the area, so I could totally see this being a stop on a social distanced jaunt around the neighborhood (even if you don't have kiddos)! read more

This was the first Pumpkin Patch experience. This is a cute little pumpkin patch in South Pasadena. It was not too crowded when we went, everyone was wearing masks and social distancing was kept. Lots of pumpkins in a box for sale and on the ground for photos. They also had other Halloween decor that made for really good photos. Definitely recommend! read more

I have nothing bad to say about any of the employees except the owner who was super rude to us and told us she was closing up early so we better hurry up. She followed around as if we were stealing. We've been meaning to write a review for years now. The older lady that runs this hole in the wall is rude, insensitive and over charges you. I've seen and heard her on serval occasions yelling at customers specially children and demanding the parents buy anything the child picks up. She ruins the holiday spirit with her money hungry attitude. South Pasadena is classy and she makes the town look dismal with her below standard pumpkins and 99cent store decor. Several of my neighbors have bought Christmas trees from her and all spend at least 150$ only for them to die and fall apart within a week after purchasing. The whole operation seems like a scam. My toddler and I dropped by in the morning and she immediately greeted us and gifted her a mini pumpkin. Needless to say my toddler lit up! We knew there was a pumpkin patch in the Pasadena area and got off the freeway to check it out. They are very dog friendly and have tons of shade so it's not as hot out. The entire patch is shaded which is a great relief since it's been so hot these days. They have a variety of pumpkin sizes of different shapes and kinds. There's a couple of nice photo ops. The place is fairly small but it's a very cute place while being spacious and having lots of pumpkins to choose from. The lady who owns/ works it is very friendly too. Loves to tell great stories and she's just super sweet and kind! They sell Christmas trees during the Christmas season too! read more

Our overpriced Christmas tree is already dying (paid $140+ including tax for a skinny 7-8 ft tree). And yes, we water it regularly. This is the first tree we ever had where it's looking sad/terrible only after two weeks. The guy who helped us didn't trim the bottom of the tree trunk like other places do. They also wanted to charge $5 (free at other places) for the netting to transport the tree. Lastly, the guy did the most lazy, half-ass job tying it to the car. I should've taken back my large tip. I wish I got his name... Never going here again. You're much better off going to Home Depot or the lot on N. Lake next to CVS. read more

Worst service ever. I came here to get some pumpkins and take cute photos with my little sister. The meager came up to me claiming I was "too sexual" and to be aware there was a minor present. I was wearing this exact outfit. She was so rude and disrespectful, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She then made a comment as I was leaving saying "my car costs more than your car." I was in disbelief. From what I can tell, she was on drugs. I am from and currently live in San Marino, and I will never bring any of my friends or family here. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

They have a large selection of pumpkins of various sizes without being too overwhelming for our little one.
