They even had some of the sculpted topiary bushes shaped like animals. Although cute, those topiaries looked like they'd be a lot of work to maintain. I did see some cute outdoor birdbaths and statues to complete the outdoor garden and there was a nice indoor area to pickup smaller items and ask for help from the staff. We were left alone to wander around the grounds, but periodically the employees would ask if we needed help. I like that they weren't pushy.

My job involved raking and reseeding a 900 square foot section of my lawn. I was quoted one price for the job, but it was nowhere near the final invoice price. The most alarming part of my invoice was a charge of $200 for seed. A 20 pound bag of Scotts TurfBuilder Mixed Sun and Shade Seed covers 2,660 square feet and costs $70. One bag of Scotts could have covered my small 900 square foot section three times! A purchase of $210 of Scotts seed would cover 7,980 Square Feet! Winding Rivers has been non-communicative. I've made numerous phone calls, personal visits, and written requests to Winding Rivers asking them to help me understand their invoice. I have had no response from Winding Rivers Landscape. Adding insult to my injury, Winding Rivers didn't even put straw down to protect the $200 seed! Winding Rivers won't get any more work from me.

I went in to pick up the trees in the spring, and they told me they sold them, and that I was negligent for not picking them up last year. The salesmen that sold them was no longer there. They could have called me before they sold them, the trees had my name on them, and said sold. They ordered new trees for me that were 4' tall instead of 6' tall. The owner said "tough luck buddy, take it or leave it".
