My landscaper had planted fescue grass in Mid March. it was ready for fertilizer so he had told me mix to get. I went to both Tractor Supply and Lowe's. In both cases I was unable to get anyone to assist me with finding the proper blend. I called back landscaper and he told me to go to Coulter Gardens. I walk in and was immediately asked by Lady behind counter if I needed any help. I replied "who is your fertilizer expert". She directed me to an office where the owner was at his desk. In a friendly manner he said, " come on in". I explained my situation and he immediately directed me to what I needed. He even took the time to share tips on proper application! Thank You Coulter Gardens for a level of Customer Service that is very difficult to find now days! Best place in town for lawn care needs! read more

The website stated statuary. They had some statues. But they weren't of good quality. The prices were very high on everything I seen. The staff was friendly. But the layout needed to be fixed. read more

I would like to start out by telling a sad but true story !! Back in 2017,we bought two trees from Coulter Gardens.These weren't the first trees we had bought through the years.Actually, we have done a lot of business buying seed,plants,fertilizers and numerous other things from them.We were told of the various warranty's etc. Now,back to the trees. We bought two more trees on the above mentioned date. One was a Pine and the other a Fruitless Mulberry. Coulter Gardens came out and planted these just like they had planted others in the past.These weren't cheap trees and neither was the planting.We were told on how to water,when and how much.We followed their directions.Within a few months,I noticed the Mulberry tree did not look good,so I called Coulters and told them of it. I even took some photos and sent to them via phone.They told me to try a few things to see if it would help the tree,which I did,but to no avail. I was then told by one of the employees that was knowledgeable about their trees and seemed to have authority. He told me they would extend the warranty of the tree since I had been in contact with them from the start. This continued every year. They would not bring us a new tree,but would just tell us more things to try.None worked.The tree has now died and Warren the owner then told me he would not do anything now because the warranty has run out. Warren didn't want to honor the agreement of the warranty,so he strung it out to an amount of time to he wouldn't have to.I will never do business again with Coulters,There a shoddy business,and you best be careful if you do business with them. I now do my business with Double D nursery,and Panhandle Greenhouse. Better trees at Double D Nursery anyway read more

I had a great experience today visiting this store. I met Jim who helped me pick seeds for my yard, fertilizer, and a seed sprayer. Then I came back later in the day and got more. He even helped me with gardening choices for my flower bed. Between him and the owner I just feel like I had a better experience and knowledge from the store employees versus me going to Home Depot/Lowe's. Now it's time to see how their seeds hold for this over seeding project. read more

Do not go to this company for christmas lights. The employees have no idea what they are doing or have any knowledge of basic electrical work. Bought a strand of 100ft electrical lights to insert lights (lights I bought from online, their light bulb prices were 6x the prices online) and the strand didn't work. I had to rework the electrical workings of the strand to get it to work. The employee how worked on my strand also gave false information about circuitry. Extremely overpriced, and completely incompetent employees. Waste of time and money. read more

Decent stock of greenery but don't expect refunds for purchases...plants are not guaranteed. Trees and shrubs only have a 60 day warranty which doesn't give you much of a chance to determine anything. Even if the tree or shrub dies right away the owner will give you as many reason as he can why it's your fault that it died. . I am a rather knowledgeable gardener but could never get a refund for any of the trees or shrubs that died. Spent a ton of money there so I will not be purchasing there any longer. Don't purchase unless you are certain your tree or shrub will survive Because you will not get a refund. read more

Bought a stevia plant it was infested with aphids staff told me to just wipe them off which I don't think is a real solution and they seem to have a problem with me bringing the plant into the building infested but they sold it to me that way, thankfully my other plants have not been overrun. Makes me wonder if it isn't something with a stevia plant alone, they had none for sale to replace it. read more
