The…read moreone owner we worked with became very rude at the end of the process due to corrections needing to be made on the final bill. They attempted to bill us on items that were originally defined as part of the procedure and within the parameters of the overall costs. The electrician left exposed and uncapped wiring in our basement and when he denied this, Kitchen Village, rather than showing customer support, sided with the electrician. You can also expect an unfinished room when they are done. They do not paint or take care of the finishing touches such as tiling. If you want a high quality job, where you can walk into a completed room, DO NOT hire the Kitchen Village.

Prior to the repairs, we had no leakage issues with our roof or icicles on our gutters. Since then, our roof is leaking. We have water damage on our bathroom ceiling that is worsening. We get dangerous icicles hanging from our gutters. We have been in contact with Tops for over 20 months regarding these issues. Once, they sent out a man, Ron, to look at the roof. He went up (took pictures he sent my husband) and did a quick fix with glue. We were then told by Tom to buy paint and paint the ceiling, which we did not do because that doesn't solve the problem. It just covers it up. Well, the ceiling damage is getting worse. The gutter issue was never resolved. And I have no doubt we have mold in our crawl space attic from the water damage. My husband has been reaching out to them to no avail. I called the office July 29th, 2020 and left a message. I sent a text with photos to Tom the same day. No response, again. We are fed up. We spent nearly $20,000 for the new roof and gutters to end up with horrible results they refuse to fix properly. Not to mention, they started the job on a Thursday. Tarped the house Friday afternoon. Came back Monday. Finished Tuesday. FOUR days to do the job over the course of SIX days. They left cigarette butts, shingles, nails, wood pieces, and trash all over our yard. They damaged some of our siding. We spent all of Wednesday cleaning up after them. Our roof was scheduled for mid-July, but completed a week or two earlier. The crew was excellent, hard working and extremely nice. They came in at 7AM and finished the entire roof by 7PM. The roof color and quality is great. We are very pleased with this company. The quote was affordable and highly reasonable considering the size of the job. The contract was precise and easy to follow. I highly recommend this company. Thank you for doing such a great job on our roof :)
