Publix was a genuinely pleasant stop for us this morning. We arrived just after they opened at 7am…read moreand the store had that fresh, clean, tidy feeling that makes early shopping feel calm and easy, the kind of environment where you can walk in half awake and still find exactly what you need without wandering around. Shelves were fully stocked, everything was right where it should be, and I had no trouble grabbing a few things to bring back to the campervan for breakfast, including bagels and cream cheese that toasted up nicely as we eased into the day. Checkout was quick and smooth, the sort of in and out moment that keeps the morning moving, and we were sent on our way with a warm thank you from the manager as we headed out, a small gesture that always lands well when the day is just getting started. There's a reason we keep choosing Publix. The consistency, the cleanliness, the familiar layout, and the steady friendliness of the staff all come together in a way that makes every visit feel welcoming and reliable. It really is a pleasure to shop here. [Review 305 of 2026 - 286 in Alabama - 25493 overall]

Clean, very friendly and kind employees - except the girl in clown makeup at the deli, who…read moreliterally rolled her eyes because I smiled at her to ask for help...then said she'd be with me in a minute as she waddled over to chat and laugh with another employee. I passed on my Boars Head order because of her. Well stocked, easy to navigate, produce looks lovely. DO NOT get your sushi here though! Not only was it dry (despite appearances that it was being freshly made), but the preparer hid the scraps that made up the ends, which were literally falling apart - a sign of poor training. I wouldn't hesitate shop here again, just pass on the deli and sushi.

Absolutely! Here's a polished, Yelp-ready version of your crawfish review that keeps the…read morepersonality and structure but reads clean for a public audience: Crawfish season 2025 is here--and PigFish Seafood came in strong! I dropped in on a Monday and the crawfish were calling my name, so I had to answer. Shoutout to Matthew Rowe--he understood the assignment! I asked for spicy crawfish "for play play"--just enough heat to make it fun but not overbearing--and he nailed it. The seasoning was flavorful with a kick, and yes, I was sneezing. (Because as we all know: If you ain't sneezing, it ain't seasoned!) Bag Breakdown: * 3 lbs of high-quality crawfish--clean, well-prepped, and only one straight tail (huge win!) * No heads included (thank you!) * Two pieces of corn and a couple of potatoes--that corn was so good, I needed a second one immediately Delicious crawfish, great service, and a solid spice level. I'll absolutely be back!

This store is a complete price gouging nightmare. I rarely shop in Piggly Wiggly's because it's…read morejust not my taste. I'm not bougie, I'm particular lol. There's only one in the New Orleans region and that's on the Westbank (Westwego). However, I'm here in Prichard, AL, (in the hood) and decided to check out their produce section cuz I love fruit. These folks are seriously taking advantage of my peeps. The prices in Westwego are a heck of a lot better than here. How can one gallon of Hawaiian Punch (filled with high fructose corn syrup) be $4.99 when at Walmart it's a buck twenty five?? The cheapest styrofoam plates, nowhere near Hefty quality costs $16.73 for 100....it's more like 50 plates unless you're putting bird food on them because you'd have to double them up to keep food from falling off. Apple Jacks cereal $6.99 for a 24 oz box? Are you serious?? A small branch of grapes, $4.71 wrapped up on a small styrofoam lunch plate lol. Baby! Y'all can have this mess. I honestly hate that this store is taking advantage of poor people and should be closed. They're not here to provide an affordable food supply for these families, they're literally enriching themselves off the poor. I guess the community knows what's happening up in here, considering it was empty inside with very few customers. I put everything back that I was going to buy (3 containers of strawberries). I was just too disgusted with those insane prices and didn't feel comfortable patronizing this place. I know people are in business to make money but c'mon, you're up charging over 100% for many of these items and you know that ain't right.
