Went late December 2025 with my grandparents and it's a very cute brunch spot. The food was good and I got a cheesecake slice to go. If I could go again I would get more of the jello. The wait wasn't bad but there is limited seating so you might have to wait. read more

I love this place! Every time I am working in Elk City, I stop in for lunch or call my lunch order in to go. I always get the Delite Plate with the avocado chicken salad sandwich (which is insanely delicious) which comes with a little sweet roll, honey butter, a side (I always get soup) and a slice of pear jello. The pear jello is like nothing you've had before. I thought it sounded strange, but it's creamy & delicious! Perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant also has a cute little store inside, which is great for gifts! The Country Dove is a must visit whenever you're in Elk City! read more

On our travels across country we try to find places that are unique and memorable. We successful in our choice today. The service, food along with the conversations amongst strangers could not have been better. I would write about the meal ( chicken sales sandwhich & casserole ) but to be honest can't really pick out 1 over the other as they were both outstanding. A charming tea house that offers several homemade specials and is known in the area for their delicious French silk pie. Their lunch plates are a delightful way to sample their soup, surprisingly yummy pear jello ( name does not do it justice!) and heart shaped bran muffin. Came in around 2:30 which ( they are only open until 2pm for lunch) after briefly speaking to the woman who greeted me, I walked back to my Car and started browsing other lunch spots. The woman came out and asked if we would be okay with a chicken avocado sandwich and some desert which was all they had after lunch. We happily agreed. The MOST lovely ladies in this store. They didn't have to take us in but they did with smiles, and were extremely friendly. The service was superb and the food was very yummy! We wanted to give it a try passing through town, but they had no covid precautions in place and it felt very unsafe. No staff in masks, no distancing between tables, and lots of people in a tiny indoor space. It looks like a cute place and I'd be happy to come back if they start to consider guest safety. read more

This is a great place to dine. We came at lunch time and enjoys the half plate--half a sandwich on a fresh baked croissant roll, cup of homemade soup, jello, Muffin with honey butter. Everything was exceptional and the portions were just right. For dessert we had some French Silk Pie that was totally phenomenal. We were passing by and decided to try this restaurant. It was a great place for a light lunch. Everything there was homemade and several things were a pleasant surprise. I'm not a real fan of Jell-O but they are homemade pear gel I was really good along with the homemade muffin. My friend travelled route 66 a year before I did, and insisted that if I don't stop anywhere else she recommended, I HAVE to stop here because the food is delicious and the ladies are so lovely. I'm glad I listened - this place is a GEM, completely unparalleled! She warned me that the tea room was out the back of a "strange christian bookshop", but it didn't really feel that way. It felt like walking into nana's house, with quilting textiles and wall-hangings with quaint sayings on them. My friend and I had arrived outside of food serving hours, but Glenna (who I gather is the main tea room lady) was sooooo gorgeous and lovely. She sat us down with some iced tea and her speciality - the french silk pie - and they were both OUT OF THIS WORLD. She wanted to know all about our travels, and just truly radiated the most beautiful spirit. I hugged her about 3 times; she felt like she was my nana. She even insisted on us flipping through the old guest books until we found my friend's entry. Seriously - GO TO THIS PLACE. Food is amazing, but the experience you will have and feeling you will leave with is totally invaluable. (And take a look in the upstairs bathroom - amazing) read more

Nice little tea room. My husband called them the "wizards of chicken salad." The food is filling but not heavy. The muffins are really moist. We had the creamy potato soup and it was delicious. The jello that comes with the meal is more of a pudding and is very tasty. Service is quick, we got our food in less than 10 minutes. Its open for lunch from 11-2. read more

Really isn't all the cracked up to be, the food was bland and lacking in flavor, walmart has better deserts and the prices were up there for such small portions. I would not go here again and wishing I hadn't today either. read more
